3-Star Hotels in Cairo

The Staff speaks English and was very kind and helpful. The rooms are sparkling clean, functional gym and cozy pool. It’s a 3 minute walk to the mall. It’s the best place to relax in New Cairo. Love from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼🇿🇼

A very enjoyable experience from beginning to end. We received a warm welcome from the manager when we arrived, and the reception team was helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, bright and comfortable, and housekeeping did a good job keeping everything tidy. I was also happy to see that the hotel looked like the photos we had seen before booking. The elevator was working perfectly and getting to our room was easy. The central location was very convenient for exploring Cairo, and we felt safe and comfortable during our stay. What impressed us most was the friendly attitude of the staff and the attention they gave to their guests.

Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Khan el-Khalili, just a 3-minute walk away. The hotel is located in an alley, so vehicle access is not very convenient. Breakfast is served as a set menu, and the portions are generous. The owner and staff are also very enthusiastic. The triple room we booked was just the right size. Cons: Because it's close to Khan el-Khalili, the surrounding environment isn't great. There's also a mosque nearby, which has regular prayer calls.

Surprisingly, my apartments were with two bedrooms and a living room that I didn't expect. Good surprise. All clean, staff friendly, there are laundry services. I'll come back again when I'm in Cairo again. Recommendation for owner: Add to the fans, batteries to all the remotes and more towels.

Afnan Cairo Airport is a decent budget option, but it’s not without its quirks. The location is super convenient—just 2 miles from the airport, making it great for layovers ✈️. The cleanliness was impressive; my single room and shared spaces were spotless. However, the service was hit or miss—the staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed at times. Facilities like the gym? Nonexistent, so don’t expect to work out here.. The street noise made sleeping a challenge, and occasional water issues were frustrating. Overall, it’s okay for a short stay if you’re not too picky. Budget-friendly but basic!

I was so happy that they handled my late-night arrival so well. I was hoping to enjoy the cleanliness, which was unlike anything I'd seen in Egypt, but the one I'm currently dealing with... It's been a week since I bought it! Ever since I bought it, there's been something that's been bothering me.

1. The location is good, within walking distance to the Egyptian Museum, subway, and kazaz, which is a 1.3km walk from gobus tahir station, which is very downtown. 2. The hotel has an elevator, which is very rare. I have stayed in a nearby hotel which is also located in an old house. There is no elevator and I need to carry my luggage. The elevator is not big enough to accommodate about 4 people (without luggage), but it is much better than climbing stairs by yourself. 3. There is one triple room and one double room. The triple room is quite spacious and the standard room is not large enough. 4. There is no hot water kettle or hair dryer in the room, you can ask for it at the front desk, but the number of these two items in the entire hotel is limited, so I waited for a long time... 5. It’s more cost-effective to pay in US dollars than in Egyptian pounds. The exchange rate for paying Egyptian pounds is not so good. 6. Breakfast starts at 8:00. If you want to go to the Black and White Desert, the driver usually picks up at 7:30. If you don’t have time to eat breakfast, you can go to the rooftop restaurant to pack some (the restaurant is still preparing breakfast at 7:30, and the things that can be packed are limited. Eggs, bread, flatbread, jam, that’s all)

This was the No. 1 accommodation I stayed at during my solo trip! First of all, it was very clean, the toilet and shower were separate, and it had hot water! The staff member was a kind and adorable old man! I was so happy I was able to relax! If I'm staying in Cairo again, I'll definitely stay here! It was so comfortable that I even asked to stay multiple nights! The location was great, and I found it pretty quickly! It's on the 6th floor! I'm afraid of elevators, which are a common Egyptian thing, so I used the stairs!
