Spa Hotels in Sydney

We had a wonderful stay at Capella Sydney. Our sincere thanks to Rebecca Chan and Kelly Huang for thoughtfully arranging our rooms and making our family feel so warmly welcomed. We would also like to thank Monica Cisneros for the delicious macarons—they were a lovely and thoughtful surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the hotel’s elegant interior, which beautifully combines classic heritage character with refined modern design. Every detail made the stay feel calm, comfortable, and special. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience. Capella Sydney will definitely be our first choice whenever we have the opportunity to return to Sydney.

It's really convenient for getting to the airport, and there's a big supermarket nearby which is great for cooking your own meals. If you're heading into the city on a weekday, the train is super easy. On weekends, though, some train lines don't run, so you have to switch to a tram, which is a bit of a hassle. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Sydney.

My husband and I had a wonderful three-night stay at Meriton Suites Chatswood in Sydney. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to both the train station and a large shopping mall, making it very convenient. Our room was spacious and bright, with a modern design, and came equipped with a complete kitchen and laundry facilities. This allowed us to cook and do laundry at our leisure, making it feel just like home. The high-floor view was stunning, especially at night overlooking the illuminated North Shore, which really enhanced the romantic atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, making us feel very comfortable. We had three peaceful nights of rest, and during the day, we explored Chatswood's dining and entertainment options, returning to the hotel in the evenings for tranquility and comfort. This stay left a deep impression on us; it was both convenient and cozy, making it the most commendable accommodation choice during our trip to Sydney.

Great for a family trip! The rooms are a bit dated, but not in a worn-out way. It has an old-money vibe with new-money amenities, haha! The breakfast definitely deserves a special mention; it's excellent. I much prefer it to the breakfasts at many other 'star-rated' hotels. The front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful. It’s perfect for family travel, and it’s convenient to walk to many places. The only downside is that it can be noisy at night. The first night, there were police sirens wailing, and on weekends, there's noise from the bars… Aside from the noise, everything else is perfect! If you're exhausted from exploring all day, you'll probably fall right asleep, so it's still a good option.

Extremely satisfied with this business trip. It was very convenient to walk to the conference center from the hotel, and even on a rainy day, it was manageable without an umbrella. There are many dining options behind the hotel, and Town Hall is about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel is relatively new, which perfectly suits my principle of choosing newer accommodations over older ones.

The hotel's amenities are really subpar; it's nothing like a 4-star hotel. Sofitel properties in China are much better configured. I stayed at their hotels in Sydney and Gold Coast this trip, and I definitely won't be staying with this brand again. The bathroom sink was like something out of a hostel – small, single basin, and so low and shallow that when you wash your face or hands, water splashes all over your waist and stomach. We arrived quite late on the first day, and the air conditioning wasn't central, it was very noisy, and the fridge also made a lot of noise. Plus, we were at the end of a hallway. I contacted Ctrip customer service; we couldn't switch rooms on the second day, but they moved us on the third. However, in the new room, the toilet seat didn't have a soft-close mechanism, so it would either slam shut or just fall down. The towels were placed on a tiny shelf – I don't know if that's a deliberate design choice by the hotel? Anyway, it's hard to put into words… all the rooms are at the end of hallways. I absolutely will not stay at any Sofitel brand hotels again… This is my second time in Australia this year, and it's winter, the off-season. Hotel prices were higher than what I booked in February, and my experiences in Gold Coast and Sydney were disappointing… Cairns was even worse, essentially a hostel-level hotel by Chinese standards, with twin beds less than 1 meter wide each… When booking a hotel, it really has to be an international brand, but Sofitel is a chain, and the one in Sydney was truly bad…

I absolutely loved the location and overall environment of this accommodation for our recent stay. It was a huge plus for our family trip. The hotel is right above a subway station, making transportation incredibly convenient. We could reach Central in just one stop, and getting to various attractions and shopping areas downtown was a breeze, saving us from long walks or transfers. For a trip with different sights planned each day, this convenient location truly made traveling much easier. The surrounding area also has excellent amenities. There's a supermarket about a two-minute walk away, which was perfect for picking up breakfast, drinks, fruits, or daily necessities. Even on a multi-day trip, we could maintain a rhythm similar to being at home. The living space was one of the aspects I was most satisfied with. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfectly suited for a family of four. The two separate bedrooms gave everyone their own private resting space, unlike the often cramped layouts of typical hotel rooms. Additionally, having a washing machine and dryer in the room was incredibly practical for a family on a long trip, allowing us to do laundry anytime and significantly reduce our luggage burden. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive, with a swimming pool and a gym. The kids could enjoy some relaxed playtime in the water, and the adults could keep up with their exercise routines. Overall, our stay felt comfortable, convenient, and truly like a home away from home.

First time in Sydney and I snagged a fantastic hotel! The location is pretty central with great transport links and a ton of restaurants and drink shops nearby (McDonald's, KFC, Jasmine Milk Tea, Super Tea, etc.). There are also two supermarkets, Woolworths and Coles, both within easy reach, making grocery runs super convenient. Plus, it's just a few minutes' walk to Town Hall, Town Hall train station, and the light rail station. The hygiene was good too; they cleaned the room every three days, and if we had any trash, we'd just take it to the rubbish room ourselves. The only downside was the strong cooking smell from the restaurant at night, especially on Fridays, which would waft into the room even with the door closed. After we mentioned it to the hotel, they offered to move us to a higher floor.

Great value for money, right on George Street! The room was very spacious and came with a washing machine and dryer, which was fantastic for the price. **Cleanliness:** The room was very clean, but do keep in mind that as a serviced apartment, it doesn't get daily cleaning. **Facilities:** It has a small kitchen, fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and even dish soap. **Location:** Being on George Street is super convenient. You can easily hop on the 'Ding Ding' tram or just walk to explore. **Service:** The front desk staff were very polite and always greeted me proactively.

Beautiful hotel to visit in the city and staffs are very kind and nice. Very short distance to Barangaroo reserve, perfect place to stroll after dinner.
