An absolutely secluded retreat: True to its name, Jiushan is a top choice for escaping the world. When they picked me up to go up the mountain, we turned off the national road onto a very small and narrow path. The owner explained that he had to get permission from every villager along the way to build it, and it immediately felt very hidden and mysterious, yet also strangely welcoming. While not completely surrounded by the nine sacred mountains of Jiuzhaigou, the guesthouse lobby and rooms offer an uninterrupted view of continuous mountain ranges right in front. The scenery changes rapidly with the weather, and simply sitting, lying, or standing and daydreaming, you feel healed by the view. It really is worth staying on the mountain; the scenery is a natural gift that hotels downhill just can't compare to. When I contacted them in advance, they mentioned upgrading me to a room with floor-to-ceiling windows. It was raining when I arrived, and I ended up in a room called 'Rain' – everything felt perfectly serendipitous. The owner told me that the misty mountain view I saw that day was even rarer than the 'golden mountains in the sun.' I went downstairs and sat under a tent for a while, quietly listening to the rain and bird songs, taking deep breaths of fresh air – it felt like a full body cleanse. Sure enough, the next day, after clear skies, the scenery was completely different, offering an experience of peaceful reading in the sunlight. On the first evening, I only intended to heat up some beef baked buns I'd bought downhill, but I was drawn to the bonfire that had been set up and ended up sitting there for ages. I didn't have my phone, just watched the crackling fire, zoned out, chatted, and even cadged a few beers. After checking in, I completely forgot about my plans to go down the mountain to other scenic spots. I've often thought that for city dwellers, travel is a process of returning to oneself. We're bombarded with enough information usually, so being able to be alone in an undisturbed place, even just to daydream, is the best possible experience.

This hotel is super nice, with an excellent location right at the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Valley, about a 10-minute walk from the ticket office. I have to commend the 'E-personality' lady at the front desk – she was incredibly enthusiastic! Every day, she generously gave us fresh yak yogurt (I checked, and they were all freshly made) and even gave us discount coupons for the hotel restaurant. The restaurant is also great; the yak hotpot was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The room has 24-hour diffused oxygen supply, so there's no need to worry about altitude sickness; I slept very comfortably. Plus, the smart home system throughout the room was fantastic, the facilities are new, and the environment is very clean.

Real experience: The experience was great, definitely a hotel I'd visit again. 1. Outdoor rooftop hot spring: Enjoying a private hot spring at 9 PM, 2000 meters above sea level – just thinking about it is romantic! 2. Fully smart room: Very convenient. The smart speaker controls the curtains and lights, and there's a smart toilet. The room is very new. 3. The front desk lady was very helpful; I left some wet clothes behind, and she even helped me dry them. Small suggestions: A guesthouse with a dryer would be a plus! If the room could provide 1-2 laundry bags, it would be more convenient as carrying small items downstairs can be a bit awkward. The front desk lady did find me a plastic bag, though. Overall, highly recommended! The pillows and mattress were also very comfortable to sleep on. 😘

The hotel is very clean. Even with restaurants and bars nearby, there's no need to worry about noise after 9 PM, as it's already very quiet. Extending my stay was also smooth, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Takeaway food options are convenient in the area, and the attention to detail is impressive – they even offer two types of pillows. Overall, the living environment is very comfortable. For this quality, the price offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend staying here. It's about a fifteen-minute walk to the scenic area and only a few hundred meters from the bus stop.

The front desk staff were all incredibly friendly towards children. We even got Häagen-Dazs and snacks upon check-in. Although our booking didn't include breakfast, they kindly offered it to us (and the breakfast was fantastic – highly recommended!). I rarely leave reviews, but I just had to praise them this time for the excellent emotional value they provided. The resort area is very quiet, and there are fun places nearby; we even visited a museum and saw some meerkats! We stayed for two consecutive nights and had a great experience. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be that it's a bit far from the scenic area. A taxi cost 40 RMB in the morning and 30 RMB to get back at night. Also, the laundry room could get a bit crowded.

The hotel also provided a convenient shuttle service to the scenic area, which was great, though it's worth noting they only offer drop-offs, not pick-ups. We had fantastic weather during our trip to Jiuzhaigou, perfect for sightseeing and photos. I'd definitely recommend visiting on a sunny day for the best pictures. There's a supermarket right across the street and the popular Lao Bing BBQ is just outside the entrance. I highly recommend this hotel!

The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances. The hot water came out quickly with good pressure, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. The toiletries were of good quality, and the internet was stable and fast. The front desk staff, especially a young lady, provided very thoughtful service. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and she patiently and proactively answered questions about travel plans. The location is superb, with plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around. It offers excellent value for money and is perfect for both leisure travel and business trips!

The room itself was clean and tidy; the twin-bed room offered ample space, comfortable bedding, and a well-designed bathroom with a separate wet and dry area, along with perfectly functioning bath facilities. The overall decor was simple yet elegant. From initial communication to check-in, the entire experience was fantastic. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and the service was meticulous and spot-on, making everything feel very comfortable. It offers excellent value for money, and I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Our family could take a leisurely stroll there, saving us the hassle of waiting for transport and queuing. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding felt very soft. After a tiring day of exploring the park, it was incredibly relaxing to lie down. There was plenty of hot water, and despite the low nighttime temperatures at high altitude, the room was comfortably warm, not chilly or damp. The front desk staff was very helpful, explaining important park entry information, reminding us to stay hydrated, and even recommending local restaurants nearby. The common areas were quiet, with mountain forests visible from the window, offering fresh air. Supermarkets and restaurants were all close by, making it easy to grab snacks and fruit. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Jiuzhai.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We drink a lot of water, and they didn't bat an eye, which was great. The sister who wore traditional clothing also had excellent service. However, the rooftop on the fourth floor was quite desolate, and there were sunflower seed shells left there for days without being cleaned. The hotel is not far from the scenic area. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. You get what you pay for, and for the price, I think it met expectations. The only thing I didn't particularly like was the breakfast; it wasn't very tasty. The buns, corn, and purple sweet potatoes were all cold, and the noodle topping wasn't good. But we stayed for two days, and while the first day's breakfast was terrible, the second day's was much better, so it might depend on the specific day. Overall, it's pretty good – not amazing value, but not a bad deal either. It's an average guesthouse, which is perfectly normal.
