We had a wonderful stay at Peidmont Spa Hotel in Jiuzhaigou. The location is fantastic—it’s about an 18-minute walk to the scenic park entrance. We actually entered the park twice during our two-day stay, so we are absolutely sure about the timing! The walk is simple and straightforward. Plus, the hotel is right next to an amazing ******* hotpot restaurant. The food there is delicious, and the staff are incredibly hospitable, even to guests who cannot speak English.
Overall, the location is perfect. You are right next to clothing shops (in case the plateau gets too cold) and a convenience store. The room we booked was spacious and featured an amazing bidet. I really miss having a bidet at home, so I was thrilled this hotel had one. The projector in the room was also great for winding down.
The hotel features a hot spring spa with three different bath tubs, plus a foot spa bath downstairs. The room is probably designed for a couple, so it was a bit awkward for my sibling and me since there isn’t a private area to change after a shower. However, we found a workaround. While the shower and toilet are separate, the changing area is open-plan. Just something to be aware of if you’re traveling with a friend or family member.
Despite that minor detail, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again for the location and amenities.
