2-Star Hotels in Macau

The hotel itself is great, very close to the bus stop. Just a few hundred meters behind the hotel, you'll find Love Lane and the Ruins of St. Paul's, surrounded by many delicious food options. However, I have urticaria. I hadn't had an outbreak in almost a year and a half, but it seems like the cleaning agent used on the hotel bathroom floor contains allergens. It was truly awful; the urticaria started itching right after I showered. 😓

Great budget stay in historic centre with good transport links This budget guesthouse is located right in the historic centre, with very convenient access to buses and even the metro. There are 24-hour convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, which was super handy. On the first day, we pressed the ”clean-up” button in the room, but nobody came. We later found out that you need to request cleaning at the reception – so keep that in mind! The room only had 2 towels, and drinking water is only available at the reception. However, the windows open, which is rare in this area, and we could dry our clothes – a huge plus! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable and well-located place in Macau. The PEI PARADISE HOTEL, a 2-star hotel on Rua Nova do Comércio, was a delightful surprise. It's perfect for independent travelers – a small yet charming hotel with plenty of great restaurants nearby and excellent transport links. The only minor drawback is that there are no regular TV channels, only YouTube and Netflix, which might be a bit tricky for some to navigate.

Great hotel with everything you need! I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Macau. The reception staff speak good English, which made check-in and communication very easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. I especially liked that the two beds can be pushed together to create one large bed, which makes the room a great option for couples as well as solo travelers. The bathroom was also very good, and the hotel provides absolutely everything you might need: toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel, and other basic amenities. You really don’t have to worry about bringing much with you. The Wi-Fi is also very easy to connect to. There are no complicated SMS codes or passwords, you simply scan a QR code and you’re connected. One thing to be careful about is the check-out time. It is taken quite seriously. Around 10 minutes before the official check-out time, hotel staff may already come to your room and ask you to leave so they can start cleaning. So if you need a little extra time, don’t expect much flexibility. The only other downside for me was the internet speed inside the room. The Wi-Fi felt quite slow, so I would recommend having a backup SIM card or mobile data, just in case. Overall, I really liked this hotel and would definitely recommend it. It is clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and suitable for both couples and solo travelers. A very solid choice for staying in Macau!

Great location, very close to Hong Kung Night Market and restaurants. The only downsides are that the shower curtain is too narrow, making it easy for water to splash out when showering, and there's no refrigerator. The air conditioning works very well, and we even received a small gift upon check-in. Highly recommended! 👍

Convenient Stay in the Heart of the City We stayed one night at Towns Well Motel and had a pleasant experience. The motel is in a strategic location, surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants, and local eateries, making it very convenient for travelers. Within a 10-minute walk, you can easily enjoy shopping at popular stores such as SaSa, Nike, Adidas, and Puma, as well as explore the nearby food and beverage options. The room was spacious enough for a comfortable stay, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable and conveniently located accommodation for a short stay.

The hotel's bedding and toiletries were all disposable, which felt very hygienic, and the disposable bath towels were surprisingly thick – you can tell they put thought into their procurement. The room floors were sparkling clean. The front desk staff were also very warm and patient in their communication. For this price, the hotel offers incredible value for money. I highly recommend everyone stay here; it's close to the Ruins of St. Paul's and other attractions. Oh, and to the right when you exit the hotel, there's a breakfast spot run by an old lady. You have to walk a bit, but her dim sum is really authentic. I saw many elderly gentlemen eating there. The portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable. This morning, two of us ate 4 dishes for only 68 RMB.

The room was great, exceptionally clean and hygienic. The front desk lady was very nice, providing excellent and enthusiastic service. The space was large and very comfortable to sleep in. Plus, it had a window for ventilation, which is great for air quality, as many hotels in Macau don't have windows. Late check-out was also a plus. There's a restaurant downstairs and even a massage place. It was absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍

The location is super convenient! Right outside, you'll find the Ruins of St. Paul's, and walking a bit further brings you towards Grand Lisboa and Wynn. There are tons of pharmacies, supermarkets, and restaurants on the street. Plus, there are bus stops that can take you to both the old and new parts of the city.

Great location 5 min from St Paul Ruins. Room was clean, modern, and quiet despite being central. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well. Staff were polite. No breakfast was fine since cafes nearby are cheap and good. Value for money is solid for solo travelers. Would book again if I just need a base to explore.
