Service: The owner was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, offering free pick-up and drop-off at the pier. Environment: The view from the hotel is unbeatable, and the location is superb, right in the heart of Gouqi Shengshan. It's incredibly convenient for visiting all the attractions, and you can walk to the town in six or seven minutes, saving a lot on transportation costs. Facilities: The room facilities are simple, clean, and very refreshing. The bed was extremely comfortable. Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I originally booked for one night, but I enjoyed the environment so much that I extended my stay for another night. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

An excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns. All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.

I booked this homestay on Ctrip, and the overall feeling is really good. The room is clean and comfortable, and the toiletries are no less than those of a five-star hotel. The environment looks inconspicuous from the outside, but it is quite warm inside. The boss gives people a very kind feeling and helps introduce places to visit around. The meals cooked by the boss's mother are fresh and delicious, and worth recommending.

Shengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! It’s very guesthouse style, so hosts have a full menu that they can cook for you if you don’t want to go into town for the restaurants. They were all so warm and welcoming, even though my Chinese isn’t very good. Even though they had a larger group of 21 staying at the same time as me, they still checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and that I could still have my privacy. They also offered me the number of a driver who was very readily available to take me wherever I wanted. The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the ocean. It would be really romantic for a couples’ getaway. I hope that more people come to Shengshan and Gouqi, even for just a day, just so they can experience some of the island-style warmth and hospitality that Woqu had to offer. The host family was very warm and thoughtful. I arrived late that night. I waited until we packed up and settled down before resting. I had breakfast again in the morning. Everything was responsive. I booked a table of seafood. I really can’t wait to do it for us all. The four-person square table was set on two floors... It was also hard work. The boss who didn't finish it helped to put the refrigerator in the freezer and had another meal the next day. The shrimp meat is solid and sweet; the shuttle crab is fat and delicious; the fresh squid and yellow croaker are really open to the eye; There are mussels, clams, pippi shrimp, clam white... I can't remember it. Although I can't see the sunrise, I can't say the feeling of seeing the moon. Before I went, I was depressed for a long time, and my life and work were already crushing me. I visited Gouqi Shengshan and Sijiao Island many years ago. The natural scenery is beautiful, but the accommodation conditions are average. This time I was pleasantly surprised to find a good resort hotel. After arriving on the island, the design of the hotel is consistent with the photos. It is modern and simple, with a Santorini style. It was a very comfortable stay and the restaurant in the hotel tasted good, so I could enjoy a leisurely vacation without leaving home, watching the sea and eating seafood in the hotel. Will stay here next time.

I accidentally lost the bathtub plug in the room with the bath bag, and the boss did not care about it. Next time you come, the sea is really beautiful.

The location is very good, right on the reef cliff, with a wide view, very suitable for going there alone. The rooms have their own characteristics, but overall they are very clean and tidy. I changed several rooms for some reasons and was very satisfied. The service was very good. I was worried that it would be inconvenient to go to the town, but the hotel took the initiative to ask if I wanted to go to the town. It was very considerate. I will definitely come again next time I have the chance!

The rooms in the mountain park have a good orientation and a nice environment. The beautiful housekeeper is very welcoming. The only drawback is that the building is quite large and the guests are diverse, so it might be a little noisy during peak season.
