"The biggest feeling I had after staying at Xiahe Tianzhu International Hotel can be summed up in two words: stress-free. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Labrang Monastery, and right on the main street, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The hotel is quite new, with a charming ******* style. The rooms are clean and warm, which is super important for a good night's sleep at this altitude. The breakfast selection is rich, with ******* buns and butter tea, which were enjoyable. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and helped us with many route questions. Parking was also convenient, so no worries if you're driving. In a small place like Xiahe, finding a hotel with such new facilities and great service is genuinely highly recommended."

"My first impression upon arriving was wonderful. The guesthouse was bright and clean, exuding a strong ******* atmosphere. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. Although it was a guesthouse, everything was provided perfectly, and there was nothing that felt uncomfortable. From small things like face towels and wet wipes, to a constant supply of hot spring water, to the ceremonial scarves they presented us with upon entering, and the complimentary homemade yogurt—so delicious! The tsampa made by the guesthouse owner was also exceptionally good, which made me so happy. They even provided a free, warm breakfast! Thanks to the guesthouse owner's kind recommendation, we met a very reliable, warm, and kind man who showed us around Gannan. I love Xiahe!!! I love Gannan!!!"

"As our journey around Gannan drew to a close in Xiahe, I found myself only concerned with cleanliness when choosing accommodations, which rarely met my expectations. However, this guesthouse, which I hadn't held out much hope for, exceeded my expectations in every way. It was spotless, the kettle looked brand new, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the room was completely odor-free. The service was also outstanding; they proactively upgraded our room, helped with our luggage, and even offered extra bottled water when they learned we were dining in the room. It was excellent value for money, and I will definitely choose this guesthouse again next time I visit Xiahe."

"There was construction going on in front of the guesthouse, so you had to enter and exit through the back door. Drivers should be aware of this. I originally requested a room on a higher floor (they initially gave me the 3rd floor), but the receptionist told me the 3rd floor was the highest, even though the website said there were rooms on the 6th floor. Also, the room I was assigned faced the construction site, which was quite noisy, and the construction went on until late at night. The soundproofing wasn't very good; the construction noise from upstairs kept coming down. It's about a 10-minute walk to any restaurants nearby."
