The hotel is easily visible after crossing the pedestrian bridge from Sendai Station. There's a large Don Quijote duty-free shop right across the street. They offer complimentary afternoon tea and a happy hour, and the breakfast includes Sendai's famous beef tongue and fish cakes.

There are nice staff and wonderful equipment in this hotel. It’s my first time to stay here for three nights. A room offers comfortable twin beds. Soft and supportive mattress, clean bedding let me sleep comfortably. Considerate staff actives to offer services to me when it rains outside. All in all, hotel Keihan impressed me deeply, and I will come back undoubtedly!

Facilities: From the hotel lobby to the rooms, everything felt comfortable, elegant, and grand. Environment: It's a convenient 5-10 minute walk from Sendai Station, and there's a 7-Eleven right on the first floor. Plus, the famous Gyutan (beef tongue) restaurant, Zenjirou, is right next door. Sendai Morning Market is also just around the corner. Service: The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast service was top-notch.

Reception at 5 pm was efficient and I didn’t have to wait. Street level provides access to two lifts that take you to the second floor reception area. Wifi worked well and the air conditioning was good especially in the cold weather. Rooms are not huge but adequate size. I booked a larger room of which there are a few. House keeping was also good, though guests need to request daily services by placing a card on the room door otherwise daily service is not provided. The two lifts can be slow especially during busy times such as morning checking out. The location is good being about 15 minutes walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc. The hotel is five minutes walk to the covered main shopping mall-street which are common in Japan. There are major shopping malls in the central train station area. There are also many nearby restaurants that should suit most people’s budget and type of food. Beef tongue is a specialty in Sendai and many restaurants offer it at various prices. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30 minutes of the hotel such as temples and museums. Overall a pleasant stay and happy to visit again.

I had an excellent stay at Sendai Washington Hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, making for a very pleasant experience. Check-in was smooth and efficient, allowing us to settle in quickly. One feature I particularly appreciated was the bathroom, which offered both a separate shower area and a bathtub, giving guests the option of a quick shower or a relaxing soak after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would happily return. If there is one area for improvement, it would be the furnishings in the room. I would have preferred a proper work desk instead of the small coffee table provided, as it would have been more practical for guests who need a comfortable space to work, write, or organize their travel plans. The location was another highlight of our stay. The hotel is less than a five-minute walk from Sendai Station, making it extremely convenient for travellers. The area around the station offers a wide range of amenities, including restaurants, cafes, local markets, shopping malls, and the bus terminal. We also boarded the Loople Sendai sightseeing bus from the terminal, which was a great way to explore and get an overview of the city's main attractions.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, our room was a good size and it was so quiet at all times - no noise from neighbours or from the street. Really clean, TV with YouTube and Netflix was so good and the wifi worked seamlessly. Would thoroughly recommend and would happily stay again.

This hotel was an excellent choice, and I was honestly surprised that it was so affordable. The location is very convenient, right near Sendai Station, so it was easy to get there with suitcases. Check-in starts at 3 p.m., but if you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage or relax in the hotel. At 3 p.m., someone was playing the piano, and guests could enjoy drinks and snacks, including very tasty mochi. The room was spacious, and every centimeter was used thoughtfully. There were shelves, hangers, and everything we needed. Pajamas, slippers, and bath amenities were provided, and in addition to the usual items, there was also a facial care set. The public bath was another great feature, especially after a long day of walking. Washing machines and dryers were available on the same floor, which was very convenient. We tried the breakfast on one of the days, and it was definitely worth it. While we were eating, an organ was playing, which made the atmosphere even more special. I can only recommend this hotel and would be very happy to come back. Thank you very much!

The hotel's location is excellent. The reception is on the 4th floor of the building, which also houses the Shinkansen and JR stations. Inside the building, you'll find plenty of dining options, a supermarket, and shops. The surrounding area is bustling with even more shopping malls. It's incredibly convenient on a rainy day, as you can spend half the day exploring without even stepping outside. It's also super easy for train travel; just go downstairs, and you're there, saving time on commuting and waiting. The breakfast is also quite diverse.

I booked a non-smoking single room, and smoking was allowed in the downstairs parking lot. The environment was great for a solo stay. For breakfast, you might have to queue depending on the number of diners and the time, but the mapo tofu is truly excellent and a must-have in the morning. It's very close to Sendai Station, with plenty of dining options nearby and many convenience stores.

Great stay. Everything was great, self-check-in machine was very convenient and easy to use. I had actually left my luggage at the hotel before checking in. When I came back, my luggage was already waiting for me in my room. I was honestly so surprised by this service. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed. The room was compact, but the space was used very efficiently. There were two bottles of water provided, and there was storage space under the bed. The location isn’t very close to a JR station, but it’s surrounded by restaurants, and shopping street. I really loved this hotel and would definitely stay at a Mitsui hotel again!
