"This guesthouse is very near Labrang Monastery, within 5 mins walking. It stands in a small street next to the Xia river. There're many restaurants around, both western and local food. The hosts were very friendly and kind. Our room was on the second floor and they helped us to lift our luggage upstairs. Downstairs is a restaurant you can enjoy easy meal and good coffee/tea. The decoration is nice. The house is bright and the air flow is great. There're spots both upstairs and downstairs to sit to relax. And if you add their WeChat they would answer every question quickly. The bus station is around 1.5 km away. You can walk easily there and with taxi it costs only 2 yuan per person."

"Our stay here was lovely, with kind staff. We are Australian and our check-in was easy. However, please note that the name of the hotel name is “Samphel Dhondup Hotel”, and it is located near the southern corner of 腾志路, Tengzhi Road, near the Monastery Ticket Centre and the river. This was confusing upon arrival. The heated floors were extremely hot, and not able to be turned off. Our room was a sauna, despite being -4°c outside (we had our window open the whole time). Hopefully this can be fixed. Breakfast was small but we were here during the offseason."

"I traveled with my father and booked two double rooms, both near the road, which were a bit noisy. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 am, and it was packed with people. There were no seats, so we had to make do with a bowl of noodles and come back later. When we went back, we had to show our meal tickets. Luckily, there were two of us, so we had four meal tickets for the two double rooms, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to have breakfast. The TV was out of service. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Overall, I think this is the best hotel in Xiahe. If you want a more comfortable stay, this hotel is quite good. It's not far to walk to Labrang Monastery. Parking is free at the hotel, so you don't need to drive to the scenic area's parking lot. The price-performance ratio is quite good."

"The surroundings are pleasant, transportation is convenient, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The owner is very hospitable. What truly sets this place apart are the fresh flowers in the rooms."

"Highly recommended! I think this B&B is the best in Xiahe County! The room was fully equipped and fully intelligent. It had a smart toilet, a temperature-controlled showerhead, a hair dryer, and all the necessary toiletries (a razor, toothbrush, and disposable toilet seat)—it was truly complete! It was actually quite warm at night, even a little hot. I didn't take any photos of the room, but it was exactly as shown. The sheets and pillowcases were spotless, and the room was spotless, with separate wet and dry areas. The owner was incredibly welcoming! They were so kind! They even gave me an umbrella when we went out to eat on a rainy day, and even called us to pick us up if we couldn't get a taxi. I was so touched! 🥹 The hot pot restaurant they recommended was also delicious and highly recommended (I forgot the name, but feel free to ask if you're interested). The lamb and beef were incredibly fresh! Even if you eat a lot, you won't feel greasy! In short, feel free to come! It's also quite close to Labrang, so you have to drive."

I loved spending time in the third-floor library, filled with cultural artifacts, games, and books – you'll never get bored! The hospitality from the hotel staff is also unmatched. I stayed alone but never felt lonely. They take guests on walks around the city to discover ******* culture. "It should be an old local hotel. It can be seen that the decoration was very careful at that time, but the sound insulation of the room is not that ideal. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and have a good attitude. When eating in the restaurant, I accidentally said that it was a bit cold due to the weather change.
