We chose this guesthouse for our family trip to Gannan during the May Day holiday. The owners are a kind and friendly ******* family. We were fortunate enough to be the first guests to experience the guesthouse, which had just been renovated. Location: Located in a small alley in the center of Labrang Town, with parking available in front. The alley leads directly to the town's main street, with abundant commercial facilities. The family lived next door, making communication easy. Amenities: The suite we booked had underfloor heating throughout, which was perfect for the still chilly May Day holiday. The bathroom had an electric water heater, although the water pressure was a bit low, it was sufficient for washing. Other amenities were also provided, including an electric kettle, hair dryer, and tea set. Cleanliness: Overall, the cleanliness was good. Disposable towels were provided, and there was no noticeable dust in the room. Service: The family was very welcoming. They proactively helped with our luggage upon arrival, and there was a traditional ******* ceremonial scarf (khata) presented at the entrance, making us feel very comfortable. The owners even took the initiative to show us how to make tsampa (roasted barley flour). They responded promptly to any needs we had for amenities. The next day, breakfast consisted of homemade porridge, steamed buns, eggs, and side dishes. When it was time to leave, the whole family came out to see me off, a truly heartwarming moment.

The triple room booked with parents and children exceeded expectations! The room is very large, the three beds are spacious and not crowded, and will not disturb each other. The whole house was cleaned very clean, the bathroom had no smell, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The front desk service is warm, with hot water, toiletries, and good sound insulation. A family lives in one room to save the trouble of booking separately, the price is good, the comment area is full of praise, the first choice for family travel, come back next time!

The dorm was very clean and equipped with a kettle, which was nice. I was the only guest during my stay. As mentioned in the other reviews, the dorm is located in the basement and you have to walk a bit to reach the toilet. The „shower“ is located across the front desk. It’s a small room where the hotel is storing their cleaning equipment, so showering there is a quite dirty and unpleasant experience. As there are so many dorms in the basement (I would guess 50+ beds), I wonder how they would handle the situation if the hotel is fully booked. Overall I would recommend staying there for one night, if you are not picky.

What a beautiful hotel! It is traditional ******* style, and the family who run the hotel are so friendly. They helped us with many things and told us about some events happening at the monastery. We were able to store our bicycles on the ground floor. The room was stunning and spotless. Great value too! Couldn't be a better location. I think this has been my favourite hotel of our whole trip. Thank you!

We stayed at this hotel for tree nights and it was great. Good location and heating! Only downside is that the toilet smelled like vomit, something that also happened in other hotels where we stayed. But other than that, everything else was very good and good value for money.

My stay at the Norbesor Hotel in Xiahe truly exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely fantastic, super close to Labrang Monastery. You can easily walk to see the temple's night view, and it's incredibly convenient for exploring and dining out. The area is also very peaceful. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I could see distant mountain views right from my window. The facilities were complete, and the Tibetan-style decor was very distinctive, making for a very comfortable and restful stay. The ******* food at the hotel was such a delightful surprise! Their signature hand-pulled lamb was tender and flavorful, and the dipping sauce was incredibly aromatic. The portions were generous, and the taste was authentic. Plus, there were cultural song and dance performances, allowing us to experience local culture while dining. The front desk and restaurant staff were all very warm and helpful, responding quickly to any issues. My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit! Overall, the value for money is excellent. Friends visiting Xiahe should definitely consider this place!

The room was a bit small, making it difficult to put large suitcases, but there was an elevator, and the mattress was very comfortable—essential for long trips. The owner was very polite and shared stories about Labrang Monastery.

This hotel is located on the 18th floor. The entrance was a bit messy, but I really like the hotel. It has a large screen TV, refrigerator, automatic toilet (the bidet didn't work because I wasn't familiar with how to use it), free drinking water, and automatic curtains. It's almost perfect.

The hotel is currently getting renovated so every room on our level was getting drilled and sawed and hammered. The room smelled very strongly of sewage. Upon arrival, there was a towel with dried blood/booger hanging in the bathroom. The bathroom didn't have soap so we had to use the shower gel to wash hands. Pros: The older reception lady spoke English. The location is next to the monastery.

The room is normal and the parking lot behind is quite large. Originally the room faces the street (yin side). After seeing it, the front desk was asked to change to the back (yang side) to the parking lot. The room has heating at night, it is hot and very good. The hotel is tens of meters from the gate and the county people's hospital. If there is a high reaction, you can walk past to inhale oxygen. The emergency doctor service is in good spirits and the attitude is very good. Walk tens of meters forward, there is a restaurant where the lamb and Tibetan fried rice are delicious. Not far from the temple. The bathroom is simple. Room hygiene.
