Sayed Effendi - Boutique Hotel

The Hotel is classy and vey clean, it was refurbished recently. The location is near the city center, where the shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff and other helpers are friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at Sayed Effendi Hotel in Downtown Cairo. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Their dedication and hard work truly reflect their commitment to providing guests with an exceptional experience. One of the things I appreciated most was the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms and corridors were always spotless, and the pleasant scent throughout the property added a very refreshing touch. The breakfast experience was also a highlight. Enjoying a delicious breakfast on the terrace, along with the beautiful Cairo weather, made for a perfect start to the day. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Cairo. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay, Sayed Effendi is an excellent choice—you won’t regret it.

The hotel is clean and decent for the 4 nights we stayed. Entrance is along the road but will not missed using taxi. Basic amenities are provided. No toothbrush and paste. The added lift at the hotel does not stopped at room level so heavy baggage needs some assistance. Breakfast is normal fare acceptable for foreigner for a short stay.

Excellent hotel and excellent staff behaviour. Lubna the front desk manager is extremely helpful and very nice perdon. Actually all the staff are very nice and they are always ready to help the customer. I can recommend this hotel without a second thought. Amazing in one word.

This hotel is fully renovated. In general, it's a very nice, beautifully renewed and well-located hotel. As a new one, it still needs a few improvements, but the owner and the young, motivated team are doing their best to assist all the customers. If I return to Cairo, I will certainly stay there again. I recommend it to any tourist who wants to be in the city centre and is looking for a well-priced option. The great attraction is the hotel mascot cat, which guards and helps the doorman in keeping intruders away. Pls give some tips at the reception for the care of the little Farida.

Nice room and staff..highly recommend..simple breakfast but nice with a local food..
