Castello Hotel

I think it has a minimum level of cleanliness. I was impressed by the young hotel staff (both male and female). However, it's small.

It's on the second floor of a building with an entrance down an alleyway off the main street, so be careful not to miss the sign. It's old, but it does have an elevator. The room was recently renovated and was clean, with an outlet by the pillow, no power outages, and plenty of hot water. There's a refrigerator but no hairdryer. Breakfast was included, and I was grateful that they offered a solid menu. The staff were also friendly. However, because it's an old building facing a main street and has no soundproofing, car horns and other sounds are loud 24 hours a day. Earplugs are a must. If you can overlook that, it's a fine place to stay.

A very nice hotel with a great location in the old town. Everything is nearby: a currency exchange office, shops, cafes, and two metro stations. In the evening, a local market unfolds on the surrounding streets. The room has a comfortable balcony, and the breakfasts are delicious and can be ordered in-room. The antique elevator adds to the ambiance. The staff is helpful and polite. It was a bit of a challenge to find the hotel right away; the sign is high up.
