Guest UserI always opt for five-star hotels when I travel, but summer prices were just too high this year. So, I took a friend's recommendation and booked this place instead. 👍
It's about an hour from Kansai Airport, and Exit 13 is the closest to the hotel. The downside is there's no elevator there, so if you have a lot of luggage, I'd suggest Exit 16, which has one.
The hotel's service and facilities are excellent. The room was quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – we slept soundly every night. The location is also fantastic, about a 15-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. We stayed for five nights this time and visited Kobe and Kyoto. The Chuo and Midosuji subway lines right downstairs were super convenient.
I have to mention one particular incident. Check-out was at 11 AM, and our flight wasn't until 5 PM on the last day. Thinking we had plenty of time, my child and I went to Nipponbashi that morning. It wasn't until we got there that I remembered check-out was at 11! Luckily, my mother wasn't with us; she was having coffee at a cafe across from the hotel. I immediately contacted her and asked her to rush back to check out. But to our surprise, her Huawei phone couldn't connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi when she got back, and the only Pocket Wi-Fi device was with me! 😵💫 Since the reservation was under my name, the front desk needed to confirm check-out with me personally. But there was a language barrier, and my mom had no internet. She was incredibly flustered at that moment. Just then, a Chinese-speaking staff member appeared. He first calmed her down, telling her not to worry and that he would find a way to contact me, also explaining that the hotel's network was often unstable. He then took out a device and tried to connect her phone to the Wi-Fi in the lobby, but after many attempts, it didn't work. So, he took my mother back to the room and tried many more times until it finally connected, and he was able to reach me... His professionalism and meticulous work attitude deeply touched our entire family. We'd like to express our gratitude once again! I will definitely choose Tokyu Stay Osaka Hommachi again next time I visit Osaka. 👍

Guest UserThe location is fantastic, right outside the JR station and a 5-minute walk from Universal Studios Japan's entrance. There's a convenience store and shops downstairs – a perfect choice. We even went back to the hotel to rest when it got too hot at Universal Studios, then re-entered in the evening to continue the fun. After a long day of walking, a relaxing bath and soak at the top floor spa in the evening was exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was perfect, except for the crowds – too many people at breakfast and in the showers.

This hotel is super conveniently located directly across from Universal Studios, less than a 2-minute walk away. There's a Sushiro and a food street nearby, along with various Lawson convenience stores. What I loved most was the self-service laundry machine; after a day out, I could wash and dry my clothes, and they came out perfectly flat. The machine even comes with detergent and fabric softener, so my clothes smelled great and felt fluffy. There's also a microwave and an ice machine, so I could heat up the sandwiches I bought for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it's more Japanese-style with salmon and avocado rice, plus many other options. Overall, it was fantastic!

A very friendly little hotel for those who would like to enjoy a quieter Osaka experience.
Our room was very nice, the neighborhood is worth exploring, and the hotel is located close to many lively areas for nightlife and dining.
One small negative point is the hotel staff, who have very little understanding of English, making it difficult to communicate.

Guest UserThe hotel's design is incredibly thoughtful, like being in a peaceful rainforest. For its downtown location, the rooms are a good size, clean, and perfect for tourists to relax after a day out. My favorite spot was the water bar on the second floor – spacious and comfortable, great for a quick break or meeting friends. The large sofas in the waiting area are also a nice touch, offering a comfortable place to sit on both the first and second floors. It was especially helpful that we could store our luggage and rest on the first and second floors when our flight was delayed and we didn't want to go to the airport too early. Thumbs up for that! The only downside was that the breakfast was too Western-focused, which isn't ideal for families with children. It seems more geared towards younger European and American guests, which might align with the hotel's overall concept.

I've been to Osaka many times, and this is my first time booking this hotel – absolutely delighted!
The location is fantastic, right to the right of the JR station's central exit. You step out of JR and you're there. It's surrounded by shops, right in the heart of the commercial district.
Check-in is on the 19th floor, and the guest rooms are from the 20th to 27th floors, offering great views.
Next time I visit Japan, I'm definitely staying here again. It's conveniently located for transport and shopping, making it perfect for tourists.

Guest UserImmaculate place, highly functional with everything you need, just like a home.
For young travellers like us, we were looking for somewhere that is clean, convenient, flexible, safe, practical, affordable - and this place has it all!
Some major highlights⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- The room is very specious for two person and can fully open large suitcases.
- comes with a well equipped kitchen, inc pots, pans, crockery, cutleries, knifes, dishwashing stuff
- typical Japanese bathroom with washing machines and detergent provided. Only hang drying space is available in the balcony.
- self serviced amenities at reception, has everything from ear plugs, to trash bags.
- cleanliness of this place is top notch. Overall well-maintained.
- has usb port for charging and convenient socket port on bedside.
- has a balcony with a lovely view and hang drying space.
- self serviced check-in: hassel free with clear instructions to lock box, passcodes through efficient communication.
- AC works great, dimmable lights, OTT TV
- closest train/metro station Tegachaya 6-8mins away, kobini just few steps down the road, supermarket 8mins away. In a Quiet residential neighbour.
Some other points to note:
- Bed is on the softer side, not ideal for me but sure will suit some.
Was truely surprised for the value of money of the apartment, thank you for making it such a good stay!!

ManguoqihaidefengThe room was quite spacious, more than enough for two people and two 28-inch suitcases to open up. The double bed also had ample space. The bathroom facilities were excellent, with a Refa hairdryer and showerhead.
There was also a washing machine, which was very convenient for doing laundry in the room – I even fell in love with the detergent, it worked so well!
Aside from the room being a bit dark, everything else was great.

It offered stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to explore the area. The breakfast is satisfying, offering a variety of delicious options for different tastes. With pastries, and seasonal fruits, there's something for everyone. Guest UserThe room is small but can open two suitcases. The public bath and spa are excellent. Close to JR station and donki. But the staff and hotel policy are terrible and I could only rate it woth adverse comment. First, at checkin the staff did not tell us the spa world could be used even after checkout, so we had no idea we could still stay to play the spa world the next day until we learnt it from other residents in the hotel. If we have learnt it earlier at checkin we might adjust our travelling plan as we checkin late at night from landing. Second,
upon checkout we asked for luggage storage service, which is very basic services of hotel, but the staff said if we were leaving and not staying for the spa, they would not keep our luggage. I am not meaning leaving Japan but I just go out from breakfast or some shopping. I have visited Japan multiple times and stayed in many hotels or residence, and this is the first one not offering luggage storage service. Please do not call this a hotel if you refuse to offer luggage storage service. Third, the hotel prohibited any slipper and every one had to walk back to rooms in bare feet after public bath, this sounds dirty while the staff was wearing slipper. Hotel could provide slippers and require resident to wear hotel slippers only. Bad experience and poor service.
