4-Star Hotels in Xingyi

I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! I found my ideal B&B in Wanfenglin! My husband and I stayed here over Chinese New Year and couldn't stop thinking about it, saying we'd come back if we had the chance! Didn't expect to be back for a second time so soon, haha. Last time, the rapeseed flowers were everywhere; this time, even though there aren't any, it still has a unique charm. First, facilities: The room's floor-to-ceiling windows face Wanfenglin directly. The moment you open the curtains in the morning, the mountains are right there – so therapeutic. The bedding is also very comfortable. Last time I asked the owner for a link, but they told me it's all custom-made! The bathroom is equipped with a Dyson hairdryer, Bulgari toiletries, disposable bath towels, hair drying caps, bath balls, pajamas, underwear, and even the toothbrushes are soft-bristled – excellent attention to detail. On the table, there were seasonal fruits and a bottle of red wine, all complimentary. Soaking in the tub with a drink at night was simply divine. Next, cleanliness: The entire B&B is spotless, from the lobby to the rooms, every corner is clean and tidy. The carpets are thoroughly vacuumed, there are no water stains or hair in the bathroom, and the bed sheets and duvet covers have no peculiar smell. It feels very reassuring to stay here. Finally, service: The butler is very attentive. They messaged me beforehand to ask what time I'd arrive and if I wanted the air conditioning turned on in advance. When we got to the parking lot, the butler came to help with our luggage and escorted us all the way to our room. The breakfast is also very thoughtfully prepared; their rice noodles are absolutely amazing! So delicious! There's also milk, bread, and fruit – a very satisfying meal. They even gave us coffee vouchers, which is fantastic for a coffee lover like me! I didn't expect to find such good coffee in a scenic area! In short, I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Wanfenglin. Highly recommended!

This was the most pleasant surprise hotel on our trip to Qianxinan. Room 02 offers an absolutely stunning view. Waking up to the motorized curtains slowly opening, revealing the surrounded mountains of Wanfeng Lake outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, was like a vibrant landscape painting. I've stayed in many sea view and mountain view rooms, but this scene of mountains encircling and a turquoise lake partially visible is truly one-of-a-kind. Additionally, although there weren't many staff members, the two young ladies at the front desk provided service that was as meticulous and thoughtful as any five-star hotel. Our entire stay was very enjoyable. Finally, I have to commend the owner of Fengxi for their incredible vision in securing such a prime location – truly impressive! 👍

這次來萬峯林入住體驗真的超出預期，真心推薦👍 首先從地理位置來説 民宿就在下納灰村，位置比較方便，而且靠近山裡，很安靜，沒有車吵鬧，睡到自然醒，出門就是峯林田園，租小電驢到處逛很省事，吃飯、逛景區距離都不遠，不用來回繞路折騰，窗外就能看見好看的山野風景。 其次衞生方面， 雖然在山裡，房間打掃得乾乾淨淨，收拾得清爽利落，就連公共區域的衞生也讓人賞心悦目（因為靠近山裡麪其實公共區域的話落葉會比較多還有一些雜物不過他們都收拾的非常的乾淨，）讓我們住着踏實安心，整體環境安安靜靜，很適合度假放空。 還有服務方面！真的真的很推薦 正好趕上假期，客人很多，看得出來工作人員都特別忙碌辛苦，但響應依舊很快，服務也很貼心。不是那種客套的流水線服務，是真的把客人當做朋友。還跟我們講本地飲食特色，貴州濕氣重所以愛吃辣，本地辣椒香氣十足；酸口菜品開胃解膩，給我們推薦餐館去吃酸筍牛肉，味道特別驚艷。有任何需求溝通都很順暢，很多小細節都考慮到，住着心裏暖暖的。 最後還要就是早餐 早餐全部選用本地當季新鮮食材，沒有花裏胡哨的花樣，都是簡簡單單實打實的本地吃食，吃着很放心。 所以像那麼好的，地方空閑可以坐在院子或者泳池邊發呆，慢悠悠欣賞貴州的山水，好好感受這邊鬆弛的慢節奏。 整體非常滿意，下次再來萬峯林還會選這家！

This trip was so rushed that I arrived at the hotel late at night with my luggage, and I was worried I'd have to make do for one night. But to my surprise, the owner greeted me with a smile as soon as I entered, holding a freshly brewed cup of hot tea. His words, ”You must be tired, come in and rest. Where are you from?” instantly melted away all the fatigue from my late-night journey. The room had central air conditioning, and the bed was made impeccably. Even the pillow height was thoughtfully considered without me having to say a word—it was such a pleasant surprise. The next morning, I have to rave about the breakfast! The variety was dazzling—hot, freshly made dishes, fresh fruit, and delicate snacks. After eating, I felt completely energized, and even the flavors were tailored to my preferences. I especially loved their plain noodles. The view from the room was absolutely stunning! Just open the window and you'd see the Wanfeng Forest across the street. The mountain scenery, with its layered peaks unfolding like an ink painting, is breathtaking. Mornings are shrouded in mist, and evenings are bathed in the glow of the setting sun. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the view, time seems to slow down. The toiletries in the room were also incredibly thoughtful; the high-end brand scent was fresh and not overpowering, and the texture was exquisite. I even shamelessly asked the owner for an extra set to take on my next trip. The high-end facilities were absolutely fantastic. The bedding was soft and plush, and the bathroom was impeccably clean with a separate shower and toilet. It was a truly comfortable stay. This thoughtful touch upon checking in late at night, combined with the wonderful experience during the day, has already made me secretly plan my next trip. This amazing guesthouse is a must-visit! I sincerely wish the owner great success in their business, and that this wonderful place deserves to be discovered by more people! ❤️

The view from halfway up the mountain was absolutely stunning. Everyone at the guesthouse was incredibly kind, doing their best to meet guests' needs and offering various forms of assistance. Even though it was past mealtime when we checked in, they still cooked a single meal. For those of us who prefer a relaxed trip, we booked dinner at the guesthouse; it was home-style cooking, reasonably priced, and quite delicious. The kitchen was also visibly clean. Breakfast had a slightly limited selection, but they did have noodles, which were pretty good. Non-instant coffee could be ordered separately. Overall, it was perfect for a laid-back, relaxing vacation. Unfortunately, my itinerary was also quite relaxed and casual; I only stayed one night. I had already booked hotels for the following days, otherwise I really wanted to stay longer.

How does a stay being outstanding from others with same location, same scenery and surroundings? These are the important points that affects me: 1. The service 2. The cleanliness 3. The connection (with their guest) Hechu Minsu gives me the best experience with all the above. Awesome stays with them! Although they require a certain amount of deposit, look at the amenities and facilities, to me, it's necessary and it's refundable anyway. The quality of the stays come from a bad experience of the Minsu owner in other places, thus she set the standard with hers. Will definitely come back!

The room was clean and the breakfast was abundant. Starting the day with a bowl of rice noodles, especially with the braised beef topping, was simply delicious! The hotel also has its own underground parking, and it's conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. The front desk even upgraded our room and gave us complimentary breakfast, so overall, we had a fantastic experience.

From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the enthusiasm of the staff. When checking in at the front desk, the room type was upgraded for free. The staff was not only very efficient, but also gave a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and the surrounding fun places, which made people feel instantly at home in this strange city💕 During my stay at the hotel, the service was even more meticulous. For example, I had special requirements for the lighting brightness in the room, and the staff quickly arranged for someone to come and adjust it. It was really thoughtful.

I can only say I'm extremely satisfied; I can't find a single fault! I came here specifically for outdoor activities. Booking a guesthouse in Wanfenglin is a real matter of luck, with all sorts of options available. I was very fortunate to find this one through a blind box, and I'm very happy with it. Environment: The environment, the furnishings, everything is excellent, stylishly designed, and very clean. They have many rooms ranging from low to high floors; I recommend staying in a higher-floor room. The breakfast was also delicious. Even without going out, the hotel itself is a great spot for taking photos! Service: The service was impeccable. They contacted me before I arrived to offer to pick me up and help with my luggage.
