The room is very clean, the overall layout is very warm, the location is very good, opposite the Wushitang Scenic Area, there are many seafood stalls on the side, it is very convenient to go to Putuo and Nansha, the boss is very good, the recommended restaurants are also very delicious, the hotel Jiugongge breakfast is also very out of the circle, It is a hotel that will want to come back next time.

This guesthouse, perched on a hill, seems to be quite popular with influencers, featuring many Instagrammable photo spots. Both the rooms and the restaurant boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea, with the rooms directly facing the Rainbow Lighthouse. The restaurant's view is also fantastic; having breakfast with that sea view in the morning is incredibly enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather on our first day was terrible, with strong winds and heavy rain, which completely dampened my enthusiasm for taking photos. I imagine it would be amazing to visit in the summer! The in-room amenities were a bit lacking; perhaps to maintain a stylish look, there weren't many power outlets. However, the service attitude was absolutely superb—they were always ready to help. They even gave plenty of advice to us fishing novices who were enthusiastic but unskilled. I must also mention the free pick-up and drop-off service, which saved us a good amount of money, considering that taxi fares on Shengshan and Gouqi Islands can be quite expensive. The recommended driver was also very nice. I'd definitely come back in the summer just for this level of service!

I visited Gouqi Shengshan and Sijiao Island many years ago. The natural scenery is beautiful, but the accommodation conditions are average. This time I was pleasantly surprised to find a good resort hotel. After arriving on the island, the design of the hotel is consistent with the photos. It is modern and simple, with a Santorini style. It was a very comfortable stay and the restaurant in the hotel tasted good, so I could enjoy a leisurely vacation without leaving home, watching the sea and eating seafood in the hotel. Will stay here next time.

AipaodemilkThe hotel offers a shuttle service, and we called ahead to book it. However, the shuttle left without us, and we ended up waiting in the scorching sun for about 10 more minutes. We had to contact the front desk again and find our own way there. I think the front desk should coordinate better with the shuttle service regarding the number of guests and their contact information; it would greatly improve the guest experience. When I booked, I specifically requested not to have a room at the end of a hallway or directly facing a corridor, but that's exactly what we got. The room's window also overlooked the roof. We visited on a weekday, not a holiday, so I'm surprised the hotel was so fully booked. The room size was quite small, and the bathroom and shower were especially tiny. The facilities were standard. The shower sometimes had inconsistent hot water, alternating between cold and hot. The concierge and housekeeping staff were polite, though. Breakfast was decent. The main advantage is the location, being less than a 5-minute walk from Puji Temple and close to the island's minibus stop.

One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

Service by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.

The hotel's environment was fantastic: our balcony offered expansive sea views, and the garden was absolutely stunning. A small gate through the garden led straight to the beach. Since it was off-season, it wasn't crowded at all, which made for a very pleasant experience.
The service was excellent; the front desk, bellhops, and cleaning staff were all incredibly friendly.
The facilities were a bit dated, but for the price, the value for money was exceptional.
I'll definitely be back!

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a short walk from Zhujiajian Pier, making it incredibly convenient for trips to Putuo Mountain. Our family room was spacious and bright, offering views of the pier. The room was spotlessly clean and tidy, featuring a bathtub and a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area, plus complete shower facilities. Breakfast was quite generous, and there's a restaurant on-site where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. We even received complimentary welcome fruit. The hotel also provides its own free parking, both underground and above ground, which is perfect for those traveling by car. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and professional.

Guest UserThe hotel service is good, honestly! We booked a room without windows, but the front desk upgraded us to a room with windows for free because we had children! Because we didn't check the weather forecast before the trip and it was going to rain the next day, we got up early to go to Fayu Temple for worship. When we came back, our clothes were all soaked. We had to go back to the hotel to take a hot shower, and then send the clothes to the laundry to be washed and dried. I don't know if the washing machine was too dirty or the quilt was not clean! After the pants were dried, I put them on and felt like something bitten my legs...

It's a long time away from the pier. Suzhai is near the door. It takes 15 minutes to Puji Temple. There are buses from Puji Temple station to any temple and scenic spot. After packing your luggage, you can check it and store it at the pier. It's really convenient.
