"It's a bit far from the city center, but if you take a taxi it's not a problem to get there.
There were a lot of comments about the humidity being a problem, but the weather was nice when we stayed so it wasn't a problem at all.
There was a large bathtub, a spacious shower room, a comfortable bed and good amenities. I'm very satisfied."

GGuest UserIf you are planning to stay at Mercure Iguazu Hotel Iru, do yourself a favor: read their pre-arrival emails for the entertainment value, but never actually book their ”exclusive” private car service. Unless, of course, you’ve had a few too many glasses of Malbec and feel like donating your money to a creative writing project.
Here’s why the hotel’s transport service is a ”must-avoid”:
The front desk will happily quote you a price that is roughly 130% of the market rate (think 60,000 Pesos when the standard round-trip to the National Park is 40,000). They’ll justify this with flowery language about it being a ”private service” and the costs of ”empty legs.”
That ”luxury” private car? It’s just a slightly cleaner-than-average van or a 7-seater SUV. If that’s worth a 50% markup to you, you’ll love it I arranged a pickup for 2:00 PM. I even messaged the driver at 1:50 PM to confirm I’d be ready by 2:10 PM. In a stunning display of ”Mercure time,” the driver finally graced me with his presence at 2:45 PM. I suppose I should thank God he wasn't over an hour late, but sitting at the park entrance for 35 minutes while paying ”premium” rates really added that extra sparkle to my trip.
The hotel is fine, but their transport service is a blatant scam wrapped in a ”private car” label. Save your money, call a local taxi or use a ride-hailing app, and spend that 20,000 Peso difference on literally anything else. You’ll get to the park faster and with much less resentment.
XXiongmaoshushuThis is a very cost-effective hotel. Iguazu is a very small town, so don't expect too much from the hotel, but it is definitely worth the price. Local transportation relies on taxis and buses, and there is a taxi point at the door of the hotel, which is convenient.
WWLKohWe arrived before 9am and could check into our room straightaway. Very grateful to be able to do so and focus on getting to Iguazu Falls. We had no idea how to get there and the receptionist swiftly settled for us by helping us book return transport. The room was spacious and had good views. Nothing luxurious but serves it's purpose well. See pic. The breakfast was nothing fancy but decent. There are 2 swimming pools. One at ground level, one at 9th floor. You can fill up your bottles at the gym, basically all I needed.
SSebajuThe hotel is nice, the facilities look good. The service is not that good though, one day we didn't get the room service. And for breakfast we had to wait every day to get basic stuff like plates or cluttery, and also wait for food that took long to replenish.
AAnonymous UserThe mosquito control in the room is very good, there is a special fragrance and anti-mosquito lotion for the guests to use
The restaurant in the hotel tastes pleasantly surprised, I recommend everyone to try it.
LLady_DiA beautiful hotel, close to nature. Welcome staff. There are 2 pools and a nice restaurant. Photos of a delicious dinner.))
It's all done in one style, beautiful houses, even the recipient is beautifully suited to the general view. On the second floor of the recipient is a lounge area where you can comfortably wait for your settlement and play desktop games. Or read the book.
There is everything you need in the room: from various cups to mixers, there are mosquito repellents that help you a lot. Mate, nuts and chocolate candy as a compliment to the plant were a nice bonus.
A very cool mangal terrace, you can have dinner in nature.
And I want to pay attention to the details: a note with the guest name and a greeting - it looked very nice 🥰 ❤️
This is one of the best hotels you want to recommend. 10 out of 10.
XXiaoxuan3490The room is big, especially the bed, and it's very clean, which is pretty good in Argentina. The airport bus can go directly to the airport. Turn right for about 200 meters and you will see the scenic spots of the Three Kingdoms. It is also the starting point for the bus to the Great Falls. Currently, the one-way ticket to the Great Falls is 3,000 local currency, and the one-way ticket to the airport is 3,300 local currency (5,900 yuan round trip). ), a taxi costs 12,000 yuan, and the ticket to Iguazu Falls is 20,000 local currency (about 20 US dollars). You can rent cars and travel at the hotel's TAXI and REMIS centers, and the services are very good. The hotel stipulates check-out at ten o'clock. Since we were on an evening flight, the front desk asked the manager for instructions and delayed check-out until twelve o'clock.
