XiaobeizidemamiThe hotel's overall environment is truly exceptional. The garden layout is elegant and serene, with beautiful scenery at every turn, creating an incredible atmosphere. The privacy is excellent, and strolling through the grounds is incredibly relaxing. Everything is meticulously maintained and clean, making it perfect for both unwinding and taking photos. I must also commend the hotel's restaurant; the food quality is top-notch, with fresh ingredients and outstanding flavors, and the service is attentive, making for a very pleasant dining experience. A special thank you to our butler, Aureliano, who provided professional and considerate service throughout our stay. He was responsive, paid close attention to details, and struck the perfect balance, ensuring all our needs were met with care, making us feel incredibly comfortable. My overall stay was impeccable, and I truly appreciate the hotel team's dedication. I will definitely prioritize staying here for my next vacation. Highly recommended!

Guest UserMy friend and I stumbled upon this hotel online, and after booking, it truly exceeded my expectations!
It's right inside Lijiang Ancient Town! As soon as you step out, you're on cobblestone streets. You can walk to Sifang Street in just 5 minutes. After exploring the night market, you can just stroll back to the hotel – no need for a taxi at all, which makes you feel super safe 💯.
🏠 The facilities are unbelievably complete:
* Smart toilet – Heated seat + automatic flush. No more freezing cold toilet seats in winter!
* Central air conditioning + humidifier – The humidity here is just perfect.
* Full set of toiletries – Not those cheap sample sizes! These are proper branded products, and they smell amazing.
* 24-hour hot water + thermostatic shower – The water pressure is fantastic; showering here is pure bliss 🚿.
* They called us the day before check-in to confirm our itinerary and even sent us a guide for exploring the ancient town 📋.
* The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and upgraded us to a room with a view.
* There's free afternoon tea every day, with flower cakes and Pu'er tea. Sitting in the courtyard soaking up the sun was so chill 🌸.
* When checking out, they even gave us parting gifts (tie-dye and Pu'er tea cakes), which was a lovely touch. They also offer a free photography service, including makeup and styling, saving us the trouble of finding a photo studio ourselves!

Guest UserBack in Dali, I decided to revisit the Xianyun 360-degree Cliff Seaview Hot Spring B&B, and it truly lived up to expectations! The front desk staff were incredibly polite and attentive. I later found out that the humble and helpful manager, who was always ready to assist, was also from Beijing, which made me feel right at home. The B&B's environment is serene and immaculate. The private hot spring pool in the room is definitely the highlight. Soaking in the hot spring, you're directly facing the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake – it's like a landscape painting come to life. During my downtime, I loved sitting on the balcony, gazing at Cangshan and Erhai, which was incredibly therapeutic after a long journey. The restaurant's dishes were delicious and flavorful. My experience was as excellent as ever, truly a hidden gem of a seaview B&B. Choosing to stay here twice speaks volumes about its reliable quality. It’s my top choice when visiting Dali, highly recommended!

PowaluodichideguoThis newly opened downtown hotel, built in 2025, is a gem! It's just a 3-minute walk to Kunming Old Street, Shuncheng, and Jinma Biji Archway. Plus, there are tons of amazing food options nearby, making it the perfect base for any food-loving adventurer.
The entire room features smart controls, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. While the hairdryer isn't a Dyson, the Laifen is still excellent. We even received complimentary welcome fruit upon arrival, and the minibar is entirely free.
The concierge was proactive in helping with our luggage, and the views from our 28th-floor room, overlooking the city lights at night, were stunning. The 24-hour gym is a huge plus, allowing me to work out whenever I wanted – a truly thoughtful amenity.
Many star-rated hotels are still stuck with traditional satellite TV, so it was a delight to find that this one offers screen mirroring that works seamlessly. The smart entertainment system is a standout feature, and I give it a big thumbs up! (*≧∪≦)👍🏻
Now, let's talk about breakfast: The selection of Chinese and Western dishes is extensive, including many authentic Yunnan specialties. The rare pea flour, kumiss, five-color glutinous rice, and flower cakes were all outstanding and delicious. My only regret is not getting to try the Eggs Benedict – a slight disappointment.
The restaurant service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, proactively guiding us to our table. They even offered coffee to go, cleared plates promptly, and provided warm and thorough service throughout. This truly enhanced my experience.
Justin Liu deserves a special mention for his proactive enthusiasm and prompt responses. Five stars!

The location is good, right at the entrance of Gaozhuang, so you can walk there. However, the facilities and service don't live up to a five-star (or diamond) rating. The decor and amenities are quite simple, feeling more like an apartment. The concierge service was great; they actively helped with luggage and were very polite about storing it. But the front desk was just average – expressionless, and looked annoyed when I asked for a bag. Although it's on a high floor, I'd advise light sleepers to reconsider, as there was loud music outside early in the morning, not sure if it was a public square dance or what. Overall, the experience was just okay.

I really enjoyed this trip. The service was impeccable, and the butler was incredibly thoughtful! The hotel itself is small but beautiful and new, with more than enough facilities. The restaurant on the fifth floor offers direct views of the snow-capped mountains – beauty everywhere you look! It's a 15-minute walk to Shuhe Ancient Town, and we walked there on two of the three days we stayed, which was very convenient. Of course, the hotel also provides a shuttle service; you just need to book in advance. Overall, I highly recommend it!

The decor and design were fantastic. The renovation of the historic building is quite unique, and the courtyard is breathtaking.
The housekeeping service was excellent, and any requests were promptly addressed.
The breakfast was also delicious, featuring some unique dishes.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yunnan.

Amy LCWe stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as a family of 3 adults and 1 child. We paid approximately SGD600 extra to upgrade to the 2-Bedroom Family Suite. While the extra space was appreciated, we felt the upgrade did not provide good value for the additional cost.
Pros
* The suite is spacious and comfortable, with two separate bedrooms.
* It provides good privacy for family members or caregivers looking after a child.
* The hotel staff were responsive to my messages via Trip.com and accommodated my requests whenever possible.
Cons
1. Family Suites are only located on Level 1. Although advertised as an ocean-view room, the view is much more limited compared to rooms on the higher floors.
2. Limited mermaid show experience from Level 1. Even if you pay for the mermaid interaction, the mermaids do not swim down to Level 1, making it difficult to enjoy the experience from the suite.
3. The Level 1 aquarium view mainly features large marine animals such as sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, and large fish. Guests who prefer colourful reef fish may find the higher floors more enjoyable.
4. The upgrade does not include hotel privileges. After paying for the Family Suite upgrade, we were surprised that benefits such as complimentary Ocean World admission were no longer included. We had to purchase the entrance tickets separately.
5. Housekeeping needs improvement. After the second day’s housekeeping service, the bathrobes were left on the TV console instead of being neatly arranged, and the coffee cup in the coffee machine had not been cleaned.
6. Strong cigarette smell in the toilet. Although the room was designated as non-smoking, the bathroom had a cigarette smell throughout our stay.
7. Insufficient towels. Our booking was for 4 guests, but housekeeping consistently provided only 2 bath towels. We had to request additional towels on both days.
8. The bathroom layout is not ideal for a family. Although the suite has 2 toilets, there is only 1 shower area, which can be inconvenient when multiple people are getting ready at the same time.
9. The corridor lighting system is confusing and inconvenient. When we left the room, it was normal for the corridor lights to switch off. However, when we returned, the motion sensor did not activate the lights. Pressing the regular light switch also did not work—we had to press the “Meeting” button to turn the corridor lights on. As a result, the corridor was often completely dark at night, and we ended up hanging our own portable light near the shoe rack for better visibility.
Overall
The room itself is spacious and suitable for families. However, considering the significant additional cost of the upgrade, we expected better housekeeping standards, a smoke-free environment, and the same guest benefits offered with other room categories. Unless you specifically need the extra bedroom space, the standard ocean-view rooms on the higher floors may offer better value for money.

The location is excellent, not far from the center of the old town, and taxis can drop you off right at the entrance. The food is fantastic, especially the breakfast which is incredibly rich. The complimentary afternoon tea is also thoughtfully prepared. On the third floor, there's a self-service area with fruits, drinks, and coffee, and in the evening, they offer 'goodnight' desserts. The service is very attentive; any questions in the chat group are answered promptly. The hotel provides a 'comfort pack,' sunscreen spray, shawls, and umbrellas. We happened to stay during a period of rain and a temperature drop, and these items came in very handy.
The only minor drawback is the soundproofing, which is indeed poor. This is a common issue with old wooden houses. Our sleep quality is generally good, so it didn't really bother us. If we visit Dali Old Town again, An Yu will still be our first choice.

Guest UserHonestly, this has been one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at so far!
I can’t really comment much on the location because we honestly didn’t have to think about it—the hotel provides a private car to take us around, which made everything so easy and comfortable.
The experience itself is amazing. There are SO many activities included that we were actually confused about which one to try first! The room was beautiful, with an incredible direct view of the Snow Mountain. Waking up to that view was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
They also provide unlimited drinks, alcohol, fruits, and so many thoughtful little extras throughout the stay. But honestly, it’s not just about the unlimited drinks 😆—the whole experience, service, activities, room, and attention to detail were exceptional.
My only regret is that we stayed for just one night. I definitely think 2–3 nights would be perfect to really enjoy everything the hotel has to offer.
Perfect in every way. One of my favorite stays in Lijiang and absolutely recommended!
