"The room was spacious, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, making it very clean and hygienic. There's a park nearby, which is great for walks. Downstairs, you'll find plenty of restaurants and tea shops, offering a wide variety of dining and drinking options. It's also conveniently located about one kilometer from Kunming Railway Station, making transportation easy. Plus, the service attitude was excellent!"

GGuest UserThe front desk service was very thoughtful; they proactively contacted me to let me know the hotel's location. You can check in your luggage and go through security on the third floor via the elevator, which is super convenient for catching early morning flights. The room was very clean. I highly recommend it to anyone needing to stay overnight at the airport!

GGuest UserThe room is very clean, bright and spacious. The facilities are very new, with electric curtains, automatic toilet, and very comfortable pillows, one soft and one hard. The hair conditioner received positive reviews from my sister-in-law, hahaha. There is a clothesline in the shower room, which is convenient. Convenient transportation, very close to the subway station. The service was very good. When checking in, we were given warm chrysanthemum water and hot towels to wipe off the dust from the journey. The breakfast is also good, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western restaurants. I am very satisfied with my stay, and my family members give it high praise. Recommended stay.

EemlmmThis hotel truly stands out, with friendly and helpful staff across the board—from the reception team to the driver and even the staff managing breakfast. The reception continued to keep us updated via messages, even after confirming our airport pickup while waiting for the driver. The two night-shift ladies staff went the extra mile by arranging early housekeeping so we could check in at 8am when a room became available after an early checkout. Our room was ready upon arrival. The room itself was spotless, though items like hand wash, body wash, and toilet paper could have been better replenished. That said, it was sufficient for our one-night stay. The hotel also provides quality disposable slippers and bottled water. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and thoughtful touches—like curtains that automatically close when the key card is inserted and motion-sensor lights that illuminate when you get out of bed in the dark—added to the experience. The driver was consistently cheerful and helpful, and the breakfast staff on 28 April 2026 showed great dedication by waiting for me to finish, even though I arrived just five minutes before closing and declined any refills. This hotel is a great choice for an overnight stay or if you have an early flight. A one-way car ride from the hotel to the city costs less than US$10, making it both convenient and affordable. Do not miss this great hotel!

GGuest UserI forgot to take photos during my last stay, so the pictures are of the room type from this visit. There are some differences, but you can still get an idea. **Amenities:** Very complete. It has everything a standard hotel should have. There aren't any toilet seat covers, so you'll need to bring your own. The bath towels are hotel-provided, and all the toiletries are there. **Cleanliness:** Everything looked quite clean. The bedding felt freshly washed and had a faint scent of disinfectant. **Environment:** It's a little bit away from the airport and the main road, so it's relatively quiet. With the window open, you can hear some planes taking off, but it's not very noticeable with the window closed, so you can definitely get a good night's sleep. **Service:** They offer airport shuttle service from 4:30 AM to 2 PM, with a bus every half hour. If you need a ride to the airport in the morning, you just need to let the front desk know in advance. They'll even call you half an hour before to wake you up. The front desk staff (both the young men and women) were all super patient. **Overall:** After looking at so many places, this one was the most satisfying. The price isn't expensive either, and the overall value for money is excellent. That's why I chose this place for both my outbound and return trips. I'll likely choose it again for future visits.

TTravis8Excellent location in Kunming for a first time in the city. The room is relatively small but quite reasonable and workable. Breakfast is good, noodle and rice noodle made to order. The instant filtered warm and hot water was excellent for having tea and not running out of water. Staff were great and helpful. I’d stay again

AAnonymous UserI stayed in Kunming for three nights and tried three different hotels. The first two, also near Tangzixiang and Dongfeng Square (basically close to a metro station convenient for the airport), either had terrible soundproofing or tiny rooms. All three were pretty much the same price, but this one actually deserves a good review. First off, the location is fantastic. Right across the street is Dongfeng Alley, full of great food. Next to the Yishengxiang Braised Noodles is a fruit stand where all the locals shop. They restock around 9 AM, so before my flight, I grabbed a basket of large blueberries for 52 RMB. When I got home and emptied them out, only two were bad; the rest were plump and fragrant. I wish I'd bought more! This hotel does have a couple of issues: first, the bed is too hard, the pillows aren't great, and the linens are subpar. Second, the elevator is small and slow. Luckily, I was on the third floor with minimal luggage, so I just took the stairs. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, was super sweet and provided excellent service!

GGuest UserKunming Zhenshi Woyun Boutique Hotel: An Ethnic Cultural Haven Hidden in the Bustling City In Kunming, a city known for its spring-like weather all year round, finding an accommodation that offers both the pulse of the city and a sense of tranquility is no easy feat. However, the Kunming Zhenshi Woyun Boutique Hotel (Nanping Pedestrian Street, Jinma Biji Archway Branch) perfectly achieves this balance. My recent stay deeply impressed me with its meticulous attention to environmental ambiance, facility configuration, hygiene standards, and service details, making it a truly 'local' cultural journey. 1. **Ambiance: Tranquility in the Bustle, A New View with Every Step** The hotel's location is superb, nestled in the heart of the bustling Jinma Biji Archway commercial district on Dongsi Street. Just a few dozen meters walk takes you to the Jinma Biji Archway, and Nanping Pedestrian Street is only 200 meters away, with an abundance of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The location is incredibly convenient. Yet, once you step into the hotel, the city's hustle and bustle fade away. The hotel adopts a traditional Chinese courtyard architectural style, with a meticulously designed central garden featuring flowing water and lush greenery, creating a serene atmosphere of 'mountains, water, and courtyard.' Strolling along the elevated corridors offers a new delightful view with every step. The rooftop garden on the third floor is particularly noteworthy; it's an excellent viewpoint directly facing the Jinma Biji Archway. In the evening, the sunset bathes the ancient city walls in golden light. Coupled with a cup of Pu'er tea, it's the perfect spot to savor Kunming's slow-paced life. 2. **Facilities: A Blend of Ethnic Charm and Modern Convenience** The hotel's facilities are infused with rich Yunnan ethnic charm. From the retro decor in the lobby to the artistic paintings in the corridors, and the wooden carved screens, Yi embroidery throw pillows, and bed runners in the rooms, every detail showcases the designer's ingenuity. The decorative vases in the rooms, with their ethnic characteristics, all embody an authentic Yunnan flavor. At the same time, the hotel has not overlooked the modern traveler's need for convenience. Thoughtfully provided bedside USB ports are available, along with white ceramic tea caddies containing Pu'er tea, Lincang black tea, and a Yunnan small-bean coffee set, which is more considerate than many other hotels. Some room types feature balconies with street views; the garden rooms on the top floor offer excellent views, encompassing both cityscapes and local life. Additionally, the hotel provides free parking, a laundry room, a self-service breakfast, and a complimentary DIY afternoon tea (11:00-18:00) at the second-floor lounge and lobby. While the facilities may not be extensive, they are highly practical and thoughtful. 3. **Hygiene: Spotlessly Clean, Attention to Detail** Hygiene is a crucial benchmark for hotel quality. In this regard, the Zhenshi Woyun Hotel excels. The entire hotel environment is clean and tidy, and the rooms are spotless. It's worth noting that the hotel's wet and dry separation design for towels is very user-friendly, and the towels themselves are of excellent quality, proving superior throughout my six-day Yunnan trip. The marble pattern on the vanity is beautiful. Bathrobes, bedding, and other items are all clean and tidy, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay. 4. **Service: Warm, Thoughtful, and Welcoming** The hotel staff's service attitude was a major highlight of my stay. From check-in to check-out, the front desk and staff were consistently warm and attentive. Regardless of how many times guests entered or exited, they would proactively greet everyone with a warm smile, making one feel incredibly welcome. They were happy to chat with guests, displaying the unique humor characteristic of Yunnan's ethnic minorities, making conversations very enjoyable. Whether it was borrowing items, having fruit delivered, or asking for recommendations for authentic local cuisine (such as wild mushroom hot pot restaurants or 'Qiaoxiangyuan' for Cross-Bridge Noodles), the front desk offered very practical advice, even sharing tips known only to locals, like recommending reliable car rental services to Dianchi Lake, Western Hills, and Longmen. This concierge-style service made me feel completely at home. In conclusion, the Kunming Zhenshi Woyun Boutique Hotel, with its unique location, culturally rich environment and facilities, high hygiene standards, and warm and thoughtful service, provides an unforgettable stay for travelers. It's not just a place to rest your head, but a 'home away from home' where you can deeply experience Kunming's urban charm and ethnic customs. If you're looking to enjoy the convenience of the city while finding inner peace and cultural immersion, this hotel is undoubtedly your best choice.

HHuoenxinqijiNo joke, this is an amazing hostel! The location is super convenient, right by the subway exit – just a 3-5 minute downhill walk. Step out of the hostel, cross the road, and go down some stairs, and you're right at Cuihu Park. If you walk in the opposite direction, it's about a ten-minute stroll to Zhengyi Road. They have both Western and squat toilets in the restrooms, and there are plenty of showers. The customer service was also fantastic!

GGuest UserEverything else was great, and they really do offer 24/7 airport pick-up/drop-off. The environment is also lovely, with a detached American-style house feel. The only downside is the significant amount of various noises. Specifically, the air conditioning in my bedroom made a loud noise whenever it was on, and it got very cold at night if it was off. Although there was an AC unit in the living room, I used it, but it didn't seem to do much. Additionally, the traffic noise from the road at night was quite loud, possibly because my room was close to the street. When you stay, you might want to ask the front desk for a room not too close to the road. Also, regarding the curtains, remember to close all the windows, otherwise, the sound of the wind blowing them around can be very noisy. However, even after closing all the windows, I still heard this kind of noise, which seemed to be coming from other rooms... So, that's about it. I hope this helps everyone!
