Shenyang North East Asia Hotel

This time, I was traveling with my parents and my child. Since my little one wasn't feeling well, I really needed a great hotel, and this one truly didn't disappoint. The room had two queen beds plus a sofa bed, perfect for our family of five. We couldn't get enough of the beautiful night view outside the window. Everyone in the family praised my choice. My dad stood there, cup of tea in hand, for quite a while, saying, 'Looking at these lights just brightens my mood.' My child was glued to the window, gazing into the distance, and asked if it was a lighthouse. The hotel is only three or four minutes from the bus station, which was great since my parents walk a bit slower – no worries about rushing for our bus. In the mornings, I'd take my child for a stroll in the small park downstairs, and then we'd come back just in time for breakfast. They had hot congee and mini steamed buns, which my parents loved, and my child enjoyed the special kids' area with small cakes and yogurt. When it was time to check out, the front desk staff saw we had a lot of luggage and proactively helped us carry it. Of all the places we've stayed on this trip, this hotel was truly a hit with the whole family.

The street below transformed into a golden ribbon of light, and the city skyline in the distance was sharply defined against the night sky, with countless glowing windows sparkling like scattered gold dust. My husband and I each poured a hot drink and leaned back in the armchairs by the window. We didn't say a word, just quietly gazed out, while our child, clutching the complimentary hotel plushie, lay on the big bed watching cartoons, occasionally looking up to ask, 'Mommy, doesn't that building look like a robot?' In that moment, I felt that the true meaning of travel isn't about how many sights you see, but rather this relaxed feeling of being together as a family, doing our own things yet still enjoying each other's company. The soundproofing in the room was excellent too; despite the bustling traffic outside, it was perfectly quiet inside, allowing us to sleep soundly until morning. Our child woke up full of energy, bouncing around.

The hotel has a children's play area, and while it's not huge, it's enough to keep the little ones entertained with a slide and building blocks. They even prepared kids' toothbrushes, slippers, and bathrobes in the room beforehand, which was a really thoughtful touch. The room itself was spacious enough for two adults and one child, with plenty of room for our little one to run around. For breakfast, there were kid-friendly options like wontons, noodles, and small pastries, so we didn't have to order anything extra for him. Overall, it was a very hassle-free stay.

Right by the elevators, there's a children's step stool next to the handwashing station, and a small stool beside that, so my child could wash their hands all by themselves! Our room faced south, and the night view through the clear glass window was spectacular. With the lights off at night, the city lights twinkled like stars. My child leaned against the window for ages, exclaiming, 'It's so pretty!' At that moment, I felt this room was absolutely the right choice. Being right next to the bus station was super convenient. My child took a bus to explore the surroundings for the day and came back completely exhausted, but there was already someone at the door with a hot towel – so thoughtful! In the evening, we ordered a kids' meal, and a robot delivered it to our room. The carrots were even cut into little star shapes, which was adorable. I really love the city of Shenyang!

The room was clean and spacious, with stunning night views through the large windows. The city lights at night were beautiful, and the street views were lovely. It's also within walking distance to a pedestrian street. The moment I walked in, a staff member proactively asked me where I was going and which transportation I needed, and even advised me on the best time to leave the next day, whether to take a taxi or subway – much clearer than if I'd researched it myself. The room was spotless, the sheets were fresh, and the air conditioning had individual temperature control. The shower had excellent water pressure, leaving me feeling refreshed. The front desk kindly arranged a late check-out for me because my shuttle wasn't until 4 PM, and they never rushed me, which was a huge relief, unlike other places. I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

But magically, when I came back to the hotel at night, sat on the balcony, brewed a pot of tea, and watched the flickering lights outside with a cool breeze, I slowly started to unwind. The room's soundproofing is also excellent; once the balcony door is closed, no matter how lively it is outside, it doesn't disturb the kids. This night view truly made me feel like this trip was complete.

This time, I brought my child here for a trip, and I booked based on its high ratings for family-friendliness. After staying for two nights, it certainly didn't disappoint. On the first afternoon, as soon as we arrived, my child was captivated by the fish tank in the lobby and spent a long time watching the fish. A front desk staff member passing by even gave my child a small packet of fish food, allowing them to experience the joy of feeding the fish. Such a small gesture instantly made my child love the hotel. Our room was on the 22nd floor with an amazing view. In the evening, we could watch the sun slowly set behind the city skyline, as the sky transformed from orange to pinkish-purple and then deep blue. My child lay on the windowsill and watched the entire sunset, excitedly calling out to me and my partner, "Look, look, the sky is changing colors!" After dark, the city lights completely lit up, a dense carpet of lights stretching from beneath us all the way to the horizon. Even as adults, we couldn't help but stand by the window and admire the spectacular sight for a long time. My child slept soundly that night, perhaps from being tired from playing all day, or maybe because the room's curtains provided excellent blackout. They slept until morning and even wanted to stay in bed. For a family trip, this place is a perfect choice – adults can relax, and children have a blast. Five-star recommendation!

The tissues were clean, and I appreciated that the toilet seat was wiped down – a definite plus! The mattress was firm, so I didn't have to worry about my child rolling off. Plus, there's a convenience store right downstairs, which was super handy for picking up anything we needed. Overall, this stay was excellent.

But when we returned to the hotel at night and stood by the window, everything just calmed down. The window faced the city, with a blanket of lights stretching to the horizon, streetlights forming ribbons of light, and distant tall buildings with their top lights twinkling. It reminded me so much of the view from my grandmother's balcony when I was a child. My little one leaned on the windowsill for ages, pointing out which lights were stars and which were airplanes. I just sat beside him, watching the warm glow of the city lights fill the room, without even needing the main lights on. In that moment, all the fatigue from rushing between sights, queuing, and coaxing the kids to eat during the day just melted away. Honestly, when you're traveling and staying in a hotel, having such a beautiful night view to unwind to makes the whole trip feel worthwhile. Next time I'm in Shenyang, I'll definitely stay at Northeast Asia again.
