Our family of four (with two children) traveled to Inner Mongolia, and overall, our stay was fantastic! We were all extremely satisfied.
The hotel offered a wide range of family-friendly activities, including sandboarding, trampolines, a swimming pool, and a kids' play area. The children had an absolute blast, and even without leaving the hotel, they could have a full and enjoyable day.
The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were all delicious, with a wide variety of dishes and great flavors. The hotel's lounge also provided a selection of snacks and drinks, which we could enjoy freely, allowing our family to relax and unwind.
Furthermore, getting to the nearby desert from the hotel was very convenient, just a short drive away. In the desert, we could experience various activities, including camel riding, which the children absolutely loved.
The hotel also arranged a wealth of special activities, such as stargazing tours, sunrise viewing, and bonfire performances and fireworks suitable for the whole family, allowing us to experience unique moments that are hard to find in everyday life.
For families with children, the hotel's environment and facilities are exceptionally well-appointed. We were very pleased with the dining, activities, and service.
If any friends plan a family trip to Inner Mongolia in the future, I will definitely recommend this hotel! It's absolutely worth staying at!

Guest UserCleanliness: Even though it's an older, established Chinese brand hotel, the cleanliness has always been exceptionally well-maintained. The room was full of thoughtful touches; as soon as I entered, I noticed the turndown service with milk 🥛, which immediately made a great impression.
Service: The service was exceptionally gentle and friendly, truly making guests feel at home. When the security staff needed to move my car, they were also very polite and courteous, not making me feel uncomfortable at all.
This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Next time I'm in Hohhot, I'll definitely stay here again!

This was the only 5-star hotel in Hohhot available in early August that could accommodate two adults and two children.
The facilities are quite old; you'd be hard-pressed to find a hotel in the Jiangsu-Zhejiang region that hasn't been renovated in so many years. Each room comes with four bottles of purified water. The minibar had no drinks, only instant coffee and teabags.
Breakfast was not included. It cost 108 per adult and 80 per child daily. The shaomai and lamb soup at breakfast were delicious, but other than that, the Chinese food options were very limited.
The swimming pool was decent, not crowded, and the service was good.
Even though the accommodation was rather mediocre, the areas around Hohhot are a lot of fun, and Hongshiya is definitely worth a visit.

LV123789The biggest draw of this hotel is the spacious rooms. It's conveniently located right behind Wanda Pedestrian Street, making dining incredibly easy. The hotel lobby is designed with a very luxurious feel, and the rooms are decorated with unique Inner Mongolian characteristics. The bathroom and shower are also well-designed with a wet and dry separation. From our floor, we had a great view overlooking Hohhot city and could even see the Yinshan Mountains in the distance. The hotel has a swimming pool, though it's not very large. Breakfast was exceptional and very diverse, featuring three fresh coffee machines. The Inner Mongolian milk tea was delicious, and the noodles were tasty. Getting around from here was very convenient!

The breakfast offers a wide variety, with the Mongolian milk tea and dairy products being particularly unique. The staff were warm and attentive, proactively recommending local attractions. The location is convenient, making it easy to drive or take a taxi to Genghis Khan Mausoleum and Xiangshawan Desert. Good value for money, I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Highly recommend! This was my first time in Hohhot, and I came specifically for Zhou Shen's concert. Upon check-in, they gave me so much merchandise: two beautiful Keke Mongolian robes, a stack of transparent cards, and a great energy pack. The hotel's facilities are super new, and breakfast was also excellent. It's very close to the Inner Mongolia Museum and the airport. Due to my tight schedule, I only managed to visit the Chifeng Grassland. I'll have to come back another time to explore other grasslands, and when I do, I'll definitely stay here again!

Traveling with my child during the summer for the first time in Inner Mongolia, I unexpectedly had to work overtime, pulling all-nighters and dealing with travel fatigue, which led to a bout of acute enteritis. Thankfully, I chose this hotel. Both the facilities and services are excellent, especially the staff – they are incredibly thoughtful and enthusiastic. They truly consider guests' needs, from recommending dining and entertainment to helping with extending my stay, it was very comforting. The room was also very comfortable; my child and I slept until almost noon, getting some much-needed rest. Thumbs up! 👍

Anonymous UserFacilities: Although a bit dated, they are well-maintained. Sheraton used to be a guarantee of quality.
Hygiene: Decent enough.
Environment: This was a bit disappointing. After reading reviews for hotels in Hohhot, many mentioned strong cigarette smells, so I specifically asked Ctrip to arrange a non-smoking room before arriving. Upon check-in, I asked the front desk if it was a non-smoking room, and the young lady immediately said, without hesitation, that all their rooms were non-smoking. After a long journey, I thought I could finally relax. Unfortunately, as soon as I entered the room, a strong smell of smoke hit me. The frustration I felt at that moment! 💢 I immediately contacted the front desk to see if I could change rooms, and again, without hesitation, they said there were no rooms available. It was only after I contacted Ctrip that they said a change could be arranged. But I had already unpacked my luggage and didn't want to bother with moving again. I'm very grateful to the bellboy who helped with my luggage and accompanied me to see a room on the 16th floor. Honestly, I didn't want to trouble the cleaning staff to clean again 🧹. If the hotel had carefully considered the guest's needs from the beginning, all this hassle could have been avoided.
Service: The service was satisfactory. The charging stations outside the hotel entrance are also convenient for electric car owners to recharge.

MinglichengxinMy recent stay at the Howard Johnson Plaza Erdos (Civic Center Branch) for my trip to Ordos far exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it. The hotel is conveniently located near the Civic Center, making it easy to get around for appointments. The surrounding area is quiet and clean, offering a peaceful retreat in the midst of the city, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The lobby boasts an elegant and grand design, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, the process was efficient and smooth. Any requests were handled promptly, which made for a very comfortable experience.
The room itself was spacious and well-designed, with good natural light and ventilation. The bedding was soft and comfortable, leading to an excellent night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, with stable hot water and a full range of toiletries. The facilities were well-maintained; the air conditioning and internet worked perfectly, showing great attention to detail. The breakfast spread was extensive, a mix of Chinese and Western options, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors, catering to various tastes.
The hotel as a whole was spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. The value for money is top-notch in the area. It's an ideal choice for both business travelers and families. The service, environment, and comfort all met my satisfaction, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Ordos.

Coming to Ordos to see a play, I chose this renowned five-star hotel, and I truly felt it was worth the trip.
The room was very spacious, and the view outside the window was absolutely beautiful, with a seating area perfect for a short rest. The long table under the TV was also very convenient to use. The yurt-style canopy over the bed immediately gave it a strong sense of ethnic and regional charm. It’s also worth mentioning that they provided welcome fruits and a souvenir gift.
The breakfast restaurant is on the 2nd floor and can accommodate many people dining at once, so there's no waiting for a table. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with many Inner Mongolian regional specialties like milk tea and meat shaomai. The taste was authentic, allowing me to enjoy breakfast while also experiencing the unique culture of Inner Mongolia. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit.
