Capella truly has a magical quality that makes you never want to leave once you're there.
The blond, blue-eyed bellboy was handsome and cheerful, calling me 'Ms. Chen' repeatedly, which made my heart flutter 🥰 (Sorry, I'm a sucker for good looks, but he really was handsome, folks!).
I arrived at the hotel at 9 AM and successfully checked in. The legendary welcome snack, Maltesers, was genuinely delicious [shy emoji]. An iPad can handle all your needs, so you no longer have to call to communicate requests... extremely social-anxiety friendly!!
All the services were incredibly thoughtful. I fell asleep within 15 minutes of my two-hour spa treatment [crying emoji]. The spa bed was surprisingly comfortable, like a giant air cushion. After the treatment, the therapist put slippers on my feet, placed the bathrobe on my lap, and adjusted the bed to a semi-sitting position, allowing me to change clothes without even getting out of bed [sobbing emoji]. It's hard to believe that among all the hotels I've stayed at during my solo trips, this is the first one that didn't place two pairs of slippers during the turndown service. Every time I see an extra pair of slippers, I get a strange feeling of déjà vu.
Personally, I think the breakfast here was quite impressive for Australia, offering both Spanish ham and hot Chinese congee. The service was very attentive and excellent.

The hotel is in a great location. Central to circular quay and darling harbour. Very close to wynards train station. Although on a steep road it’s not too far to walk from York street. Everything about the hotel was spotless from having the doors open everytime you entered or left the hotel. The only disappointment for us was the breakfast. We felt for what you are paying for the food wasn’t value for money. All in all a very nice hotel and would reccommend.

MuouranThe room was nice, and you can ask the front desk for kids' toothbrushes and slippers. The concierge was very friendly and helpful with luggage, and didn't expect a tip. Darling Harbour is lively, and everything is close by. A city walk around the CBD is a bit further, and Sydney has some really steep streets, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Guest UserStaying in W hotel was one of the thing that I always wanted to do when I was working around the Darling Harbour area. Everything about the location was great, especially during the night where the vivid event was on. Walking to the new Sydney fish market take only 20 minutes or so. Walking to QV market takes about 15 minutes, and seafood in Sydney is much better than Melbourne. Some great restaurants along the esplanade, and the cost of meal is actually very reasonable, and you would expect to pay as much in Thailand Bangkok. The view from the hotel room into the harbour is breathtaking 24 hours. I would wanted to just sit in the room and look at the view from my office desk in the hotel room.
However, the service was subpar. Long wait for check in and people in the hotel front desk are not friendly at all. I have had better service at LV boutique and Rolex stores.

Facilities: Well-equipped.
Cleanliness: Spotless.
Service: Exceptionally warm and welcoming.
The buffet restaurant managed to find us a table even though we didn't have a reservation on the night we arrived, which made the kids very happy.
It's very close to the aquarium, and the whale watching pier is also nearby. It was a really great stay, and the kids felt the staff's enthusiasm, even trying to speak English, which was an unexpected bonus!

Hygiene: Very good.
Environment: Right in the city center, within walking distance to many places, super convenient.
Service: There's a washing machine and a dryer, which is very handy. The only small thing is that there are two paintings on the wall that look a bit scary at night 😂.
Facilities: The photos accurately represent the actual facilities, and the overall feeling is very good. Just be aware that you'll need to go up and down a few flights of stairs.

Guest UserThe hotel is conveniently located, close to the beach and a popular coffee shop. The service is good and the food is good.
Except for the two rooms where the automatic curtains could not be opened and took a long time to repair (probably because the hotel is not new after all, but it can be seen that the maintenance is quite good), and Ctrip booked the wrong room type, the rest is generally OK.
Ctrip booked the wrong room, which is not the hotel's fault, but it does affect the experience. The hotel could not give me the room because the room type I booked was fully booked that day, but the attitude of the front desk to try to solve the issue is quite good.
The hotel staff are very nice, so the overall experience is still OK.

Like: location is perfect, lots of good restaurants around within walking distance.
Dislike: be aware of what street the room facing. It’s loud at night, ppl talk and laugh can hear very clearly.
Services: overall are good, I’ve been staying meriton many times in many locations, but this one Meriton on Kent was disappointing. I’ve asked baby amenities before my trip start but never got any as they promised they’ve been noted and prepared.
Special note: at the checked in they gave us a small room facing loud street and construction site( we booked a higher price of room and staying 5 nights)。
They had originally agreed to change our room. However, due to a communication gap among the staff the next day, it took quite a long time to resolve the misunderstanding before the room change was finally completed.
*the cafe next to Meriton has the best fresh squeeze juice ever, we bought it every morning! And the muffins are my babies favorite!

MeganGreat value for money, right on George Street! The room was very spacious and came with a washing machine and dryer, which was fantastic for the price.
**Cleanliness:** The room was very clean, but do keep in mind that as a serviced apartment, it doesn't get daily cleaning.
**Facilities:** It has a small kitchen, fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and even dish soap.
**Location:** Being on George Street is super convenient. You can easily hop on the 'Ding Ding' tram or just walk to explore.
**Service:** The front desk staff were very polite and always greeted me proactively.

We had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!
