Wozha Guesthouse
"Cosy traditional hotel near river and next to the main street. Lovely decorated hotel and the room. Room was large. Quiet. 10 minutes walk to the monastery."
Yano International Camping Park
"The stay was great and we really enjoyed the nature and atmosphere of this magical place. Nothing to complain about, the staff was very nice and helpful"
Shangu Homestay (Yagetang Branch)
"I had an amazing time. The family and their friends were extremely caring and attentive, and spent much of the time showing me around the nearby monastery, teaching me how to make incense, how traditional ******* painting worked etc. The food was also excellent and plentiful, and the rooms decorated in a beautiful traditional style. An all-round fantastic experience. I am certainly hoping to come back again."
Akzoba Camp
"The facilities are new and clean, the boss is hospitable, the scenery is pleasant, suitable for relaxation and stargazing. But because there is no air conditioning, it will be a bit cold in early June, and it should be more comfortable in July and August. I will come again if I have the chance."
Xiahe Hailuo Xuanpu Hotel
"We had originally booked the Mingzhu International Hotel across the street, but our driver said it was newer. After checking in, we regretted it immensely. We finished our activities at Labrang Monastery around 4 PM and checked into the hotel. We booked a relatively large deluxe room, but a wave of heat hit us as soon as we entered. I was on the phone at the time, and while looking for the air conditioner, I couldn't find it, and neither could my friend. After hanging up, we asked the front desk, and they said there was no air conditioning, we didn't need it, and there were no fans either. We then looked at similar rooms, and they were just as hot. Because this room faced west-northwest, it was the perfect spot for the hottest part of the day. We couldn't open the curtains, and we were soaked in sweat. The room across the street was a bit cooler, but the street view made it unsuitable for me to sleep on, requiring sleeping pills. The window could only be opened as shown in the picture, and with the screen open, we came back from dinner to find it full of small insects. On the way, we went to the Mingzhu Hotel across the street, which was actually better and cheaper, with spacious rooms, and the east-facing rooms weren't facing the street. The room was still stuffy at 9-10 PM, with no way for the heat to escape. So we slept with the window open. The excellent design was evident; picture 7 shows the electric curtains. When you close the curtains and press sleep mode, the lights turn off. We opened the electric curtains, and all the lights near the window were on; there was nowhere to switch them on. As an insomniac, I had to sleep with the window open and the lights on (using a pillow to block out the light) and three sleeping pills. The blanket was thick, but I couldn't use it. Breakfast ended at 9:30 am, but when we went at 8:40 am, most of the rooms were empty, and there was nothing left. They fried two eggs at our request. Of course, I don't know when I'll come back to this kind of hotel again. I also don't know how the hotel copes with the heat in the summer when most rooms don't have air conditioning, especially the second most expensive room type (the most expensive suite). I won't come back, so I'll never know."
Xiahe Marmot Resort & Hotel
"The hotel is in a great location, across from a prairie with plenty of attractions. Since I checked in late, I missed out on the bonfire and other extras. The room was quite new, though the cleanliness was a bit poor. The kettle was covered in ash, so I didn't dare use it. Breakfast was pretty standard: cabbage, shredded potatoes, and shredded carrots."
Gardon ·Nojigobo Estate
"Very good homestay, in a small alley, but it does not affect the luggage at all. Before you arrive, you will call the hotel and there will be someone to pick up the luggage. The room is also very refreshing and clean, walk into about 100 meters The homestay is very intimate, the small hot pot in the homestay tastes great, and the children like it very much. The waiters at the homestay are very dedicated and patient to answer questions for us. I will definitely stay here next time I come back. It is highly recommended."
Xiongkong Guesthouse
"The environment is super nice, but there are more or less bugs in the pasture."
Ganjia Eco Campsite
"An absolutely wonderful glamping experience! Currently, it's not too crowded. The hotel manager upgraded our room and guided us to the location beforehand, also reserving dinner for us. We heard a family member had a headache, and they thoughtfully brought an oxygen tank. The room was clean and tidy, definitely top-notch among guesthouses and glamping sites in Gannan. In the mornings, sheep graze around the hotel grounds, which feels incredibly natural. Guests arriving by car can enjoy free entry to Bajiao Ancient City and Baishiya Scenic Area. From the hotel, you can even see the spectacular Baishiya in Gan Jia Mi Jing. Each room also receives spring water from Mount Amigonghong. This place is truly a beautiful, sacred, and secluded wonderland!"

Dawa Zhuangyuan Homestay
"A high-end homestay with regional characteristics, ethnic style and rural atmosphere. Backed by snow-capped mountains and overlooking the Labrang Monastery, the independent Mongolian yurts and modern wooden houses complement each other and are dotted on the wide grassland. The most worthy of appreciation are the Tibetan-style decorations, the modern folk guitar and the owner of the manor with a deep Buddhist story."
Labuleng Civil Aviation Hotel
"The price is very reasonable. The house is clean. It is a good choice for the local area. The front desk service attitude is very good and they answer any questions patiently. The room has a shared bathroom, but it is acceptable."
Sangqing Campsite
"I hesitated for a long time before I was willing to spend a lot of money to stay here, and I was very satisfied with the experience in the end. The proprietress is a very talkative, enthusiastic and thoughtful person. The young people serving are all locals, cute and hardworking. Needless to say, the environment is naturally unique and enjoys the essence of the sun and the moon. I like it so much. Although there are not many choices for food, you can eat yak beef all you can eat, handmade pizza or pie, you can eat and take, I especially like it. The cabin is clean, hot water is timely, and the facilities are complete. The recommendation level is five stars."
Wanwu Xishe Light Luxury Homestay
"I was quite satisfied with the room. The housekeeper made breakfast at home. The only downside was the stairs."
Kangsang Home Homestay
"I chose this one after seeing the good reviews online. It turned out to be the right one. The owner is sincere, the photos of the house are real, it is close to the scenic spots, and parking is convenient, which makes it convenient for us to travel outside the area. We can choose one of the two options for breakfast (Chinese or *******)"
Hotels in Xiahe Zangbala
"We arrived a little late and the yard was full of cars, so the owner gave up his parking space for us. It was a B&B-style place, clean and tidy, and accommodating to all our requests. Overall, it was a good value for money during the holiday."
Meilang Gongbu Homestay
"The room was spotless, fruit was provided, and the full-house soft water system was a fantastic bonus! The guesthouse itself has a lot of character, with really unique interior decor. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, even gifting us some delicious yak yogurt. As self-drivers, we had to park our car in roadside spots on the main road. However, the owner thoughtfully arranged for a staff member to use an electric cart to bring our luggage to the guesthouse entrance, and then again to take it back to our car when we checked out. This service was incredibly considerate! We would absolutely stay here again if we get the chance. You definitely won't be disappointed if you choose this place!"
Nirvana Hotel
"Very nice staff and extremely close to the monastery entrance without the noise being too bad, tucked round a corner off the main drag. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the only issue we had was no hot water for the first night/ morning - after we spoke to the lady at reception it was fine for the remainder of our stay. The bar area is nice, we didn't try the food but very cosy for drinks."
Tibetan Family
"The hotel staff was super nice and allow us to check-in early. The room was clean. The pillow and blanket were comfortable! The decoration is really beautiful. The location is really great. You can walk to the Labrang monestary."
Langjie Light Luxury Hotel
"They don't have spill free dispenser water. The location is good to visiting Labrang monastery."
Snow Mountain Inn
"Very nice hotel close to the temple. The decoration is beautiful they offered us tea. One of the staff speaks really good english and was of great help !"
Xiahe Yuni Xiangyu Homestay (Labuleng Temple)
"Cosy and clean homestay with a very warmhearted and dedicated host. He organized us several Trips. We fully recommend this homestay and would love to come back later. Best regards, Andrew"
Xiahe Xiarui Hotel
"It is a relatively clean and comfortable hotel in Xiahe. The rooms and corridors are relatively spacious. It is not far from Labrang Monastery and is suitable for business trips and family trips. The hotel breakfast variety is not rich, but the milk is delicious. It is recommended."
Xiahe Gesang Yunju Homestay
"The room was large and clean with a great view. The service was especially good and attentive; they even reminded us when there was a bonfire party. Their kids were also super cute."
Xiahe Ganga Saiqin Camp
"I passed by the grassland and saw this campsite with a nice environment, so I decided to stay for one night. Finally, I stayed one more night because of the godly service of the boss and the guys. The campground opened less than a month ago. Compared to the accommodation conditions in the grassland, this campground has a nice environment. The camp room size, facilities and hygiene are good. The food in the restaurant is exquisite and tastes good. You can also see the stars at night💫"
Xiahe Cloud Rivulet Lodge
"The overall environment was nice and quiet, and the staff were very responsive. I asked if there were any free drinks in the minibar, and the owner immediately arranged for a free Coke. Free vegetables were also provided with the hot pot. It felt like home. The only thing that could be improved is a curtain on the frosted glass next to the door to avoid the cold light during naps."
Tianzhu International Hotel
"Clean, good service and very high quality rooms! Bad points: curtains have no blackouts, which makes you wake up with the sunrise, not letting much space for a good rest; breakfast not so good. I think for one of the highest prices in town, the could improve."
Lungta Farm
"A truly idyllic place! The rooms are spacious, heated, and even the amenities, like the tissues, are of high quality. Guests receive a traditional ******* scarf (khata) upon check-in and can participate in sheep and cattle herding activities. Dinner can be booked in advance, with options like hot pot and ******* set meals for 300 RMB for two people. Light meals are available throughout the day, and dine-in customers receive a 20% discount. Breakfast offers both Western and Chinese options. Enjoying breakfast outside with the view is a real treat. A wonderfully surprising and delightful place. Quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended! Excellent value for money!"
Jiusheng International Hotel
"The room was so hot I couldn’t sleep. I thought when other reviews said that, it couldnt Be true, but it is. The shower was great though and the staff is friendly. Breakfast ends at 9am, which is way too early."
