3-Star Hotels in Kunming

The location is super convenient but the concept is more like a service apartment within a building ie without a frontage at the level 1. Having said that, it’s fairly easy for us to locate it. Overall, the room is very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was interesting and offers afternoon tea and supper too! Great size bathtub would be good for couples. We stay in a smart room and needed voice to activate lights and aircon. A big plus point is that a spa is available just one floor down which is the same owner as the hotel, we had happy hours & dinner at the spa and had over 3 hours of treatment after, head up to our room and had a great night rest! Highly recommended to check the spa service. Overall, it was good except one night we had some cigarette smell in the room in the middle of the night, likely due to the air ventilation. The hotel changed our room first thing in the morning and this was resolved quickly. In summary, it is a hotel with a relaxing vibe, attentive service and value for money given it’s connected to a big shopping mall with many good restaurants and supermarket.

The room was clean, odor-free, the bathroom had good drainage, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk receptionist was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room. The location is not far from the subway station, and travel is very convenient.

I took my mother out for a trip, and the last stop was Kunming. The hotel is in a good location. It costs 12 yuan to take a taxi to Tangzixiang subway station, and then take Line 6 to the airport. I went to Dianchi Lake and took Line 5. The business twin room is very large and the breakfast is very delicious. The hotel is newly renovated and the facilities are very new. I originally planned to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel in Tangzixiang, which has a better location, but in terms of cost performance, this one is much cheaper, and the extra money I spent on the taxi can be ignored

This hotel is located right inside the airport terminal, which is incredibly convenient for travelers with early morning flights or those on an overnight layover. You can walk there directly after your flight, saving the hassle and cost of taxis. The room maintained the consistent quality you'd expect from a Seasons hotel; it was very clean with no strange odors. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. Even though it's next to the airport, I barely heard any airplane noise at night, allowing for a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plenty of hot water, and a full set of toiletries.

Location is king! 👍🏻👍🏻 Green Lake, the old street, Nie'er Square, Yunnan University, and all sorts of amazing coffee shops are all within walking distance… The shower water was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spacious, especially the enclosed wide balcony room, which was almost as big as the main room. The triple room was fantastic, solving the problem of older kids needing separate beds. The shower pressure was also wonderfully comfortable – truly a lucky find! There's no elevator, so guest rooms are on the second floor, but the elderly person in our group found it an easy walk and not an issue. The front desk lady was gentle, kind, and hardworking. When I accidentally didn't close the shower door properly at night and water leaked everywhere, she patiently brought tools and helped us clean it up. The Crossing the Bridge Noodles she recommended were also delicious…

My kid was a bit worried at first, thinking such a cheap room might not be great, but it turned out to be really good! It was clean and tidy, and while there was some airplane noise, it didn't bother us much. We were satisfied with everything, really. The room was huge, the bed was big, and the pillows were quite comfortable. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the disposable slippers and combs were a bit too 'disposable,' and it would be even better if the restaurant offered dental floss instead of toothpicks.

The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, room service was prompt, and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, incredible value for money, and an outstanding stay. **A Home Away from Home in Kunming** Our stay at this homestay in Kunming was truly exceptional. The room was a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, thoughtfully designed with minimalist accessories that perfectly matched our taste. Cozy and inviting, it offered a sense of warmth and comfort that made us feel at home instantly. The view of the lake from our window added a touch of magic to our mornings and evenings. The location is simply ideal. Situated in a peaceful area just 100–200 meters from the Ethnic Yunnan Village Park (also known as the Ethnic Minority Nationalitys Park), it allowed us to easily explore this cultural gem during a day trip, an experience we highly recommend. At the same time, the homestay is surrounded by quiet shops and local markets, making it both convenient and serene. What truly set this place apart was the outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the hosts went out of their way to assist us, even arranging a Didi taxi to ensure we reached the homestay smoothly. Their kindness didn’t stop there, they helped us purchase tickets for cultural attractions, found an English-speaking guide when our Mandarin wasn’t sufficient, and took care of countless other details that made our stay effortless. A highlight of our experience was Miss Zhang’s traditional Yunnan tea ceremonies. These sessions were not only a delight for the senses but also a wonderful opportunity to learn about the unique qualities of Yunnan teas and the art of brewing them. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, often joined by the owners, which led to lively, hours-long conversations filled with laughter and stories. It was these moments that made us feel like we were among friends rather than guests. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked the same room for our return in a week. We can’t wait to be back in this haven of warmth, culture, and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, memorable, and heartwarming experience in Kunming!

I absolutely recommend this B&B to everyone. The cleanliness is amazing, even a mysophobe like me can lie down in bed with confidence. The small courtyard is cozy and inviting, making me feel like I'm right at home all the time. [Proud] The B&B also has a big surprise: a heated swimming pool with clean water. The kids loved it. [Celebration][Fireworks][Wow] After swimming, you can enjoy a sauna in the steam room. There's also a piano and a gym, catering to everyone. The host is very welcoming and thoughtful, recommending nearby attractions and restaurants. [Loving] This B&B not only made me feel like home away from home, but also gave me a sense of warmth and peace of mind.

The Kunming Jinhua International Hotel has an excellent location right on Beijing Road, very close to Kunming Railway Station, making transportation very convenient. The front desk staff are polite and friendly. The room was clean, tidy, and hygienic, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. Breakfast was abundant, varied, and delicious, offering great value for money. Thumbs up!
