4-Star Hotels in Xingyi

I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! I picked this B&B at random, and it turned out to be the biggest surprise of my Xingyi trip! As soon as I walked into the room, I saw the stunning, staggered peaks – every photo I took looked like it was professionally shot. The room details were very thoughtful; the toiletries were comprehensive, and they even provided small packets of laundry detergent. The B&B also has an infinity pool built halfway up the mountain, with a tea ceremony setup next to it. Brewing a pot of tea in the afternoon there was simply delightful. The front desk staff was also incredibly helpful, recommending hidden gems and local home-style restaurants, helping me avoid overpriced tourist traps. I've already recommended it to my friends!

Whenever I travel, I always look for Atour hotels, so I was quite happy to find one in Xingyi. The room was comfortable, and overall it was a good stay. I've always felt that Atour's hygiene is pretty good, but I do have a small suggestion: the showerhead in my room's bathroom had noticeable limescale. I'd recommend regular cleaning or replacement, or perhaps using a fixed overhead shower (that's why I ended up washing my hair in the sink, haha).

The guesthouse was clean and tidy, and the owner was very kind. He pointed us to the location before we arrived, helped with our luggage, and showed us the parking lot. The guesthouse is located in Xia Nahui, which is quieter and offers better views compared to Shang Nahui and Zhong Nahui. There are many restaurants within a five-minute walk, making it convenient to go to the market on Monday mornings. There's a beautiful swimming pool, probably the largest for a guesthouse in Wanfenglin. The owner provided paddleboards, and the children never wanted to get out of the pool. In the adjacent small garden, there were three peacocks; we later discovered that the guesthouse's logo is a peacock spreading its tail feathers. The plants in the garden also showed that the owner had carefully selected, arranged, and maintained them. The guesthouse's breakfast was excellent, especially the rice noodles, which were delicious. My child could easily finish a whole bowl. Besides rice noodles, they also offered different small dishes each day, which was very satisfying.

Rainy days to Wanfenglin, originally did not have any expectations, the result is a big eye-opening, open the door is the white mist of the peak forest, simply beautiful. It happened that I was the first online guest to open this homestay. The boss began to renovate in November last year. After renovating in April, it took a whole three months to polish the details. The swimming pool in his yard is more beautiful than the net map. It is very popular to shoot any film. The bathrooms are all big names and comfortable to use. Jin Keer mattress with zero pressure pillows, sleep well until dawn, sleep texture is directly full 😴 The service really didn't have to say, the proper butler treatment. I took the initiative to contact the day before check-in, asking if I need to pick up the plane, and all the routes, food, drink and fun strategies were sent in advance. The housekeeper also specially ran to the local farmers' homes to buy welcome fresh fruits, which were freshly picked, fresh and sweet, and tasted particularly good. I don’t have to take my luggage at the store. I am enthusiastic to help deliver it to the room. The experience is super good. Health is really not to pick, the rooms, all public areas of the yard are clean, even the kitchen is neatly cleaned. The homestay is built at the highest point of the stockade. Looking at the Baguatian and Dashun Peak, it is quiet and especially healing at night. The only thing is that there is a small uphill. Fortunately, there are parking spaces up and down. It is not troublesome to drive at all. This trip was too rushed, and I didn't stay enough in a hurry. I must take the time to stay for a few more days and enjoy the pleasant time in the mountains quietly.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, accessible through the village, making it quieter than other guesthouses in the village. The rooms aren't very big, but the amenities and facilities are very comfortable. The heated clothesline is a thoughtful touch for this season. The cloth slippers provided by all Fengxi guesthouses are incredibly comfortable, and the felt tote bag is very practical for storing odds and ends in the car during long trips!

This trip was so rushed that I arrived at the hotel late at night with my luggage, and I was worried I'd have to make do for one night. But to my surprise, the owner greeted me with a smile as soon as I entered, holding a freshly brewed cup of hot tea. His words, ”You must be tired, come in and rest. Where are you from?” instantly melted away all the fatigue from my late-night journey. The room had central air conditioning, and the bed was made impeccably. Even the pillow height was thoughtfully considered without me having to say a word—it was such a pleasant surprise. The next morning, I have to rave about the breakfast! The variety was dazzling—hot, freshly made dishes, fresh fruit, and delicate snacks. After eating, I felt completely energized, and even the flavors were tailored to my preferences. I especially loved their plain noodles. The view from the room was absolutely stunning! Just open the window and you'd see the Wanfeng Forest across the street. The mountain scenery, with its layered peaks unfolding like an ink painting, is breathtaking. Mornings are shrouded in mist, and evenings are bathed in the glow of the setting sun. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the view, time seems to slow down. The toiletries in the room were also incredibly thoughtful; the high-end brand scent was fresh and not overpowering, and the texture was exquisite. I even shamelessly asked the owner for an extra set to take on my next trip. The high-end facilities were absolutely fantastic. The bedding was soft and plush, and the bathroom was impeccably clean with a separate shower and toilet. It was a truly comfortable stay. This thoughtful touch upon checking in late at night, combined with the wonderful experience during the day, has already made me secretly plan my next trip. This amazing guesthouse is a must-visit! I sincerely wish the owner great success in their business, and that this wonderful place deserves to be discovered by more people! ❤️

Staying in a Buyi stilt house, the view outside the window was breathtaking – an endless expanse of karst peaks and the ancient nine-story pagoda, like a living, breathing ink wash painting. The room facilities were exquisitely designed, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. The butler not only provided pick-up and drop-off services but also enthusiastically shared local travel tips, making us feel right at home. In the evening, we could just head downstairs to watch the intangible cultural heritage of iron flower performance, offering an immersive experience of the Buyi culture and its vibrant energy. It was a truly healing and unforgettable time.

The best thing about the place is the location. You can walk to the fields and easily drive anywhere you need to go in the area. The car park only fits six cars. The decor makes the rooms seem run down. Bugs can come in through the cracks of the front doors. There’s no soundproofing and heard someone talking very loudly for a long time, as if lecturing two children, when I wanted to rest. Breakfast was terrible, with some dishes not tasting good and guests having to find staff to ask for refills. No water provided at breakfast. The accommodation calls itself a resort but no welcome gift was provided and the spa wasn’t working, both of which were advertised when we booked.

From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the enthusiasm of the staff. When checking in at the front desk, the room type was upgraded for free. The staff was not only very efficient, but also gave a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and the surrounding fun places, which made people feel instantly at home in this strange city💕 During my stay at the hotel, the service was even more meticulous. For example, I had special requirements for the lighting brightness in the room, and the staff quickly arranged for someone to come and adjust it. It was really thoughtful.
