"Choosing the Pullman Zhoushan for this trip was an excellent decision! The hotel boasts a prime beachfront location with stunning panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, offering incredible views of the sea and Mount Putuo right from your bed. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the bathroom amenities were top-notch. The front desk staff were warm, efficient, and made check-in quick and seamless. The location is superb, close to seafood stalls and the Mount Putuo ferry terminal, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. With a complete range of facilities including a swimming pool and a gym with sea views, my overall stay was perfect. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Zhoushan!"

"The environment was surprisingly excellent, I didn't expect to be staying in a small villa! My family and I traveled together, and they were all extremely satisfied. My friends saw it and immediately praised the hotel. Even my family's friends saw the hotel and said they want to stay here next time they visit. The butler service was exceptionally good; I felt a bit bad for bothering the butler to deliver some items, but they were great. Thumbs up to the butler! 👍"

"This trip to Mount Putuo in Zhoushan with my friends was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, much more so than I'd anticipated, thanks to our stay at the Zen-inspired Ruyige Hotel. The hotel boasts an overall Chinese Zen design. From the moment you step into the lobby, you're enveloped in a quiet and serene atmosphere. The wooden structures, courtyard landscaping, and subtle fragrance – every detail exudes quality, making it the perfect place to find peace and unwind on Mount Putuo. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the pier, which was very convenient. We stayed in a family room in the back mountain area this time. It was much quieter than the main building, and we had beautiful mountain views and lush greenery right outside our window. Although there was a short uphill walk, the hotel staff kindly helped with our luggage, which was a thoughtful touch. The room details also added a sense of ritual. Besides complimentary drinking water, they provided calligraphy paper, brushes, and an inkstone for copying scriptures. It was drizzling that day, so we listened to the rain and quietly copied scriptures in our room, feeling ourselves slowly calm down. The wooden bathtub and foot spa basin were also huge pluses; after soaking our feet in the evening, we slept incredibly well. The hotel also offers many experiential activities, such as scripture copying, morning and evening lessons, and sachet making, which are perfect for experiencing the Zen lifestyle of Mount Putuo at a leisurely pace with friends. What I loved most was that it's only about a seven-minute walk from the hotel to Puji Temple. Along the way, there are coffee shops and mountain scenery to enjoy, making for a very pleasant stroll and chat. I highly recommend the Yuanzhi Yuanwei restaurant directly opposite the hotel. We went twice in a row because the food was excellent. However, it gets very crowded during mealtimes on weekends, so it's best to go early. This trip to Mount Putuo with my friends wasn't about rushing through an itinerary; it was more about slowing down, quieting the mind, and savoring the present moment. I'm so glad we could spend such comfortable and healing days at Ruyige. I'd love to come back again."

"I chose to stay at the Mercure Hotel when I came to Putuo Mountain to make a wish. I stumbled upon it on Trip.com, which I guess was fate! My first impression was that it looked very clean and new, and when I arrived, I was even more pleasantly surprised. It's only a ten-minute drive from both the airport and the pier, and every staff member is incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting you with a smile, which really brightens your day. The lovely lady at the front desk even helped me upgrade my room type – huge thanks to her! The hotel lobby is beautiful and grand, and the rooms have a French light luxury style, very clean and tidy. The breakfast is abundant, and most importantly, very nutritious and healthy. They even have fresh, sugar-free kale smoothies, and the kale is grown by the hotel itself – organic and pesticide-free, perfect for those of us on a diet. My two-night stay was incredibly comfortable, and I highly recommend it to everyone. Five-star rating! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit."

"This was my second stay here. The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Puji Temple, and within walking distance of the bus stop. The staff are very proactive and enthusiastic, and they offer a shuttle service to and from the pier. The hotel's buffet lunch is a definite highlight – it's great value for money, especially compared to the 25 yuan plain noodles on the commercial street next door. My only minor complaint this time was that I stayed in a non-main building, and the soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear mobile phone videos from the next room, and unfortunately, some inconsiderate guests were singing loudly and jumping around even close to 11 pm. I suggest the hotel look into improving this. Overall, it's still a very good hotel, especially for weekday stays outside of public holidays."

"I made a last-minute decision to go to Mount Putuo for blessings. Even though it wasn't peak season, hotel prices were still quite shocking~ I saw this new Marriott property, and the location was excellent. The price after a group discount on Friday, plus an extra 150, was quite reasonable~ The front desk upgraded me to an executive room on the 21st floor, and the view was indeed fantastic, overlooking both mountains and the sea~ After checking in, I went for a stroll on Xiaogan Island. The scenery was lovely and very chill. Unfortunately, I had to rush back the next day~ I'll definitely consider staying here again next time~"

"A hotel that brings peace to your mind 🏨 📍Location: Next to Puji Temple's Dacheng Nunnery. You can contact the hotel for a pick-up service after getting off the boat. 🏠Room: I stayed in a duplex suite. The second floor has a balcony and a tea room, perfect for enjoying tea while transcribing scriptures. The first floor features a large table, a mini-bar, and a separate wet/dry bathroom. The room was very quiet, possibly because it was located further inside the building. 💁🏻Service: The housekeeper was friendly, and all the staff I encountered were very welcoming. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Highlights: * The overall decor style is very comfortable, utilizing a lot of natural light. The central 'Pure Vase Tree' landscape is very soothing to the eyes. * Excellent location, right next to Dacheng Nunnery, where Changsheng Zhai Cai (a vegetarian restaurant) is located. It's also not far from Fayu Temple, about a 20-minute walk. * Breakfast was noteworthy 😋 * The shuttle service between the hotel and the pier is a great perk, as the public shuttle buses on the island are notoriously difficult to catch. You can walk along the path, pray along the way to the pier, and then take the hotel shuttle back (confirm in advance). * Being able to transcribe scriptures and burn incense in the room really helps calm the mind. * Complimentary welcome fruit is provided daily, and the fruit was very sweet 😘"
