4-Star Hotels in Xingyi

I held off on writing this review because I was so incredibly satisfied! So, so satisfied! This was my second trip to Xingyi, and I convinced my international friends to choose Wanfenglin over Yangshuo. This hotel made our trip perfect from start to finish. The staff were all efficient, warm, and friendly, always ready to help with anything we needed, whether it was arranging a car rental, sending a package, or doing laundry. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, and on warm evenings, they even offered iced mung bean porridge. When we left, they gave us a gift of colorful rice, which was such a touching gesture! The room was clean and tidy, with a convenient wet/dry separation in the bathroom. Before bed, I even did some stretches following along on the large TV. And the stunning view from the window? That goes without saying! Don't forget to wear something nice and head up to the rooftop for some beautiful photos. The village is very quiet at night, so you don't need to worry about noise. Rent a bicycle and you can get to the Lower Nahui market in just 10 minutes. In the early morning or evening, take a stroll down to the boardwalk to see the dam and the large waterwheel, then wander through the fields – it's incredibly pleasant! Thank you, ladies! The guesthouse was clean and tidy, and the owner was very kind. He pointed us to the location before we arrived, helped with our luggage, and showed us the parking lot. The guesthouse is located in Xia Nahui, which is quieter and offers better views compared to Shang Nahui and Zhong Nahui. There are many restaurants within a five-minute walk, making it convenient to go to the market on Monday mornings. There's a beautiful swimming pool, probably the largest for a guesthouse in Wanfenglin. The owner provided paddleboards, and the children never wanted to get out of the pool. In the adjacent small garden, there were three peacocks; we later discovered that the guesthouse's logo is a peacock spreading its tail feathers. The plants in the garden also showed that the owner had carefully selected, arranged, and maintained them. The guesthouse's breakfast was excellent, especially the rice noodles, which were delicious. My child could easily finish a whole bowl. Besides rice noodles, they also offered different small dishes each day, which was very satisfying.

This time I brought my children to Wanfenglin to play. I stayed at this homestay for two nights. I was very satisfied. Even the children had a great time! , 📍 Location, The homestay is next to the mountain, the environment is particularly clean and not noisy at all. Going out is the rice fields and the peak forest. The scenery is absolutely amazing. Children can run around outside to play. It is too suitable to walk the baby. , 🛋️ Room equipment and facilities, The texture of the things in the room is very good, and it is comfortable to live with. The mattress is still Jin Keer, and it is especially relieved to sleep. The homestay also has an open-air swimming pool. Children are soaking in the water every day and playing crazy! , 🧹 Hygiene, Hygiene has nothing to say, the room is clean and clean, with children to go out to live, clean is really too important, and the living is very practical. ,💁 Service feeling, must praise the staff here, people are really real, there are no fancy routines, just like friends. If you have anything to find them, the response is very fast, which makes people feel warm. , I also ate the wild fruit August melon that is only available in the local area, and the fresh raw walnuts bought by the boss early in the morning, and experienced a small delicious food eaten by the locals. , Slow pastoral life, good scenery, comfortable living, warm people, adults and children have fun. , I really recommend Wanfenglin, I will stay here next time!

The environment is truly top-notch, and the service is excellent too. Everything is so comfortable; just sitting by the window makes you forget all your worries. We had both dinner and breakfast at the guesthouse, and the food was delicious with a wide variety of options. It would be even better if the motion-sensing night light could be manually turned off to cater to different guest preferences.

This trip was so rushed that I arrived at the hotel late at night with my luggage, and I was worried I'd have to make do for one night. But to my surprise, the owner greeted me with a smile as soon as I entered, holding a freshly brewed cup of hot tea. His words, ”You must be tired, come in and rest. Where are you from?” instantly melted away all the fatigue from my late-night journey. The room had central air conditioning, and the bed was made impeccably. Even the pillow height was thoughtfully considered without me having to say a word—it was such a pleasant surprise. The next morning, I have to rave about the breakfast! The variety was dazzling—hot, freshly made dishes, fresh fruit, and delicate snacks. After eating, I felt completely energized, and even the flavors were tailored to my preferences. I especially loved their plain noodles. The view from the room was absolutely stunning! Just open the window and you'd see the Wanfeng Forest across the street. The mountain scenery, with its layered peaks unfolding like an ink painting, is breathtaking. Mornings are shrouded in mist, and evenings are bathed in the glow of the setting sun. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and enjoying the view, time seems to slow down. The toiletries in the room were also incredibly thoughtful; the high-end brand scent was fresh and not overpowering, and the texture was exquisite. I even shamelessly asked the owner for an extra set to take on my next trip. The high-end facilities were absolutely fantastic. The bedding was soft and plush, and the bathroom was impeccably clean with a separate shower and toilet. It was a truly comfortable stay. This thoughtful touch upon checking in late at night, combined with the wonderful experience during the day, has already made me secretly plan my next trip. This amazing guesthouse is a must-visit! I sincerely wish the owner great success in their business, and that this wonderful place deserves to be discovered by more people! ❤️

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, accessible through the village, making it quieter than other guesthouses in the village. The rooms aren't very big, but the amenities and facilities are very comfortable. The heated clothesline is a thoughtful touch for this season. The cloth slippers provided by all Fengxi guesthouses are incredibly comfortable, and the felt tote bag is very practical for storing odds and ends in the car during long trips!

This guesthouse is located within the scenic area, designed to mimic traditional Buyi architecture, with a charming, staggered layout and excellent aesthetics. The rooms themselves are very modern, featuring screen mirroring, Kohler toilets, and large bathtubs. In the bathroom, you can even see large, protruding rocks, adding a touch of wild, natural charm. From the balcony at night, you can watch the iron flower show and fireworks, really soaking in the lively atmosphere of the scenic spot. The butler was also very enthusiastic and provided great service. Personally, I think it's even better than staying in the Wanfenglin Scenic Area.

The room was clean and the breakfast was abundant. Starting the day with a bowl of rice noodles, especially with the braised beef topping, was simply delicious! The hotel also has its own underground parking, and it's conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. The front desk even upgraded our room and gave us complimentary breakfast, so overall, we had a fantastic experience.

From the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the enthusiasm of the staff. When checking in at the front desk, the room type was upgraded for free. The staff was not only very efficient, but also gave a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and the surrounding fun places, which made people feel instantly at home in this strange city💕 During my stay at the hotel, the service was even more meticulous. For example, I had special requirements for the lighting brightness in the room, and the staff quickly arranged for someone to come and adjust it. It was really thoughtful.

The best thing about the place is the location. You can walk to the fields and easily drive anywhere you need to go in the area. The car park only fits six cars. The decor makes the rooms seem run down. Bugs can come in through the cracks of the front doors. There’s no soundproofing and heard someone talking very loudly for a long time, as if lecturing two children, when I wanted to rest. Breakfast was terrible, with some dishes not tasting good and guests having to find staff to ask for refills. No water provided at breakfast. The accommodation calls itself a resort but no welcome gift was provided and the spa wasn’t working, both of which were advertised when we booked.
