I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! This is a very comfortable and stylish guesthouse. The room window offers a view of the rolling mountains. The two young staff members at the front desk, both surnamed Dai, were very friendly and helpful, happy to assist us with any problems and arrange our itinerary. They arranged for us to rent electric scooters and kindly introduced us to local attractions and restaurants. They even helped us find a place to visit Huangguoshu Waterfall. One of the youngest staff members, who wasn't wearing glasses, even taught me how to do tie-dye. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious; every morning, the chef, Xiao Wu, would kindly ask me what I wanted to eat. The room was very comfortable, very clean, and beautifully decorated, especially the tie-dye decorations and curtains. Everyone's service was excellent. Highly recommended. Highly recommended this guesthouse. The room has magnificent view of Wangfenglin range of mountain, it is tastefully designed, clean and comfortable room. The front desk (both Xiao Dai) are very helpful, helping us arranging our trip, transportation etc. it is also very convenient to visit other attraction area and shops and restaurants. The breakfast is also very delicious, every morning the chef Xiao Wu will greet me and ask me what would i like and bring me the breakfast, you can have your breakfast at the beautiful dining area at the back or the veranda in the garden.

This was the most pleasant surprise hotel on our trip to Qianxinan. Room 02 offers an absolutely stunning view. Waking up to the motorized curtains slowly opening, revealing the surrounded mountains of Wanfeng Lake outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, was like a vibrant landscape painting. I've stayed in many sea view and mountain view rooms, but this scene of mountains encircling and a turquoise lake partially visible is truly one-of-a-kind. Additionally, although there weren't many staff members, the two young ladies at the front desk provided service that was as meticulous and thoughtful as any five-star hotel. Our entire stay was very enjoyable. Finally, I have to commend the owner of Fengxi for their incredible vision in securing such a prime location – truly impressive! 👍

A truly excellent guesthouse with exceptional service. The staff contacted us in advance and added us on WeChat. They even helped with our luggage at the parking lot below the guesthouse. Our itinerary included only one night in Wanfenglin, and after just one night, we regretted not staying longer. Doing absolutely nothing but enjoying the mountain breeze and the sounds of insects was incredibly pleasant. All the staff were warm and attentive. The owner even gave us plenty of local loquat juice—it was so sweet and delicious! The Fengxi chain Western restaurant had a fantastic ambiance right next to the Bagua Field; I felt like I could sit there for an entire afternoon. The hospitable people of Guizhou and the beautiful, unique scenery added to the city's charm, making me want to visit again.

I love this place so much that a part of me wants to gatekeep this hidden gem. Fanzhu梵住 is a beautifully curated boutique hotel that delivers outstanding hospitality. I initially booked a 5-day stay but loved it so much that I extended for an extra day, willingly sacrificing my next destination. I was initially worried the hotel might be a ”pretty façade.” Fortunately, Fanzhu met all my needs of functionality and comfort (Breakfast, Air Conditioning, an excellent shower, free self-service laundry, an ideal location). The property is far from perfection, but it overcompensates with simple, heartfelt sincerity. You can feel the tremendous thought and effort poured into this place to make guests feel comfortable. ✨ Highlights, Who Will Love This Place: ✅#English-Speaking Travellers: For foreigners unfamiliar with China, it is extremely helpful that the owner is fluent in English. ✅#Design & Aesthetics: Warm & modern. The property exudes zen-like comfort with charming decors. It has a gorgeous yard, with swimming pool, and ample outdoor seatings. ✅#Remote workers: I didn’t plan to work on this trip, but I could see myself working there remotely. If you come from the city where every building looks like a boxy Lego piece, you will deeply appreciate this place. ✅#Personalized Service: Kudos to the young lady boss! In a place like Wanfenglin where the location pins and 导航 can be vague to foreigners, sh took the time to understand my itinerary, how I planned my routes around Wanfenglin. She gave recommendations, and helped me check my “Destination” input on car hiring app. Airport and railway station pickups can also be arranged easily too. ✅#Immaculate Rooms: THE BED! Oh my, the bed! The linens, pillows, and towels are all premium quality. Even the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash feel luxurious. The bed is so comfortable that I would return just for a sleep-in holiday. Ok I know I’m mentioning the bed twice but it’s worth mentioning thrice. Extra points from me that the rooms are non-smoking. ✅#Location: Before arriving, I read a review describing this place as ”a piece of tranquillity close to the action”. Now I get it. It sits as an independent building on a peaceful road/hill(?), yet it is a short, easy walk to the Bagua fields and Zhong Nahui, where you can find idyllic cafes, little shops, and children playing in the fields. ✅#Breakfast: Delicious local-flavoured noodles!They also offer more conservative standards like toasts, eggs, and coffee. Oh, the hotel has an ice machine! Ooooohh so sexy in the hot weather (apparently ice cubes are rare in Wanfenglin). ✅#The Resident Pets: As a pet lover who willingly pays to visit cat cafes, having resident dog and cats sealed the deal for me. ✅#BONUS TIP: The Rooftop Night Sky. Unassuming and rugged at first glance, I was initially unimpressed. But I heard good reviews from others, so I gave it another go, and am thankful I did! Stay awhile, allow your eyes some time to adjust in the darkness, and you would see the sky completely transforms. On my last night, I saw a shooting star! I kid you not. It was an absolutely unbelievable, unforgettable moment. Incredibly awesome! ⚠️ Considerations Before You Book (Who should avoid): - If you love standard chain hotels. Fanzhu is intimate enough to offer personalized service. But I can imagine some of my more pampered friends who prefer international breakfast buffet spread would struggle to settle for this simplicity. Some things are just not realistic expectations off a boutique. - Mobility needs: There is no elevator. They would graciously carry your suitcases. However, elderly may want to enquire about ground-floor room. - In the midst of nature: If you have zero tolerance for insects, you may want to skip staying in Wanfenglin. It is a humid, lush environment surrounded by fields and trees. Personally, with a body spray of insect repellent, I wasn't bothered at all. - Pet allergies: If you hate pets (but why would you? :( w

This was the only B&B we stayed at for two nights on this trip, and it was absolutely fantastic! First off, the design of the B&B was really interesting. It's built right into the mountain, so when you open your window, you're greeted with a beautiful view. Secondly, the hotel is located right inside the scenic area, which was incredibly convenient. Other cars could only park on the main road, but I was able to drive right into the scenic area's parking lot! And while everyone else was queuing for the scenic shuttle bus, my butler came to pick me up in the B&B's private car. Who understands that feeling of VIP treatment? Finally, the staff were so incredibly enthusiastic. They helped us carry our luggage all the way. Seriously, if you needed anything at all, you just had to ask. Next time I visit, I'm definitely staying here again!!

The hotel's facilities and environment were excellent, meeting five-star standards. After breakfast, strolling around the grounds and soaking in the hot springs was very relaxing. However, the breakfast and cleanliness were just average; the floor tiles didn't look very clean, and while the breakfast looked plentiful, there wasn't much to eat. The overall service was poor, mainly due to staff shortages. We had booked a tour bus, and they kept saying it was almost there, but it never arrived. After waiting for over 40 minutes, we had to yell at the front desk, and finally they said the bus had gone to refuel… Out of desperation, we questioned the front desk whether, if this caused delays to our entire trip, we would also be given a delayed check-out, just like with service delays. Immediately, a staff member drove us around themselves… This service is something for others to judge 😂. Speaking of check-out, we handed our room keys to the front desk and left around 11:00 AM, but the staff called us again at 2:30 PM to ask if we wanted to extend our stay, saying we hadn't checked out…

This is a guesthouse located in a picturesque scenic area. The yard is planted with beautiful bougainvillea, making it lovely and comfortable, and there's also a cute and well-behaved kitten. The female boss was warm, friendly and kind. We met by chance during an evening walk, and she accompanied me on walks in the countryside at dusk for two consecutive days. I was very grateful for her hospitality. Her staff are all dedicated and friendly; they'll readily help if you need anything. I highly recommend this guesthouse.

Yunqi Smart Hotel is located in the core business district of Jushan, adjacent to Mengle City and a food street. Various markets are right downstairs, making dining and shopping extremely convenient. It's about a ten-minute drive to Wanfenglin and Malinghe Canyon, making travel easy. The hotel features fully intelligent systems, including facial recognition check-in. Lights, curtains, and air conditioning can all be controlled by voice, giving it a high-tech feel. The rooms are clean and spacious, with separate wet and dry areas in the bathrooms, and the bedding is reasonably comfortable. The breakfast offers a variety of options to meet daily needs, and a free airport shuttle service is also provided, making it suitable for self-driving tourists and families.

I can only say I'm extremely satisfied; I can't find a single fault! I came here specifically for outdoor activities. Booking a guesthouse in Wanfenglin is a real matter of luck, with all sorts of options available. I was very fortunate to find this one through a blind box, and I'm very happy with it. Environment: The environment, the furnishings, everything is excellent, stylishly designed, and very clean. They have many rooms ranging from low to high floors; I recommend staying in a higher-floor room. The breakfast was also delicious. Even without going out, the hotel itself is a great spot for taking photos! Service: The service was impeccable. They contacted me before I arrived to offer to pick me up and help with my luggage.
