Guest UserThis trip to Macau with my parents was a pleasant surprise! To summarize, there are three main points:
1. We had two single beds and one double bed for three people, along with two bathrooms and two TVs – a delightful surprise!
2. Although the space wasn't huge, it was incredibly well-utilized and stylishly designed. We had a lot of luggage and various items, but everything fit perfectly without feeling cramped. We could slide our open suitcases directly under the large bed, eliminating the need to constantly open and close them. The bay window in the twin room was also big enough to lay out a suitcase, making it very convenient to access our belongings. Next to the bay window in the double room, there was a lounging area, which was great for the family to relax and watch TV together.
3. Lewis and Tina at the front desk were very thoughtful and provided complimentary breakfast vouchers. We stayed for two days, and the breakfast was semi-buffet style – you could order individual dishes for free, and the self-serve items changed daily. The stir-fried rice noodles were delicious. We also had lunch at the restaurant; the Western food was just as good as the Portuguese cuisine outside, and the steak was perfectly cooked. My parents were very happy and satisfied!
Here are a few minor suggestions:
1. The toilet paper holder design is a bit flawed; the paper tends to fall to the floor easily when pulled.
2. The shower stall's water barrier was a bit low, causing water to overflow after showering. We were still stepping in puddles when brushing our teeth the next morning.
3. There was construction happening outside the entrance during our stay (though we didn't hear any construction noise in our room, which was excellent), making it a bit inconvenient for calling taxis and parking. We hope the road can be repaired soon.

Although the room was small, it was well-arranged and efficiently utilized, so it didn't feel cramped at all. The shower room also felt spacious enough. Everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The surrounding area is also quite nice, but the main selling point is the superb location – it's just a 5-minute walk to the Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal and Senado Square, which is incredibly convenient. The staff were also absolutely top-notch. The value for money is excellent, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macau.

This hotel is pretty good. The price is very fair for Macau standards. The room is small, but I guess that's also normal for Macau. The toilet and shower were literally in a closet 😅
Pros: The staff is very friendly, and their English is excellent. The hotel is clean. It has everything you need for a stay – a hairdryer, toothbrushes, tea. There were even cookies, which were actually delicious!
Cons: The bed is VERY small. I'm so glad we only stayed one night because we slept terribly. It's impossible for two adults to comfortably fit on it. You're practically sleeping on top of each other. We kept waking up all night because of it.

Great location, around 15 min flat walk from Barra station, possibly the best budget accommodation with easy access from public transportation. Room was basic but clean, provided all I needed for a 1 night layover in Macau. There is a universal power outlet so no need to use a converter. Also within walking distance to most areas of interest in Macau center. Highly recommend

TheTravelerJoeGreat Stay in Macau, Close to the Ruins of St. Paul’s
We stayed at I Fu Hotel in Macau during our recent trip, and it turned out to be a great choice. What we loved most was its location—it’s just a short walk from the iconic Ruins of St. Paul’s, Senado Square, and many local shops and restaurants, making it very convenient for sightseeing.
The room was clean and comfortable, and it provided a cozy place to relax after spending the day exploring Macau. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.
One of the highlights of our stay was being able to wander around the historic center and enjoy Macau’s charm without worrying about transportation. Everything we wanted to see was easily accessible from the hotel.
Overall, I Fu Hotel offered great value for money and made our Macau trip even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay near the Ruins of St. Paul’s, I would definitely recommend it.

Junny LynneMy cousin and her husband stayed at Towns Well Motel during their trip to Macau, and overall, they had a good experience.
One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It’s very close to major attractions like Senado Square and other tourist spots, all within walking distance, which made exploring the city very convenient.
Their room was surprisingly spacious and clean, which they really appreciated after long days of घूमing around Macau. The value for money is also good, especially considering how central the hotel is.
However, they did mention that the hotel is a bit old and can be hard to find at first since it’s located along narrow streets and uphill paths. Transportation can also be slightly inconvenient, especially if you have luggage.
The staff were generally okay, though communication can sometimes be a challenge due to limited English.
Overall, it’s a practical and budget-friendly option for travelers who prioritize location and space over luxury. My cousin and her husband were satisfied with their stay and would still recommend it for short visits in Macau.

Anonymous UserThe room was very clean, and they provided disposable bedding and towels, contrary to some reviews claiming there were no towels. The price before the May Day holiday was really good. It's a bit of a walk to Senado Square, but there's a bus stop not far from the entrance, making it convenient to get to other major hotels and Senado Square. There's a restaurant right next door downstairs, and their Yangzhou fried rice is pretty good. If the hotel offers good prices in the future, I'd definitely choose this place again.

Mr’zengThis is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting the old district. The bus takes you directly there, and there are plenty of restaurants downstairs, as well as a supermarket for convenient shopping. It's close to the Ruins of St. Paul's and just a few hundred meters from the Municipal Affairs Bureau, making it super convenient for shopping. Highly recommended!
