Shangri-La Resort

Staying at Shangri-La in Shangri-La was a unique experience. The hotel's decor style is quite distinctive, very different from other Shangri-La hotels I've stayed at in other cities. The room layout and arrangement were very well thought out, and the facilities were good. The staff were also very friendly. A young lady named Vivian even added me on WeChat to follow up on my stay, and arranged airport transfer when I left, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's overall location is excellent, very close to the North Gate of Dukezong Ancient City, and right behind it is the popular Xiangyang Road Farmers Market. It's incredibly convenient for dining, accommodation, sightseeing, and shopping. I highly recommend it to everyone.

This is the most thoughtful Shangri-La I've ever stayed at, with a lovely ******* style. The only downside is that there's no diffused oxygen supply.

A true Shangri-La within Shangri-La—the hotel itself is a beautiful attraction. Upon check-in, the front desk presented a Hada scarf, which felt very ceremonial. The room offered incredible views overlooking the entire city and was even equipped with an oxygen generator.

My stay at the Shangri-La Hotel was exceptional. The overall ambiance is very stylish, quiet, comfortable, and full of great vibes. The service was meticulous and thoughtful, with prompt responses from the staff that truly made me feel at home. The dining was fantastic—the food was delicious and of high quality. From the environment and service to the dining, everything was spot on. It was a truly worthwhile travel experience 👍👍👍

The room was very clean and comfortable, and it even came equipped with an oxygen concentrator. The hotel features a beautiful Tibetan-style decor.

I really loved the grand and impressive lobby. Guests also get dining discounts upon check-in, and being able to enjoy salmon in a plateau region was a delightful surprise. The oxygen concentrator in the room also worked very well, which helped a lot with altitude sickness.

Room service is available, and the seafood fried rice is super delicious! There is an oxygen concentrator in the room, which made for a very restful sleep~ We had to change our itinerary at the last minute and cancelled one night without any extra charge—such a thoughtful and accommodating hotel. Being a well-established five-star hotel, whenever I visit an unfamiliar city, I always choose Shangri-La. The last photo is the sky I captured looking up from the parking lot, so peaceful.

The hotel's public areas are gorgeous. Although the rooms are on the smaller side, you can tell the staff put a lot of thought into the amenities—they even provide an oxygen concentrator and a portable vanity mirror. Breakfast was also great; many items were freshly fried or baked, served hot and delicious. Overall, the service was fantastic. Location-wise, it's just about a 1 km walk to the north gate of Dukezong Ancient Town. They even gave us a complimentary room upgrade, welcomed us with a traditional Hada scarf, and gave us a lovely souvenir gift when we checked out.
