Buffet breakfast Food was good especially the omelette. Actually services were so good and very efficient to clean up the table even though we just stepped out to grab more food A card that indicate the table is taken and return the card when complete of the meal may help. The smart view TV is nice as we may project our cell phone to TV to enjoy. However, internet connection wasn’t that good. View not good as block by the Sydney Tower. Location is excellent for shopping.

Great location but a bit pricey for the hotel. Not quite certain it qualifies to be a five star hotel as I have stayed in many hotels across Asia and Middle East. Breakfast buffet was not up-to scratch to my standards. Omelette order is taken privately by the waiter rather than seeing your omelette jn action. Pastry variety was okay. There was no official coffee station as order is taken on arrival. Good this was children under 12 are free.

We chose this hotel for its location. Just step outside and you can hop on a tram to head down to Circular Quay or up towards Broadway. Great view from room too. The hotel was very clean; the foyer, the elevators, the hallways and the room. The extra bed for our teenager was very uncomfortable and certainly not worth the quoted $110 per night. We had to ask for extra towels/cup/glassware as there were three of us in the room. The main bed was comfortable but one of the legs/wheels was broken. The main television in the room did not work at all for the first 24 hours of our stay due to a ”global network failure”. It was only after this was fixed that we were able to discover the amenities/facilities offered by the hotel. Complimentary water bottles were only replenished once in a three-night stay, and used glasses were not always replaced/washed by housekeeping. The staff were pleasant enough but I expected a better overall experience staying at Hilton Sydney.

The first day was almost spoiled by a giant roach that decided our room belonged to him. However the staff, particularly at the concierge/bellhop area were consistently great and they were very helpful and friendly. The hotel's corridors were really showing their age with the peeling wallpaper, but the rooms themselves were fine. Oh and the roach? We rang reception and they immediately changed our rooms!

Great location. Nice view of the museum. Nice choice of cups and mugs. Uncomfortable duvets and way too tucked. Breakfast wasn’t great, a bit disappointing for Intercontinental, not very fresh or nicely displayed as it was separated between two small rooms. And we had to wait a while for the staff to notice us and let us in, we weren’t able to choose where to sit either even though it was mostly empty. We were surprised as we had tried the M*rriot breakfast in the same neighborhood which was much better, from the quality of the products, to the selection or the way we were welcomed.

The hotel is easily accessible from the train station (as it is a slight downhill). The staff, from being met with a wide smile by the concierge to the check-in staff, are friendly, professional and just a joy to interact with. The rooms are well appointed, bathrooms absolutely spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is good, but very few Asian options available. It should be noted that Google maps is not truthful about the fact this part of Sydney is ”mostly flat”... so walking shoes are a MUST as the hotel is so very close to a number of wonderful places to see, explore and enjoy a meal.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Great price for the location. Easy access to Town Hall train/light rail stations and Museum station, which we used everyday. Easy access to the airport. Since the hotel is in the middle of shops, restaurants, and bars in central areas, it can get pretty loud at night, even with the windows shut and curtains closed. However, we didn't mind the noise.

My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3. The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”. Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review. 1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels. 2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative. 3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious. 4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable. Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!

BBim VlogPerfect location and clean hostel. The beds are comfortable and clean. They have personal luggage storage in the shared room just bring your padlock . Toilets are great with hot and cold showers. However, they don't have bidet, so if you're someone who uses bidet, then this place is not for you. They also have a good kitchen to cook your favorite dishes. The staff are good they are friendly and accommodating. I just don't like their strict check out policy. I was at the toilet and exceeded 5min before checking out, but when I tried to open the shared room to get my luggage, I could not open it anymore they deactivated the keycard already which is really rude. Maybe you can give consideration when it comes to checkout time.

JJosephWe checked in on 16 Dec and checked out on 23 Dec (room 1311). The Location was near most attractions we wanted to visit, with many eatery selections. We were pleasantly surprised when the hotel upgraded our stay. We opted for daily breakfast, which saved us time searching for food in the early morning when most were not open since our breakfast time is usually very early. However, the choices are mostly the same throughout our stay, which is boring after the second day. Room cleanliness needs to be improved, as crumbs left by previous visitors were not vacuumed even after I feedback to housekeeping. Though there were 3 of us, only 2 bath towels were provided and I had to repeat my request twice before this was corrected. Not sure who is the ID who designed the bathroom, but the placement of the shower faucet is in the wrong place (just need to look at pictures on the website). The hand soap is weirdly placed far away from the basin and the tap extends to the middle of the basin, so there's no way you can bend down to wash your face or spit out after brushing your teeth without spitting onto the tap. I've stayed in many hotels but this is the first hotel I find a sprinkler in the bathroom. Not sure if it's a fire safety requirement, but I find it quite funny when there's no lack of water in the bathroom. Overall, the stay was still very pleasant and even with all the feedback, we probably will still choose Furama when we visit Sydney.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in an excellent location in the heart of the Sydney CBD. The rooms are spacious and clean however a bit dated. Although the room was pre-paid my card was charged for a second time. I pointed this out to the front desk staff and it was quickly resolved although I wonder how often that happens. The entire hotel is in need of a refurb so not sure the rooms are worth the price however it served my purposes and was not a bad experience.

RR Katy YMy family of 3 checked in early around noon. We stayed at a lovely 1 bedroom apartment on e 2nd level with a balcony which overlooks e street below. Apartment was spacious, amenities provided were sufficient though one could request for more when necessary. What we loved best was e location which was so convenient for us to check out different places of Sydney. We ended up walking to our destinations most of e time while enjoying e weather and scenery. There was ample food choices all around e hotel too. Apart from a busier and noisier street during e weekend, which usually dies down by midnight, my family and I had a great stay in Rydges.

GGuest UserWe booked this accommodation due to its proximity to a nearby stadium venue, where we were going to in the evening. We were advised by ”in the know friend” that the overall area is not the kind you want to be out socially alone in after dark hours. This was evident, as 2 Police officers were in the sporting club venue, as we arrived back around midnight, looking for a person of interest. This was of no concern to us, we were not asked questions by the police, It's just that the police had the only staff working that night, attending to their needs. As part of the accommodation offer, we were generously offered a free drink of wine or beer. We were looking to have a drink before retiring to our rooms, so the staff were caught up with the police officers. My group did to other things, like checked out the TAB and seating in the bar area while waited. ( all very clean & tidy btw) We were eventually attended to and we move on, No worries there, my comments are just to highlight the overall societal concerns of Greenacres area after dark, as we could briefly hear the conversations and requests between the police and staff. Nevertheless. just speaking about the accomodation, my room was very clean & tidy, I appreciated the air conditioner being on already, as I entered the room. I had all the basic necessities that I needed: towel, fridge, kettle etc. The bathroom & toilets were shared, it was disappointing to see one that in one of the two toilets available, had broken seat that wasn't hinged to the toilet (it looked untidy and it was unknown for how long the seat has been broken). Overall I was very comfortable, i felt safe, I had a great sleep. The next morning, I took advantage of the 2 minute walk to the nearby supermarket for some groceries, the Sunday morning staff all greeted me with a ”good morning,” which was pleasant to hear and made me smile. Returning items to the fridge in my room, I then went back out for a walk lovely walk in the sunshine along the shopping *****, for fresh coffee & food from one of the many family run bakeries just 1 minute down the street from the accommodation. Overall i had a nice pleasant experience!
