JerryCheongWe had a wonderful stay here. My favorite feature was the bay window. It was such a cozy place to relax after a day of exploring.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and they responded to our requests quickly.
The room was clean, modern, and well maintained. It had a smart toilet, a powerful hair dryer, a round table, and a small tatami table, which made it convenient for us to enjoy takeaway meals in the room.
The location was excellent and very convenient for getting around. Most of the attractions we visited were within easy reach ,abt 30min to every attractions. Ordering food delivery was also very easy, and if you prefer takeaway, there are plenty of restaurants and bubble tea shops downstairs in the shopping mall.
Breakfast included Yunnan Crossing-the-Bridge Rice Noodles and Steam Pot Chicken. The noodles were just so-so for my taste, but the chicken was really good. The broth was flavorful with a nice peppery taste.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again when we visit Kunming.

Guest UserThe room is very clean, bright and spacious. The facilities are very new, with electric curtains, automatic toilet, and very comfortable pillows, one soft and one hard. The hair conditioner received positive reviews from my sister-in-law, hahaha. There is a clothesline in the shower room, which is convenient. Convenient transportation, very close to the subway station. The service was very good. When checking in, we were given warm chrysanthemum water and hot towels to wipe off the dust from the journey. The breakfast is also good, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western restaurants. I am very satisfied with my stay, and my family members give it high praise. Recommended stay.

Guest UserFor anyone with kids who has a layover and an early flight the next morning, there's truly no better choice than this hotel! It's fantastic!
After collecting your luggage at the airport, just head to building 5 opposite the arrival hall, take the direct elevator to the 2nd floor, and you're there – super convenient. The absolute best part is that you can push the airport luggage cart *all the way to your room door*! You can keep pushing the cart the whole way, with all your luggage and kids on it. It saved so much effort!
Our room was also very clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure, making for a really comfortable shower. Traveling with kids and catching a flight usually involves a lot of hassle, but here we could rest comfortably for the night.
We had an 8:20 AM international flight the next day. From the hotel lobby, you just take the elevator up one floor to check in directly. The whole process took about 5 minutes! The kids could sleep in a bit longer, and we just woke them up closer to the time. It was truly stress-free!!!
If you're traveling with kids, especially for a layover or an early international flight, I highly recommend this place! It's convenient, saves effort, is clean, and so close to the airport. Staying here with kids for a night couldn't be more perfect!

**A Home Away from Home in Kunming**
Our stay at this homestay in Kunming was truly exceptional. The room was a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, thoughtfully designed with minimalist accessories that perfectly matched our taste. Cozy and inviting, it offered a sense of warmth and comfort that made us feel at home instantly. The view of the lake from our window added a touch of magic to our mornings and evenings.
The location is simply ideal. Situated in a peaceful area just 100–200 meters from the Ethnic Yunnan Village Park (also known as the Ethnic Minority Nationalitys Park), it allowed us to easily explore this cultural gem during a day trip, an experience we highly recommend. At the same time, the homestay is surrounded by quiet shops and local markets, making it both convenient and serene.
What truly set this place apart was the outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the hosts went out of their way to assist us, even arranging a Didi taxi to ensure we reached the homestay smoothly. Their kindness didn’t stop there, they helped us purchase tickets for cultural attractions, found an English-speaking guide when our Mandarin wasn’t sufficient, and took care of countless other details that made our stay effortless.
A highlight of our experience was Miss Zhang’s traditional Yunnan tea ceremonies. These sessions were not only a delight for the senses but also a wonderful opportunity to learn about the unique qualities of Yunnan teas and the art of brewing them. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, often joined by the owners, which led to lively, hours-long conversations filled with laughter and stories. It was these moments that made us feel like we were among friends rather than guests.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked the same room for our return in a week. We can’t wait to be back in this haven of warmth, culture, and comfort.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, memorable, and heartwarming experience in Kunming!

KintoriThe room was spacious, with great natural light and fresh air. In addition to free hot water and tea in the lobby, there are ceramic cups and a kettle in the room. Daily housekeeping, even if you leave the room late, or a change of all towels including shower mat, and water bottles refill. The bedsheets are changed every three days, or if needed even before. There is a clothes line in the shower in case you wash things by hand, and the hotel has a laundry room on the 2nd floor, which has two washing machines, an air dryer and lots of hangers, plus a steamer. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly, available 24/7. It is not far from the South Ring Rd. Metro station, or otherwise the hotel has a standby taxi that’s always available.

HaohuayoulunThe first time I visited Kunming in 2003, I stayed at the Jinhua International Hotel. I chose it for its excellent location, convenient transport options for non-drivers, and a wide variety of dining choices nearby. I've stayed here several times since, with my most recent visit being during the COVID-19 outbreak in春节 2020. This time, I noticed a significant improvement in room hygiene and the hardware facilities. Unfortunately, the service from some front desk staff was truly disappointing. They knew that room cards needed to be reset daily after 12 PM but failed to inform guests during check-in. This meant guests had to go up and down multiple times to get it sorted, which is particularly inconvenient since several floors of the building house other offices, requiring a wait for the elevator. During one such instance, I even experienced an elevator malfunction where it went up and down erratically with the doors slightly ajar. As for the TV, only one news channel is free; all others are pay-per-view.
