4-Star Hotels in City of Manila

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the old town. You can walk to all the attractions, so I can overlook the outdated decor. The service was impeccable, definitely living up to its star rating. My only minor complaint is that after I showered, I realized there were no slippers in the room. I had to call the front desk to send some up. Also, I asked for two bottles of water, and was surprised to find them charged to my bill at checkout, which is quite unusual.

The hotel room was clean and spacious. The front desk service was also very attentive. They even helped me retrieve my phone after I left it in the room. This was excellent. However, the only downside was the breakfast. For two consecutive days, the breakfast options were simple, and both times I went down to eat at 9 AM, it felt like I was eating leftovers. It seemed as though the breakfast might be outsourced. This was the only flaw. Overall, a good, standard four-star hotel.

It's a 30-minute Grab ride from the airport if there's no traffic. The hotel is in a historical building, and you can really feel its grandeur in the lobby, hallways, and staircases. However, while it's near the coast, the surrounding area isn't very clean, so I wouldn't recommend walking around. A 5-minute Grab ride to Robinson Place will get you everything you need: a supermarket, a drugstore, and restaurants. The pool on the 4th floor has a great view and is easy to use as it's not crowded. The breakfast buffet is about average. Intramuros is also about a 5-minute Grab ride away.

Overall, our stay was pleasant. However, the swimming pool was not operational during our visit due to bad weather. Additionally, the provided slippers were in poor condition, and we had to contact the front desk several times to request replacements. We were also disturbed while sleeping when a staff member knocked on our door claiming we had requested an iron, which we had not.

we booked this trip to celebrate my 18th birthday, me and my friends enjoyed the amenities, the room was cold enough to keep the cupcakes in shape even if there was a refrigerator ( it was cold to the point na parang hotdog kami sa freezer 😆 ) 10/10 overall experience, would definitely book again!

The experience of being able to see tropical fish from inside the room was truly special and wonderful! It was also a big plus that we could stay indoors without needing the air conditioning, even though it was hot outside. We were told the tank lights would be off from 9:15 PM to 6:15 AM and curtains would be drawn for cleaning from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, but this was not actually the case. Also, as other reviews might mention, check-in was quite busy. They explained that our room was ”under investigation and inaccessible,” and we ended up waiting in the lobby for 50 minutes. I felt that, in return, they should have offered us an extended check-out.

Booking here in trip.com made our trip very satisfying! Everything went so smoothly. I'm very happy that is was a stress free transaction. I also checked the website to compare the pricing, but I saw it was way cheaper to book here. Thank you so much for the splendid stay!

We had a pleasure of staying at Manila Grand Opera Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. My room was spotless and beautifully clean,comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, and I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread each morning. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting in Manila and will definitely be back!”

First of all, I would like to say that the staff was friendly and apptoachable but the thing was checking in and out took too long since they dont have their own table or place to properly process the papers. The place were bigger than the usual I bookedl before . The room has I double deck and 1 double bed. It was clean and the bed is comfortable. I just wanted to recommend to upgrade the cooking stove into induction, it was old and rusted which wasted electricity. They provide sleepers for 4 people. You need to bring your own shampoo and toiletries. If need cleaning and help just inform the staff. Few upgrades is irecommended

I was so disappointed. The shower host from the bathroom was defective but in fairness it was repaired on the 2nd day midnight. And also no rubber bathroom mat (since the bathroom floor tiles is slippery) . They only produce the mat after my sister a pwd has warned them for any accident that she may incurred the front desk will be responsible. While the water heater is not 24 hours based on their post. Water heater resume on my 3rd day stay. The four treadmills at the gym are also not working it is all under maintenance. In regards i think this hotel needs already a fully renovation.
