The front desk even recommended some local specialties, which was a shame because I was on a tight schedule and didn't get to try many of them. There's also staff on the first floor to provide guidance, so the service is quite thoughtful. The front desk staff are very professional and responsive to any needs."

"Cui Gu Qing She was the most comfortable stay I had during my trip to Wanfenglin. Opening the window revealed a vast expanse of peaks and forests. The hydrangeas in the courtyard were in full bloom, their pink and orange hues contrasting beautifully with the dark green mountains behind them – a scene perfect for a quick social media post. The room was clean and tidy, and I could see the mountains from the window while lying in bed. Waking up to this view every morning was incredibly relaxing. The owner was very kind and proactively recommended good places to eat and have fun nearby. For anyone planning a trip to Wanfenglin, this is definitely the place to stay!"

(The other female concierges were also very nice.) (Muyun even upgraded us to a room on a higher floor with a better view and thoughtfully arranged refreshments.) Dining Experience: We enjoyed the chicken soup and dry-pot mushrooms for dinner, both of which were incredibly flavorful! In summary, Xingyi Muyun Homestay, with its prime location, comprehensive facilities, and excellent service, is the perfect choice for a trip to Xingyi. "Service: The service was excellent. As soon as we got off the bus, the owner and her friend warmly helped with our luggage and introduced the room beforehand. They eventually arranged for us to stay on the 3rd floor. The room was large with tatami mats, perfect for enjoying tea. They also enthusiastically provided local travel tips and information about electric scooter rentals to avoid the high cost. They also recommended some local delicacies, which was very helpful. The most heartwarming thing was that during the Spring Festival, the owner made a homemade pork knuckle hot pot and invited us to eat with them. Although we didn't go, we were touched by their hospitality – it felt like home. Cleanliness: The room was very clean. The sheets, blankets, and mattress were all very comfortable, making for a good night's sleep. The bathtub in the room was also very nice. Environment: Crucially, the environment was also excellent. There was a large courtyard on the first floor, suitable for playing mahjong, sunbathing, and it seemed like a barbecue area. There was also a rooftop swimming pool, which looked fantastic, even though we didn't use it. Facilities: Very good. A small suggestion: the curtains are a bit poor as they don't block out much light."

"Very poor accommodation experience I booked a large room of 45 square meters, but there was no light on the balcony. The bathtub leaked, the floor was covered with water, and the cups became damp. They moved us to a small room, but it turned out that the house was not soundproof. The room next door came back at 23 o'clock to wash up, blow dry our hair, and chat...it made us unable to sleep. After getting up in the morning, when I was washing my hair, there was a power outage. It was full of bubbles but there was no electricity or water. I couldn't find a waiter at the front desk. I found an employee in the kitchen cooking porridge and told me that there was no hot water... After the embarrassing treatment, I went out to eat and came back to brush my teeth. All the basins and shower rooms were filled with black water... It was extremely disgusting. Call the waiter and tell them that this is what happened after the power outage, because they are using underground water. It's such a black-hearted shop, and they still charge 500+ for a night's room. Isn't there a public servant to take care of it? I hope friends who read my comments will not be fooled."

"We booked Cui Gu Qing She in Wanfenglin and were very satisfied with our stay. There's a large courtyard on the first floor with parasols, rattan chairs, and a long table. The owner has a yard full of flowers, especially hydrangeas in full bloom—a huge clump of pink and purple—interspersed with banana trees and potted plants. Looking up, you can see the mountains of Wanfenglin. It was very pleasant to sit in the courtyard and enjoy the breeze in the evening. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything we needed was there. The owner was very kind and proactively recommended good places to eat and have fun nearby. If you're visiting Wanfenglin, this is definitely the place to stay—highly recommended!"

"Southwest International Hotel is probably one of the top five-star hotels in Qianxinan Prefecture. Compared to the other two five-star hotels, this one actually feels like a five-star. The other two are so run-down and shabby, they barely deserve three stars. The rooms here have high ceilings, are very clean and tidy, with new facilities and beautiful decor. You can even watch the sunrise in the morning! Both the hotel lobby and the staff are excellent. It's a shame I only booked one night; I tried to extend my stay but they were fully booked. Also, there are too few washing machines and dryers in the hotel; I waited in line until 11:30 last night and still didn't get a turn."

Given it's a guesthouse, the basic cleanliness and tidiness were acceptable. What was unacceptable was the poor ventilation and constant strong smell of smoke 🚬 (either the smell of incense or cigarette smoke), which greatly disturbed my sleep. The only way to get fresh air was to go to Wanfenglin! I hope the owner can improve ventilation or smoking control measures to provide a fresh environment for all guests."
