Staying in Shenyang for a few days, I chose the Northeast Asia Hotel, and it left a very good impression on me. The overall decor is simple yet grand, and the public areas are kept neat and organized. The guest rooms are well-maintained, with all facilities functioning properly and no signs of aging or malfunction. The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, keeping the floor dry, and the cleaning was very thorough. The bedding was clean and comfortable, allowing for a full rest after a long day. The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for both city sightseeing and business commutes. The staff were patient and communicative when issues arose, providing a pleasant service experience. With all sorts of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, life here is incredibly convenient. This hotel is highly recommended whether you're traveling for leisure or staying temporarily for business.

The hotel as a whole is simple yet elegant. The guest rooms are spotlessly clean, even the corners are well-maintained. The water pressure in the bathroom is excellent, and hot water comes out quickly, making for a great showering experience. The staff are patient and always try their best to assist with any requests. The location is superb, making it easy to get around by taxi or public transport, and there are plenty of amenities nearby. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the price is reasonable, making it an ideal choice for a leisure trip.

As a loyal Atour member, I've stayed at many of their hotels in various cities, and the one at Shenyang Station West Square did not disappoint. It has that familiar bookish ambiance, the familiar scent, and the familiar comfort – the bed was as comfortable as ever, the shower was great, and the pillow selection (soft or firm) was perfect. What's even better is that while maintaining Atour's consistent standards, this particular branch boasts an exceptional location (right next to the train station). The front desk staff were warm and professional, always ready to assist. If you're a loyal Atour guest, or considering trying Atour for the first time, this hotel is definitely worth choosing.

The hotel's location is pretty good; it's a short walk to Fengtian BBQ. The underground parking is on the third level down, which can be a bit confusing the first time, and there are no charging stations. Other than that, everything else is great! The staff are very warm and patient, which is really nice. It's definitely a hotel I'd want to visit again.

The breakfast selection was plentiful, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was quite good. It would be even better if there were some local specialty snacks available, allowing us to enjoy authentic flavors right at the hotel, which would help us retain guests.

I previously stayed at Somerset Dalian Development Zone and had a fantastic experience. It's quite rare to find a serviced apartment hotel in a provincial capital, especially one with a two-bedroom suite over 100 square meters, near a bustling commercial area and right next to a high-speed train station. This unit boasts two bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room, and an open-plan kitchen (fully equipped with bedding and tableware). The two bedrooms are also spaced apart, providing independent and undisturbed resting spaces for two generations, while still feeling like home. The hotel offers a private cinema, a kids' club, a gym, a billiards room, a golf simulator, a relaxation terrace, meeting rooms, a spa, and more. What's particularly thoughtful and convenient is the extended self-service breakfast hours, catering to different breakfast schedules. You can rest, work, and entertain without leaving the hotel. The location is right next to a busy commercial hub. The service, from the restaurant to the guest rooms and front desk, is impeccable – warm and attentive. This will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I visit Shenyang. Just a few minor suggestions: The navigation location isn't very accurate. The hotel entrance isn't very noticeable. The interior design of the terrace is great, but the external view is a bit contrasting and the air quality isn't the best. I hope these can be improved to make the experience even better.

Traveling with kids, the overall experience exceeded my expectations! The room was spotless, very clean, and the environment was quiet and peaceful, so my child slept soundly. The bed was just the right firmness, and the amenities were complete. The staff had excellent service and were quick to respond to any issues. Good value for money, I felt very at ease staying here for our trip, definitely recommend it! They called me a day in advance to confirm my check-in and even prepared books for my child. Truly excellent.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The delivery robot service was great; it took only five minutes to get food from the delivery person to my room. The soundproofing in the room was good, and it was very thoughtful that I could check in as early as 6 AM since there were available rooms. However, there were a few minor downsides regarding the facilities: 1. There was only a showerhead, no handheld shower sprayer. 2. The room was extremely dry, and the wooden furniture generated a lot of static electricity – it even zapped my keyboard light out! It only improved after I asked the front desk for a humidifier. 3. When the lights were first turned on, they would flicker for about ten minutes before stabilizing.

To summarize: This hotel is perfect for couples and families. It has pretty much all the facilities you need, and the price is great. We stayed on the 14th floor, which was very quiet, and we slept soundly. The bed was large, and the air conditioning and hot water were strong and plentiful. The breakfast had a wide variety of options. Overall, it offers excellent value for money. Pros: The overall price is relatively stable. There's a convenience store and small restaurants downstairs. Nearby, you'll find Tawan Night Market, Wanda Plaza, and Xinyuehui, with a supermarket located downstairs at Xinyuehui. The subway station is about 900 meters from the hotel. In the lobby, you can get free bottled water, popsicles, and tea bags, and also store luggage. The bathroom in the room was large and spacious, with no unpleasant odors, making for a very comfortable sleep. Cons: The elevators during peak hours are a major issue. There are only three passenger elevators, plus one service elevator, each accommodating 10 people. The building has 33 floors, and floors above 18 are talent apartments. During morning and evening rush hours, you often have to wait for several elevators, compounded by delivery drivers rushing to deliver food and packages. During the peak summer season, check-out times were late, and we didn't get to check in until nearly 2 PM. Some rooms still had a faint smell of smoke. I suggest regular non-smoking treatments and designating non-smoking rooms.

Let's start with the positives: **Excellent Location:** The hotel boasts a prime location in the heart of Shenyang, surrounded by popular 'influencer' spots. The Imperial Palace and Marshal Zhang's Mansion are within walking distance, and it's situated right on Middle Street Pedestrian Street. Transportation is convenient. Downstairs, Wang Houyuan Dumplings are delicious, and the Qianlima BBQ across the street is also highly recommended; you should try their chicken racks too. It's incredibly convenient for getting around and dining. However, I wouldn't recommend the Xiaohuyan Morning Market or the Caitadian Night Market nearby; they're overpriced, the food is mediocre, very commercialized, and rarely frequented by locals. **Good Sleep Experience:** The soundproofing in the rooms is quite good, and the bedding is clean and comfortable, ensuring a high-quality rest. **Prompt Service Response:** When issues like a clogged floor drain arose, the hotel manager was patient and resolved them promptly. On the morning of the 24th, while dining at the buffet restaurant, I noticed obvious stains on the edge of a plate (as shown in the picture). A male waiter saw it and reacted quickly, immediately taking the plate away. His actions were timely and appropriate, which is commendable. He immediately informed a female waitress on site about the issue. However, it was disappointing that the female waitress responded, 'So many people eat at the buffet every day; it's impossible to check every plate.' Now for the negatives: **Severely Outdated Hardware:** The room furnishings are old-fashioned and stained, the clothes hanger was broken, and the room door sagged, making it difficult to open and close. The carpet had large areas of old stains, which looked quite bad. After I reported this to Ctrip, the platform was very helpful in coordinating a solution. The hotel manager was patient and proactively offered a room upgrade. Ultimately, we declined the upgrade and opted for free breakfast instead, but the hotel's attitude towards resolving the issue is commendable. (Although, when communicating with the manager, I overheard a female waitress next to her quietly questioning if I was 'looking for trouble,' which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. I was simply providing honest feedback.) **Poor Attention to Hygiene Details:** The floor drain in the shower was clogged, leading to standing water. Also, as mentioned, there were obvious stains on a plate during breakfast on the 24th. **Management Awareness Needs Improvement:** Regarding the cutlery hygiene issue, the on-site female waitress explained it away by saying 'there are too many people to check individually.' This reveals a lack of standardized procedures and treats an objective difficulty as an excuse for a management oversight. Finally, I'd like to say that while this stay wasn't perfect, Ramada, as an established four-star hotel, generally has good service and staff quality. However, it definitely needs some reforms. The hotel occupies an excellent location, but the current hardware completely fails to live up to its 'four-star' rating and 'prime location' value. I recommend considering phased renovations (for example, renovating one floor at a time and then progressing through the others). Although this would result in a short-term loss of revenue, in the long run, improving the hardware to recover ratings and reputation would yield a far greater return than simply 'resting on its laurels' as it is now.
