We had a wonderful stay at Hampton Hotel in Cusco. The staff were very friendly and hospitable, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. A special mention to Wilma, who went the extra mile to accommodate our request to change to a room with a queen bed instead of two standard beds—her helpfulness made a big difference.
The rooms are new, clean, and comfortable with fresh bedding, and the breakfast was very good. Overall, an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cusco.
The place is a hidden gem in Sacred Valley. If you get the chance to visit during Christmas you will love it. Yucay becomes the action point of the valley for 3 days you can enjoy a very festive experience with local traditions and masks. Location is great, near everything. Also the owner and all of the people there are so friendly, it gives you a nice family vibe when staying there. I will definitely come again when revisiting Sacred Valley:)
The room was good and the garden was beautiful, but it's a bit too far from the city center, which was time-consuming. If I had to choose again, I wouldn't stay here. A hotel in the city center with breakfast would definitely be better than this one. The room itself was still nice and quite spacious, though.
The hotel is very well located, and the restaurant is unbeatable. I didn't give it a 5/5 because I went for my birthday and wasn't given any gifts, even though I specified them at check-in.
Besides the location (5mins walk from train and restaurant’s) and quality of the rooms, the reason this is getting a 5 star review from me and my mates was the customer service.
The people working at the hotel - in particular Nathale and William - were absolutely wonderful. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received (I mean this literally). They went above and beyond to answer all our questions and helped us navigate train suspensions and protests (even offered us showers and a place to rest after climbing Machu Picchu, post check out).
They didn’t just respond to needs, they assessed and identified what would make us more comfortable and they delivered it proactively.
The reception staff was very helpful.
Although I had to check in at 11 a.m. I just wanted to stop my backpack because of my early flight. She immediately told me the room was free and I could go to my room. Even in tours he was very helpful! She has taken care of everything.
Big, clean room, good breakfast.
Excellent! I didn't take many photos, but I'll give you the lowdown! First off, to visit Machu Picchu, you need to stay a night in Aguas Calientes. The town is really tiny, so even though this hotel looks far from the station, it's actually just a 3-minute walk. After getting off the train, it's a short uphill stroll to reach it.
The hotel is 4-star, and the front desk service is great. They offer free hot water and tea bags, and there's an elevator and luggage storage service. The rooms are huge, and the beds for two people are almost queen-sized each.
Room amenities are complete: there's a fan, heater, and extra blankets.
Worth mentioning: the Wi-Fi works exceptionally well, perfect for smooth video calls; and the water pressure in the shower is fantastic, making for a really refreshing experience!
Sleeping at night with the sound of the river was like a soothing white noise that helped me drift off.
I missed breakfast because we left too early, but every single hotel staff member was incredibly warm, patient, and attentive. After returning from Machu Picchu, we just relaxed and charged our devices in the lobby until it was time to head back to the train station for Ollantaytambo.
The price is also very economical and affordable. All in all, it was a fantastic experience! 😘 I highly recommend it to everyone.
Overall a nice stay however we arrived late and there was nobody in the check in area. Took us a long time to check in as we had to wait in the dark

Great
GGuest UserVery good hotel, with a sense of history, good service, beautiful restaurant, with a sense of history, and delicious steak 😋 If I have the opportunity to visit Cusco in the future, I will stay in this hotel again
GGuest UserThe price is not high, there is a pick-up service, walking feels a bit far, although the town is not big, you can find the station near, walking in about two minutes is better, especially the luggage. Low altitude here

AAiaiaixiaoaioutdoorMy favorite hotel in South America for more than half a month, the service is very thoughtful, the room details are enough, and every employee is trained in place. The atmosphere of the hotel is very similar to the domestic Songzan, and this service is better. And this hotel is very delicious for breakfast or dinner. I will book this one later.
GGuest UserThe staff was very attentive. Because the tour we were participating in departed very early, the hotel provided a packed breakfast to take away. The breakfast was great with water, drinks and fruits. I really want to give it a thumbs up.

GGuest UserIt is a short walk from the Machu Picchu station and is convenient for eating and shopping. Unlike the hustle and bustle outside, you can feel at ease with a calm feeling from the time you enter the hotel hall. Check-in is smooth, meal information is easy to understand, and it tells you what you need in a short time, so you can rest assured with the impression of being used to it. The room is clean and comfortable with sufficient equipment. I think I will definitely book this hotel next time I come to Machu Picchu.
