Although the rooms are a bit cramped, they are fully equipped. The owners provide attentive and meticulous service. Free parking is available in the small courtyard. The reception desk and the coffee bar on the third floor are filled with interesting traditional cultural knowledge. When you come to Xiahe County, you must visit Xicheng Inn!

Extremely charming Tibetan-style hotel. It was decorated very beautifully, with lovely wooden furniture and rugs, and corridors full of plants. We got the cheapest room, with a shared bathroom, but even this room was very spacious, and the shared bathroom was nearby. It was warm in the room, with the option to open the window to cool it down. The staff were very accommodating, and helped us book a taxi and answered our questions via Google translate. The hotel has a delicious restaurant, where we ate both breakfast and dinner, including lots of ******* food prepared freshly. The location is perfect for visiting Labrang monastery - they do English tours there even in March.

Any issues were addressed promptly, making for a superb experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again!

Hygiene: Because it is a newly opened B&B, there are only the proprietress and her husband, so they are probably too busy, and the beds are not changed in time. Because I brought Chinese medicine for my children that needed to be refrigerated, she enthusiastically helped me find a refrigerator to store it. The owners and their family came out to pick us up—they were incredibly friendly! The two-story rooms were both very clean. Our electric blanket broke, and they bought us a new one the next day. They also always let us know before we went out or when we returned. Breakfast was home-style, with millet porridge, white eggs, etc. On my second day, I caught a cold and experienced some altitude sickness, and the guesthouse owner gave us medicine! In short, I recommend this guesthouse to everyone visiting Xiahe! The only downside was that our trip was a bit rushed, so I didn't take many photos of the guesthouse.

Place has a nice vibe and was quiet tidy and clean. Boss spoke English and staff had basic English which was great, food in their restaurant is really really good.

The dorm was very clean and equipped with a kettle, which was nice. I was the only guest during my stay. As mentioned in the other reviews, the dorm is located in the basement and you have to walk a bit to reach the toilet. The „shower“ is located across the front desk. It’s a small room where the hotel is storing their cleaning equipment, so showering there is a quite dirty and unpleasant experience. As there are so many dorms in the basement (I would guess 50+ beds), I wonder how they would handle the situation if the hotel is fully booked. Overall I would recommend staying there for one night, if you are not picky.

My stay at the Norbesor Hotel in Xiahe truly exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely fantastic, super close to Labrang Monastery. You can easily walk to see the temple's night view, and it's incredibly convenient for exploring and dining out. The area is also very peaceful. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I could see distant mountain views right from my window. The facilities were complete, and the Tibetan-style decor was very distinctive, making for a very comfortable and restful stay. The ******* food at the hotel was such a delightful surprise! Their signature hand-pulled lamb was tender and flavorful, and the dipping sauce was incredibly aromatic. The portions were generous, and the taste was authentic. Plus, there were cultural song and dance performances, allowing us to experience local culture while dining. The front desk and restaurant staff were all very warm and helpful, responding quickly to any issues. My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit! Overall, the value for money is excellent. Friends visiting Xiahe should definitely consider this place!

This hotel is located on the 18th floor. The entrance was a bit messy, but I really like the hotel. It has a large screen TV, refrigerator, automatic toilet (the bidet didn't work because I wasn't familiar with how to use it), free drinking water, and automatic curtains. It's almost perfect.
