My trip to Gannan ended, and I've been home for two days now. I have to add this belated review today. Location and Natural Beauty The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip. Service is in the Details What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.” Summary This isn't just a hotel offering accommodations; it's a warm, grassland inn. If you're looking for a place on the Sangke Grasslands where you can experience local hospitality, this is definitely worth choosing. The owner's sincerity and the beautiful grassland scenery will be the most unforgettable moments of your trip.

Bajiao Ancient Town is very quiet. The boss's house has a yard, which is very warm. There is a kang-style bed in the room, which is big enough. Although the kang is not heated at night, it is not cold. You can order fresh milk from the boss for breakfast, which tastes very good, and the flower rolls for breakfast are also delicious. The boss and his family are very welcoming and the baby is very cute. Next time I go to Ganga Secret Land, I will stay there again

The room's location was nice, but although there was air conditioning, it wasn't warm enough at night. Better heating would have been better. The water heater was dripping, and the water flow wasn't very strong, but since you can't shower at high altitudes anyway, it wasn't a big deal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I was quite satisfied!

We encountered a stormy night, and staying in the stargazing room was a fantastic experience! However, the shared bathroom we booked this time wasn't very convenient, so I would recommend booking a room with a private bathroom.

This homestay is quite good, clean, hygienic and tidy. As soon as you enter the house, you know that the boss is a particular person. Although it is a public toilet, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, bath slippers, and even handkerchiefs by the wash basin are all white. The service was so warm. They even presented us with Hada after we arrived. We were the only family staying in the hotel during the off-season in winter, but the service was not slack at all. The boss turned on the heating in our room in advance and prepared fresh yak yogurt, snacks and many other things. He really cared about us. I originally wanted to eat in the county town, but I ate directly in the hotel, which was also very good. The whole manor is very large. Located in the heart of the scenic area, directly opposite Baishiya (White Stone Cliff), the viewpoint is excellent. The sunlit evenings are beautiful. The guesthouse is nice and quiet. We enjoyed a delicious three-delicacy hot pot in the evening; it was incredibly flavorful, and we even drank the broth! I highly recommend staying here. Importantly, guests staying here can drive their own cars into the scenic area. However, please note that navigation to the guesthouse will take you to the scenic area's exit; you cannot enter the scenic area directly. You need to navigate to the visitor center, passing through Bajiao Ancient City and Baishiya Temple to reach the guesthouse.

When booking the hotel, I specifically checked other guests' reviews. It still exceeded my expectations. The guesthouse isn't located on the main street, but in an alley, near the Wuzelinka ******* Restaurant. We arrived at the guesthouse on the evening of the 2nd, and it was snowing that night. The owners and their family came out to pick us up—they were incredibly friendly! The two-story rooms were both very clean. Our electric blanket broke, and they bought us a new one the next day. They also always let us know before we went out or when we returned. Breakfast was home-style, with millet porridge, white eggs, etc. On my second day, I caught a cold and experienced some altitude sickness, and the guesthouse owner gave us medicine! In short, I recommend this guesthouse to everyone visiting Xiahe! The only downside was that our trip was a bit rushed, so I didn't take many photos of the guesthouse.

This hotel is located on the 18th floor. The entrance was a bit messy, but I really like the hotel. It has a large screen TV, refrigerator, automatic toilet (the bidet didn't work because I wasn't familiar with how to use it), free drinking water, and automatic curtains. It's almost perfect.
