Dongfangchenxi1177During my trip around Qinghai Lake, I stayed at the Kaiyuan Hotel in Xining, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is very close to Xining Station, within walking distance, which is super convenient for catching high-speed trains. The front desk staff were very dedicated and proactive in helping with any issues. The hotel breakfast was plentiful, and the restaurant was spacious. They also have an underground parking garage, which is great for those traveling by car. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the bedding was very comfortable. The hotel's surroundings have a well-developed commercial area, making shopping and strolling very convenient. It's close to Xining's shopping streets and night markets. Highly recommended!

Guest UserOn my road trip through Qinghai and Gansu, this hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, allowing me to get a great rest after a long day of driving. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, parking was convenient, and the amenities were comprehensive. The location is also very convenient, saving time and effort when getting around. The attention to detail was impressive, it offered great value for money, and they even had late-night snacks! It's a perfect stop for a long road trip. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

Guest UserAfter comparing a few hotels, I still decided to go with Sofitel! And I'm so glad I did, it was a truly nice experience. Firstly, the hotel has a fantastic design; it doesn't feel old or dated at all, and the facilities are impeccably maintained, definitely five-star standard. Secondly, the billiard and ping-pong rooms are a real highlight! Thirdly, the service was incredibly thoughtful. It just so happened to be my birthday during my stay, and my butler, Xiao Qi, thoughtfully delivered a birthday cake – I was truly touched!

I recently stayed at Lone Star with my child, and overall, the experience was quite good and I'd recommend it, though there are a few minor details I hope they'll improve.
First, the pros:
* **Environment and Cleanliness:** The hotel is located in the Gobi Desert and has a very futuristic design. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had no odor, which exceeded my expectations.
* **Observation Deck:** The observation deck offers excellent views. Stargazing at night was truly spectacular; there was no light pollution, and the Milky Way was clearly visible. My child was so excited they didn't want to come down.
* **Children's Facilities:** There's a dedicated children's playground and that popular big slide. My child went down it dozens of times, completely wearing themselves out. It's very family-friendly.
* **Front Desk Service:** A definite thumbs-up! When we checked in, the front desk attendant proactively told us that the price we booked at was higher than the current day's rate. She advised us to cancel and rebook on Ctrip, saving us several hundred yuan. Such honest service is rare these days, and I was very touched.
* **Butler Service:** The overall attitude was great, and they were very responsive to requests, helping with luggage and delivering items promptly.
Now for the shortcomings, mainly two points:
* **Butler Response Time:** Perhaps due to limited staff, there were a few times when I messaged the butler on WeChat and received slow replies. For example, it took nearly half an hour to get a bottle of mineral water. I suggest increasing staff during peak hours.
* **Outdated Shuttle Vehicles:** This was the biggest drawback. The hotel's shuttle buses and pick-up/drop-off vehicles looked old and worn. The seats were tattered, they rattled loudly when moving, and the brakes felt a bit shaky, making us uneasy. For such a stylish hotel, these vehicles are really out of place. I strongly recommend replacing them with new ones.
In summary, the positives outweigh the negatives. The environment and experience were well worth the price. If they could update the vehicles, it would be perfect. I would consider staying here again if I visit Shuishang Yadan in the future, and I hope the hotel continues to improve.

This hotel in Golmud was the best value for money we experienced during our week-long road trip in western China! 👍 The facilities and services are quite comprehensive and very clean. The front desk kindly upgraded us to a spacious deluxe room, which was very comfortable. 👍
Since the hotel's central air conditioning wasn't on yet, a thoughtful staff member brought a portable air cooler to our room. We didn't really need it at night; opening the window was more comfortable for sleeping.
The only slight disappointment was the water temperature for a bath. Although the room had a bathtub and even disposable bath liners, the water was a bit too cool. The shower temperature, however, was just right.
This hotel offers a wide variety of breakfast options – enough to fill you up and enjoy a good meal. Choosing this hotel in Golmud was definitely the right decision! 👍

Anonymous UserI found the perfect hotel experience right by Qinghai Lake 🌊. Staying at the Guanhu International Hotel, opening the window reveals stunning lake views with sparkling blue waters. The view from the third floor of the lobby is absolutely breathtaking! The room was spacious and comfortable, and having breakfast by the window truly jumpstarted my day☀️.
I especially want to thank 'Little ******* Fox Butler' 🦊 for their incredibly detailed and warm service. They arranged everything thoughtfully and provided many practical travel tips, making me feel truly at home. Both the facilities and service quality are top-notch. If you're visiting Qinghai Lake, choosing this place definitely won't disappoint! Best lake view hotel!

Guest UserI had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and well-designed, spotlessly clean, and completely odor-free. The bed was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and there was plenty of hot water, with all the essential amenities provided. The hotel staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly. The location is super convenient for transportation, yet the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. It’s definitely an excellent choice for a trip.
The hygiene was top-notch; there wasn't a speck of dust or dirt anywhere, and the room was well-ventilated with a comfortable temperature. The soundproofing was fantastic, making for a truly quiet night's rest. The facilities were excellent, with soft, pleasant lighting. The staff were responsive and friendly. This hotel offers much better value for money than others in its price range, and I would genuinely recommend it and definitely return.

Guest UserThis was by far the worst hotel we stayed at on our Qinghai-Gansu loop tour, completely lacking any sense of service. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and even the greeters, we felt no warmth and were met with cold faces almost everywhere. The room phone was always unreachable and there were no instructions on how to use it. I really don't understand how this hotel operates and is managed. No matter how grand its appearance, it'll be hard to attract repeat customers with service like that. Quite a disappointment.

KelejipaiCheck-in: The system was sluggish, and the front desk claimed the internet was down again.
Room: We booked for two adults and one child, but the pillows weren't adequately provided. The mini-fridge price list for drinks was on the minibar, but the mini-fridge was empty, so what's the point of the price list?
Bathroom: The liquid toiletries were of poor quality, yet they still branded them with the Sanyu logo. The hairdryer was a terrible choice.
Breakfast: A complete disaster! No one to seat guests, it was chaotic, and despite many staff members, they were all just milling around with extremely low efficiency. Breakfast hours were 7:00-10:00, and we went at 8:30. The food quality was poor, and the kitchen's on-site management was terrible. I asked for an omelet, and they flat-out said no, only fried eggs, with a firm and take-it-or-leave-it attitude! I was shocked. How did Trip.com select this hotel? How do they supervise and evaluate it? The milk quality was poor, there was no freshly squeezed juice, the coffee was bad, the desserts and bread had no variety and poor quality, and the yogurt wasn't refrigerated nor was it on ice…
Complaint Handling: I tried to find the F&B director at the restaurant, but it was the weekend, and he was off. No one in charge was willing to come out. I called Trip.com, who handled it professionally, and then I received a call back from a lobby manager who was clueless. I requested to speak with the hotel's duty manager, and the person who called back was a man responsible for the kitchen, which was fitting. He immediately asked how I wanted to resolve it, implying he wasn't really concerned. I listed out all the issues one by one, and he replied, 'Minor oversight.' Nothing was resolved.
Additional points: 1) Unused 'clean' linens and bathrobes were stored in the laundry cart. 2) When checking out at 11:35, there was no one at the front desk, only two concierges, who said everyone had gone for lunch. Excellent management! 👍

Guest UserWe booked a hotel apartment, and the space was incredibly generous – a 120-square-meter two-bedroom suite. The hotel staff thoughtfully provided plenty of bottled water and laundry detergent, and the room was equipped with a washing machine. The self-service breakfast was abundant and delicious! I highly recommend this apartment for families traveling with children and elderly members!
