Mountain view Hotels in Xingyi

I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! This guesthouse I stayed at on this trip was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, not a speck of dust, showing meticulous attention to detail; the bedding was soft and comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly every night; and the service was impeccable. The auntie who checked me in was incredibly warm and attentive, responding quickly to all my reasonable requests during my stay, which made me feel truly welcome! Plus, the price was affordable, offering exceptional value for money, standing out from other guesthouses in the same price range. This stay was wonderful, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Wanfenglin!

I picked this B&B at random, and it turned out to be the biggest surprise of my Xingyi trip! As soon as I walked into the room, I saw the stunning, staggered peaks – every photo I took looked like it was professionally shot. The room details were very thoughtful; the toiletries were comprehensive, and they even provided small packets of laundry detergent. The B&B also has an infinity pool built halfway up the mountain, with a tea ceremony setup next to it. Brewing a pot of tea in the afternoon there was simply delightful. The front desk staff was also incredibly helpful, recommending hidden gems and local home-style restaurants, helping me avoid overpriced tourist traps. I've already recommended it to my friends!

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, accessible through the village, making it quieter than other guesthouses in the village. The rooms aren't very big, but the amenities and facilities are very comfortable. The heated clothesline is a thoughtful touch for this season. The cloth slippers provided by all Fengxi guesthouses are incredibly comfortable, and the felt tote bag is very practical for storing odds and ends in the car during long trips!

Traveling from Heilongjiang to Kunming, we made a stop at Fenglin Buyi Scenic Area and decided to stay overnight in the village. Since I was traveling with a 3-year-old, staying in the village allowed us more time to explore, which was very convenient. After careful consideration, I chose this hotel, and it turned out to be the right decision! First, upon seeing my little one, the front desk manager immediately upgraded us to a king-sized bed room and arranged for a dedicated shuttle cart. We also received complimentary fruits and snacks. Despite being in a village, the amenities were surprisingly high-end. This was by far the best treatment we've received at a B&B throughout our trip. The room was also very clean. We were given breakfast coupons for a wonderful buffet, and even offered traditional Miao clothing to try on. All in all, it was a trip that truly exceeded expectations. The money spent on this accommodation was well worth it! The scenery in the area is incredibly beautiful, and the air in the morning was exceptionally fresh. Thank you to the owner, and I wish you a prosperous business! This is my first time writing such a detailed review, I swear, haha. The experience was fantastic!

The hotel's facilities and environment were excellent, meeting five-star standards. After breakfast, strolling around the grounds and soaking in the hot springs was very relaxing. However, the breakfast and cleanliness were just average; the floor tiles didn't look very clean, and while the breakfast looked plentiful, there wasn't much to eat. The overall service was poor, mainly due to staff shortages. We had booked a tour bus, and they kept saying it was almost there, but it never arrived. After waiting for over 40 minutes, we had to yell at the front desk, and finally they said the bus had gone to refuel… Out of desperation, we questioned the front desk whether, if this caused delays to our entire trip, we would also be given a delayed check-out, just like with service delays. Immediately, a staff member drove us around themselves… This service is something for others to judge 😂. Speaking of check-out, we handed our room keys to the front desk and left around 11:00 AM, but the staff called us again at 2:30 PM to ask if we wanted to extend our stay, saying we hadn't checked out…

This hotel is in the city center, and the facilities are quite new. The lobby is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. It's surrounded by a commercial district. I especially want to praise the young ladies at the front desk; their service attitude was excellent. They were very attentive and helpful to us seniors, always ready to answer any questions. I'm very satisfied and they deserve commendation.

I had the most wonderful stay at the hotel run by Rose, who among others is an English teacher! From the moment we arrived, the location completely stole our hearts — nestled perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the mountains right from our room window. Waking up to that stunning scenery every morning was a dream come true. But what truly set this experience apart was Rose’s incredible care and attention. When we unexpectedly got sick during our stay, Rose went above and beyond to assist us with kindness and genuine concern. She made sure we had everything we needed, from medical advice to thoughtful comfort measures, making us feel safe and supported far beyond what we expected. If you’re looking for a place that combines an unbeatable location, glorious mountain views, and heartfelt hospitality, this hotel run by Rose is absolutely the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to transportation, and there are many unique local eateries nearby. It's also very close to the museum. The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk arranged a high-floor room for me, which offered great views. I didn't notice it at check-in, but later realized that the complimentary fruit plate for the first day wasn't delivered. This is something that needs improvement.

The inn is located in the scenic area, on the side of the road, built against the mountain, with birds singing and cicadas chirping. If the weather is good, you can watch the sunrise🌅 while sitting in the small courtyard. The room is very spacious. The inn also has bicycles. The rice fields and seedlings are green at the end of June. The blue sky and white clouds are very beautiful, and the temperature is very comfortable. The boss’s service was very good. He also sent us to the bus location. I will bother him next time when we go there😁
