This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish.
The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture!
The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant!

LLiwoyangCame to Wanfenglin for a visit, and it was quite an experience!
**Facilities:** The whole courtyard is unique, small but exquisite, perfect for taking photos.
**Hygiene:** The room's cleanliness was pretty good. The room itself isn't large, but it has everything you need, full of character. I think we got a free upgrade, as the room type included a small balcony, and opening the window revealed a stunning view of the rape flower fields.
**Environment:** The only slight downside was the outdoor private hot spring; the water quality felt a bit average, with some bugs and floating debris.
**Service:** The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helped with our luggage.

Hygiene: I have stayed in many B&Bs, and Fengxi really can’t fault it. The items provided in the room are free and can be taken away, including minibar, milk and large bottles of mineral water.
Environment: There is a parking lot at the door. There are two delicious restaurants nearby. There is an electric car rental and a small supermarket next to it. It is also very close to Fried Rice Street. It costs five yuan to take a taxi. You can also walk directly to the sightseeing lane and take a sightseeing tour. When we were in the car, we told the driver that we could get off at Fengxi and walk back to the hotel. Especially convenient.
Scenery: I have to admire Fengxi’s location selection. Living on the third floor, looking out looks like a painting! There is also a public terrace on the third floor. Even if your room is below, you can take photos on the third floor public terrace. It is really photogenic!
Service: We have a lot of luggage. When we arrived at Fengxi, two lovely ladies helped us carry four large suitcases up. We asked for help, but the ladies said nothing and ran away with the suitcases, including the housekeeper. (I forgot to ask my name, and he was polite and polite with glasses). No matter what needs or questions we had, he would help answer them in detail. He recommended several photo spots in the scenic spots to me. They are all beautiful. Thank you very much. In short, the service is great. Really considerate!
Breakfast: Although there are not many varieties, it tastes good and is clean. The service staff of the B&B also ate with us.
I’ll stay in Fengxi next time I come!

NNuan0127This cave hotel is absolutely stunning, nestled deep in the mountains, with incredibly unique and beautiful decor.
The staff here are so welcoming. A big thanks to Xiao Xu for helping with my luggage, and to sisters Xiao Hui and Xiao Du for taking such fantastic photos that really captured the moment and gave me lasting memories.
Just a small suggestion: the hotel should really consider providing a shuttle service for non-driving guests to and from Hongchun Pier or other nearby locations, as transportation in this area is quite inconvenient. While I'm grateful the hotel arranged for the fish restaurant owner to give us free rides to and from the pier, I really think the hotel should have its own dedicated shuttle service for guests without cars to help them get around.

I can honestly say that Fenglin Diaojiaolou is the best hotel I've ever stayed in, both in terms of cleanliness and overall environment. I'm a bit of a germaphobe, and my standards for hotels are extremely high whenever I travel. Finding a suitable hotel is always the biggest headache, as I spend ages comparing options in my chosen area. Anyone with similar cleanliness standards will understand my struggle! From the initial inquiry to check-in, the Diaojiaolou staff were incredibly thorough and patient, helping me choose the perfect room. They genuinely went above and beyond to accommodate us. We booked three hotels for this trip, and honestly, the 3000+ yuan we spent here felt completely worth it. Since it's located within the scenic area, admission tickets are free. After booking, the butler immediately contacted us, arranged pick-up from the visitor center, and handled our luggage. The service was exceptional. We go through a lot of toilet paper because I don't use hotel towels, and whenever we made a request, they'd be there within 5 minutes, always incredibly polite. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. Being in the scenic area, you have the option to choose from three different dining places, which was absolutely fantastic. All in all, choosing Diaojiaolou was, in my opinion, the best hotel stay I've had in years. Below are some pictures of the amazing view from my room.

📍Location: Located in Zhongnahui Village, the heart of the scenic area, super close to the Bagua Field and rapeseed fields. The rice paddies are right outside your door, and some rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows offering direct views of the countryside – perfect for photos!📸 It's incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep.
The village has a lively market day every day, which we happened to attend. The streets are lined with local snacks, fresh fruits and vegetables, and handicrafts – a vibrant and lively atmosphere that's wonderful to explore. We even found some interesting little souvenirs.
💁Service: Absolutely fantastic! The owner and staff were incredibly warm and attentive, proactively recommending off-the-beaten-path attractions and restaurants. They even arranged transportation, making it super convenient to explore the village. The butler-style service was incredibly thoughtful; they prepared our room in advance and even helped send away any lost clothing – such thoughtful details! The owner also recommended a rice paddy fishing experience, which the kids had a blast with!
🏠Environment: The place is clean and tidy overall, the bedding is comfortable, and the surrounding amenities are excellent, with parking, cafes, and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for getting around and relaxing. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

I chose Xingyi to take my child on a trip during the college entrance examination holiday. I stayed in a hotel in the city for the first two days, and arranged to stay in a homestay in Wanfenglin Scenic Area for the next two days. I booked this Fengsan in advance, mainly because it can be cancelled for free. I didn't expect that after the housekeeper contacted me on the day of check-in, he kept explaining that he hadn't contacted me. Maybe I rejected the strange call as a harassing call. The housekeeper wanted to arrange a pick-up. That night, we gave a very sweet apple and a local fat banana as welcome fruit. My family liked it very much and wanted to know where to buy it. I didn't expect that the housekeeper not only informed the location of the fruit shop in time, but also gave several more. Very considerate.
The small infinity pool of this homestay is at a commanding height. It feels great to be able to swim and enjoy the scenery. The breakfast is very homely, and there is sweet soup in the evening. When it rains outside, an umbrella will be quietly placed at the door, and you will feel warm when you open the door. On the last day, we arranged to send you to the airport, and the driver was also very nice. The whole stay was impeccable.

It is said that the hotel has hundreds of thousands of Cuban cigars and whiskeys, but there is no menu. The waiter called on the spot to get a wine list that is not like a four-in-one. It is recommended that the owner check the inventory. It is estimated that it is all loss). At the same time, there is no charging pile in the parking lot of this level of hotel, and you have to go to the town to charge... This service quality is in stark contrast to the facilities. It is recommended that those who take children and parents travel should go early while the hotel is new. It is still quite good. CChi May GaliaThis is a surprising homestay with a unique design. It is located on a high ground and has rapeseed fields as your sleeping curtain. We drove and parking was convenient. Thank you to the store manager for helping with the luggage and recommending nearby food. We also had the opportunity to chat with the store owner and buy some exquisite ethnic clothing from the boss lady. It was very rewarding. I was very satisfied with the four nights' stay and will definitely stay here again if I have the chance to visit Wanfenglin again in the future.

The staff were warm and professional throughout, patiently guiding me during check-in and responding to my requests within 10 minutes, maintaining a consistently friendly and attentive attitude. The hotel's location is truly the ”gateway to Wanfenglin,” situated on Fenglin North Road, extremely close to the South Gate of Wanfenglin. Multiple bus lines, including routes 6 and 11, provide direct access to the scenic area, and there are 300 free parking spaces available for those driving. A large supermarket is downstairs, and the surrounding area is full of local delicacies, offering a one-stop shop for dining, entertainment, and shopping. It's also only a 10-minute drive from the airport, and advance booking allows for airport pick-up service. Whether you're a tourist drawn by the beauty of Wanfenglin or a business traveler, this hotel is a perfect fit. Comfortable, convenient, and heartwarming, I've already added it to my must-stay list for my next trip to Xingyi and highly recommend it to everyone planning a visit to Wanfenglin!
