CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

All we had to do was tell the front desk staff our departure time when checking in, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The room itself was very well-designed, with a clever wardrobe and thoughtful touches like hanging rods – little surprises everywhere! The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, and the cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. Overall, it offers great value for money.

GGuest UserThis place is super close to Chenghuang Temple and getting to the Bund is really convenient. They have two adorable cats – a Ragdoll girl and a Munchkin blue cat boy – who are both super friendly and not afraid of people. I stayed in a room on the third floor with a terrace, which had a really nice vibe. We arrived pretty early, and since the previous guest hadn't checked out yet, we just left our luggage at the front desk and went out exploring. In the afternoon, the staff (a lovely lady) helped put our bags in the room, and the key code was really convenient. She even recommended some delicious BBQ. Oh, and for breakfast, we chose the Western option; the bagel and meat were really tasty – I was full after just half a bagel!

The fully functioning fridge, complete with a refrigerator, semi-freezer, and freezer, was ready for use.

Originally, to facilitate my pet's medical treatment, I booked a newly opened Home Inn near Xinhua Hospital. However, the experience was truly awful – chaotic service, no parking, and the room wasn't ready even after an hour-long wait. Arriving past 8 PM, I still couldn't check in, so I reluctantly canceled the reservation.
Fortunately, I found Fraser Place Serviced Apartments at the last minute. Although a bit pricier, it exceeded all my expectations in every way:
✅ Convenient Location: Less than three kilometers from Xinhua Hospital, making it easy to get there by taxi or car.
✅ Pet-Friendly: Allows small dogs, which is fantastic for families traveling with pets.
✅ Free Parking: The hotel has its own parking lot, and you just register your license plate for free parking during your stay – very convenient.
✅ Well-Equipped: Rooms come with a washing machine, microwave, range hood, etc., making it suitable for both short and long stays, feeling just like home.
✅ Excellent Service: Even checking in after 10 PM, the front desk was quick to respond and professional, a world apart from my previous experience at Home Inn.
This experience truly made me realize that when choosing a hotel, you can't just look at proximity and how new it is; service and amenities are key. If you're also traveling with a pet for medical treatment or need a long-term stay, I highly recommend this place. Spending a little extra is worth the peace of mind and convenience.
Recommended for: Families with pets, medical escorts, medium to long-term stays, and self-driving travelers who need parking.

The entire place boasts a traditional Chinese garden style, with stunning scenery at every turn and winding paths that lead to charming spots. Even the decor in the hallways is full of character. Staying here feels like being in a scenic attraction itself, so there's no need to go out of your way to visit other sights.
I absolutely have to commend the front desk service. The staff were all incredibly polite, with warm and genuine smiles. We arrived a bit late, and they thoughtfully prepared hot porridge for us. Seeing that we had children, they proactively upgraded our room type and even gave us detailed recommendations for good restaurants nearby. When I left a small item at the front desk, a staff member went out of their way to deliver it to our room – truly thoughtful service!
Our stay was a perfect 10/10. Beautiful scenery, excellent service, and fantastic value for money. I've already recommended it to all my friends!

I used it to rest during transit, and it seems you'll be staying on a cot in the aisle. Naturally, there will be a lot of people passing by.
