"The hotel's location is excellent, less than a five-minute walk from Labrang Monastery. The rooms are clean and hygienic, and the hotel provides attentive service. The owner and staff are warm and friendly, always willing to go out of their way to help guests. The hotel also has a campsite on the Sangke Grassland, which offers a beautiful and tranquil environment, away from other tourists – definitely worth experiencing. I will certainly choose to stay here again next time I visit Xiahe!"

"The best aspect of this stay was by far the owner. He was incredibly, incredibly helpful and friendly — from the moment I walked in the door he offered me a cup of tea, then provided tea and bread the next morning for breakfast, offered advice on what to see in the area, arranged a car to take me to Dalzong Lake, and finally even found me a spot on a local minibus going to my next destination. I couldn’t have done half the things I did during my stay in Xiahe without his advice and efforts on my behalf, so that alone made staying here fully worthwhile! It’s worth mentioning that the guesthouse’s architecture is also absolutely beautiful, and everything looks quite new. It’s located down a quiet side alley off of one of the main commercial streets in town, which seems like the ideal placement. On the accommodations: I stayed in one of the two tents erected on the second floor of the guesthouse. This was largely quite a good experience! The bed was very comfortable (with a heated pad), water and towels provided, etc. The tents are not in a closed-off area, but rather on the second floor/balcony area that also is used for sitting, serving tea, etc., so privacy is somewhat limited, but the whole guesthouse is relatively quiet anyway so it doesn’t feel like a public space. My only suggestions for improvement would be related to the bathroom: during my stay, the shared bathroom for the tents was a sort of temporary-style booth installed in the corner of the room with a toilet, sink, and showerhead. The bathroom was very clean and everything inside worked well, but its sliding door separated from the wall enough that there was always a substantial enough space on one side or the other that could be seen through (the door also didn’t lock and slid back and forth easily). The booth was also small enough that, realistically, I think it would be a bit of a challenge to actually use it to shower. If possible it might be worth looking into some simple fixes to improve these situations, but otherwise I have no complaints!"

"We were still traveling a few days ago, so I didn't have time to write a review. Now that I'm home, I want to give a proper review of this ******* guesthouse. Out of all the places we stayed during our Gannan road trip, this was by far the most satisfying. The entire guesthouse has a rich ******* ambiance, and the room's hygiene and facilities were impeccable. What's even more noteworthy is the ******* clothing experience – it was truly fantastic! All 8 of us took photos and group pictures in the garden, and the owner even took them for us. The accommodation is also very close to Labrang Monastery, which we walked to. I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"This Tibetan-style guesthouse is very unique. The hostess told me that her parents built the house over 20 years ago, and all the furniture and decorations are from that time. They are exquisite, vibrantly colored, and full of exotic charm. The guesthouse is very clean, and the hostess is also very warm and welcoming. She'll tell you where to shop and where to see ******* opera. Although it's a shared bathroom, it's very clean and pretty much used one person at a time, so there are no conflicts."

"The location is very close to the west gate of Labrang Temple, Tibetan aesthetic style, three floors with patio, no elevator, but the boss is very enthusiastic and takes on the human flesh elevator. The room is small, there are no tables and chairs, but it is very clean, and the bathroom has a heater to take a bath very comfortable. The disadvantage is that the road at the door is too narrow and it is not convenient for cars to enter and exit."

"Aside from not being able to help with logistics getting to/from, the hotel was good. Clean big rooms facing the river. Excellent quality bedding and furniture. Beautiful ******* property with a cozy common room full of lush vegetation. Great location - walking distance to the attractions. Staff is always there and always helpful. The only point where they fell short is not being able to help with advice or coordinate any transportation to and from Xiahe. If you stay there, investigate and confirm all bus times on your own, and arrange yoir own transport. Otherwise, the accommodation itself is perfect."

"The hotel is quite new, in ******* style, and even has an elevator, which is rare in guesthouses—very useful at high altitudes. The owner also thoughtfully provided electric blankets. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a few dozen meters from the main street, making dining and shopping very convenient. Labrang Monastery is only a few minutes' walk away. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area, and parking is convenient. Highly recommended!"

"The homestay is newly opened, the boss is warm, the parking in the yard of the accommodation can be parked, it is very convenient, the Sichuan restaurant at the entrance of the homestay alley tastes good, recommended, 10 minutes drive from Labrang Temple. "Extremely charming Tibetan-style hotel. It was decorated very beautifully, with lovely wooden furniture and rugs, and corridors full of plants. We got the cheapest room, with a shared bathroom, but even this room was very spacious, and the shared bathroom was nearby. It was warm in the room, with the option to open the window to cool it down. The staff were very accommodating, and helped us book a taxi and answered our questions via Google translate. The hotel has a delicious restaurant, where we ate both breakfast and dinner, including lots of ******* food prepared freshly. The location is perfect for visiting Labrang monastery - they do English tours there even in March."
