NOVOTEL Shaoxing Keqiao
"My stay was on 23-24 Mar and outside temp was about 11-12 degC. I set the room aircon to 20-22 degC but according to the front desk, the aircon is centralized control, cannot be controlled within the room. I woke up in middle of night because the room temp is 25-26 degC which is considered too warm for me. I opened the window for the 2nd night but to no avail, room temp is still 25-26 degC, I did not have good sleep for the 2 nights."
Wyndham Shaoxing Keqiao
"This stay was fantastic, I have to give it a huge thumbs up! - Location: The hotel is very easy to find, conveniently located, very close to the subway station, and there are plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping nearby. - Service: The front desk staff (specifically, the lady) had a superb attitude. Check-in was quick, and she thoughtfully explained the breakfast times and facilities. The housekeeping staff also cleaned the room promptly."
Jishan Literary Hotel
"The hotel is right next to the ancient city gate, and the night view is stunning. The facilities, hygiene, and environment are all good, and the service is very warm. We even received a souvenir when checking out. The only thing that could be improved is adding a partition outside the bathroom, especially since most families booking family rooms have older children."
Manju Hotel(Shaoxing Ke Qiao Wanda )
"Good for Indians as very to Kashish Indian food paradise in China"
Shaoxing Hotel
"The hotel is nestled at the foot of Fushan Mountain, just tens of meters from the Fushan Park entrance. It boasts a serene environment, but public transportation isn't very convenient. We were given a room without an elevator, located right next to a construction site, with no view whatsoever. For this price point, the conditions are definitely not worth it."
Dongyueli Hotel (Shaoxing Downtown Area Cangqiao Straight Street)
"The worst check-in experience ever, I'm furious! 1. **Parking instructions are useless.** The butler sent parking directions in advance, but when we arrived at the garage using navigation, it was already full and closed. They didn't notify us beforehand or arrange alternative parking, leaving us to wait around and waste time. 2. **Valet parking is an absolute joke (Pics 2, 3).** They advertised valet service, but only one manager in the entire hotel could drive. We had two cars checking in during a holiday, and the other car was chased by traffic police for five or six blocks. We had to wait for the manager the whole time – it was incredibly disruptive. 3. **False advertising, zero integrity.** The butler promised valet parking was available anytime, but it actually only operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We had drinks in the evening and wanted staff to move the car for charging, but couldn't. Then, when we were rushing to check out early in the morning, there was no staff to drive the car to the hotel. Their promises were all empty words. The front desk just made excuses and didn't solve the problem. In the end, it was Trip.com customer service that helped us out. 4. **Seriously substandard hygiene.** Photos taken right after check-in (Pics 4-6) show dust everywhere in the room, and even hair around the toilet. The hygiene details were completely neglected. 5. **If you're traveling with kids or have allergies, DO NOT come here! There are tons of mosquitoes and bugs!!** The hotel is right by the river (Pic 7). It's also a pet-friendly hotel, and being next to the river means there are loads of mosquitoes and bugs when it's warm. Our elders stayed in a ground-floor room by the riverside green belt. They woke up with mosquito bites on their ankles and thighs, and a skin rash with redness on their arms (Pics 8-10) – it was a terrible ordeal. 6. **Advertised amenities are a false gimmick (Pic 11).** The qipao experience listed on the page was never mentioned by anyone and completely unfulfilled. Pure false advertising. I've stayed in many hotels during holidays, but I've never seen a place with such bad service, poor hygiene, zero integrity, and amenities that are all just for show! I advise all travelers to steer clear and don't spend your money just to suffer!"
Xianheng Hotel
"This hotel is right in the center of the Shaoxing tourist location. Excellent five star hotel! Big room and excellent, modern facilities. Excellent breakfast. Excvellent service."
Nanyuan e-Home Hotel (Shaoxing East Station Wanhe City Branch)
Atour Hotel Joy City, Lu Xun Hometown, Shaoxing
"Very good location being near the key tourist spots (鲁迅古居,沈园,仓桥直街 etc) and a big mall (大悦城) with plenty of good eateries around. Walking distance to these places. Friendly staff and super clean rooms as with the usual Atour standard. The porridge supper tops off the experience. This is the 4th time we stayed in an Atour hotel this year. For sure we’ll come back. 😊"

New Century Grand Hotel
"Hesitated long time before booking this hotel given some comments were very discouraging. Happy that I did book. I booked for the location & the swimming pool. The no reception and app download check-in process are indeed very uncommon with staff not welcoming nor particularly polite as it feels they’re annoyed and want to go back to their phone, but this can be cleared quickly. Apart from that which I was expecting, WiFi is just not working, forget about it. All the rest was beyond my expectations. Good soundproofing in 17F, decent hygiene, good breakfast with plenty of options including local dishes, good beds. Elevators are indeed very slow to go down but go up quickly. Location is perfect to do most site visiting by walking, many food and drinks options around, good view and convenient for taxi and didi. Special point : there’s a sign downstairs with recommended itinerary for site visiting and food options during three days. We followed and found the tips very adequate. I will keep that app and come back to this hotel if travel to Shaoxing again."
Crowne Plaza SHAOXING by IHG
"The room was spacious and quiet, especially on a higher floor. The service was excellent, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. It's not far from the attractions, and getting around by taxi or shared e-bike was very convenient. I'm satisfied. Highly recommend for family trips."
Hilton Shaoxing Hotel and Residences
"The Hilton Shaoxing Suning Hotel & Apartments truly exceeded my expectations! Located in the heart of Jinghu, right next to Suning Plaza, it offers incredibly convenient access to attractions like Lu Xun's former residence. The hotel perfectly blends the aesthetic of Jiangnan ink wash painting with modern luxury. The lobby is elegant and grand, and the guest rooms are spacious and bright with stunning views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding is comfortable, the bathroom is exquisitely designed, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making the entire process from check-in to check-out efficient and warm. The dining experience was excellent; the all-day dining buffet was abundant, and the Chinese restaurant offered a delightful fusion of local flavors and Cantonese cuisine that truly impressed my palate. The heated pool and gym facilities are well-equipped. The apartment-style rooms are perfect for extended stays, providing a real home-away-from-home feel. Whether for business travel or a family vacation, this is an excellent choice for accommodation in Shaoxing. Highly recommended!"
Yunhe Yebao Hotel (Shaoxing Olympic Sports Center Branch)

Shaoxing Jinmaila Platinum Hotel
"Many problems with this hotel, the breakfast was overpriced for what you get, the tv was broken, there was no wifi password and location isn’t good. Don’t waste the extra ¥100 here. Just get a budget hotel"
Grand House Shaoxing
"I've been longing to stay at Shaoxing Dayu Kaiyuan Guantang, especially on a rainy day. Finally, from May 26-28, it rained, and I got my wish to visit Dayu Kaiyuan. That afternoon, the front desk attendant kindly upgraded us from a garden-view villa in phase one to a courtyard villa in phase two. She also thoroughly explained the hotel's facilities and suggested sightseeing routes. There was even a shuttle to take us to our room. The hotel was formerly the ancient village of Yuzhou, a classic Jiangnan waterside town with a river running through it, white walls and black tiles, ancient Ming and Qing dynasty mansions, cobblestone alleys, and an old opera stage. The rainy old village perfectly embodied the misty charm of Jiangnan. The food at Yujia Courtyard was delicious, and I definitely want to come back and stay for a few more days."
Youchao · Dili Resort Hotel (Shaoxing Keqiao Ancient Town Scenic Area Branch)
"This hotel is great! It was my first time staying inside a scenic area, and I finally got to experience the convenience. The entire town is also very interesting, and the featured performances were clearly excellent. My first impression of staying in this 'misty Jiangnan' town was how comfortable it felt. Walking with an umbrella on the stone paths in the light rain, listening to the patter, made me feel like a part of the town. The ripples in the river caused by the rain were mesmerizing. You can really get a sense of the 'misty Jiangnan' atmosphere. There are also many photogenic spots in both the town and the hotel. It's definitely my top choice for a trip, mainly because it's not tiring at all!"
The Origin Hotel(Shaoxing Olympic Sports Center Municipal Government)
"This was one of the most satisfying hotels we chose for our trip. What really impressed me was the hotel's motto: 'Humanized details!', visible at the front desk, in the rooms, and even on the key cards. This principle was fully reflected in the staff's service and the room's amenities. It was my first time experiencing staff showing us the room beforehand to see if we were satisfied; my first time seeing special hooks under the air conditioning vent for guests to hang clothes; and the upgraded room even came with a massage chair, simple fitness equipment, various fast-charging cables, and an adjustable tea table... The front desk also offered various flavors of free popsicles, which could be delivered to the room with just a phone call! Everything was geared towards guest service at this hotel, truly living up to its name, 'Source of Warmth!' It would be absolutely perfect if the breakfast could be improved a bit more. 🤓👍"
Shaoxing Kaiyuan Life Hotel (Luxun Hometown Subway Station Cangqiao Straight Street)
"The room's location is great, right next to the subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere, and dining is also super easy. Plus, many places are within walking distance. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends next time."
Wassim Hotel (Shaoxing Lu Xun's Hometown)
"It was a great experience overall. The Ctrip recommendation was very helpful; the hotel offered excellent value for money, a great price, and a convenient location not far from the main scenic area. There are also many lively restaurants nearby. The hotel facilities were well-designed and clean. The only drawback was the attention to detail; the showerhead sprayed water everywhere, and when turned on, it sprayed water directly down from the ceiling, making it difficult to dodge. However, this minor flaw doesn't detract from the overall experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you very much to Ctrip for the recommendation."
Shaoxing Marriott Hotel Shangyu
"Much better than last experience here. Congrats!"
Shaoxing Xianheng Grand Hotel (Lu Xun's hometown Yintai store)
"The hotel is within walking distance of attractions such as Lu Xun's Former Residence. The rooms are spacious with large and comfortable beds, and the breakfast is plentiful and reasonably priced. The hotel also offers a free sauna for guests."
Shaoxing Haitang Wenyuan Hotel (Lu Xun's Hometown)
"This courtyard-style hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient to visit Lu Xun's former residence and other attractions. It's right next to Grand Joy City and IFC, with small streets on both sides filled with snacks and restaurants. The A Zhong Shaobing and Chongqing noodles were delicious; arriving around 3 PM, I was probably hungry, but they tasted amazing! The hotel room was exactly as depicted in the promotional pictures, overall very good. The complimentary tickets to the North Latitude 30° Pavilion were a fantastic surprise – that pavilion is absolutely brilliant! You *must* see the 360° surround movie inside. The entire pavilion is meticulously and thoughtfully designed, with various large-screen displays that are incredibly vivid. It's also perfect for kids, a definite must-visit. Surprisingly, it's not very crowded, which many people might not realize."
Shaoxing BTG Nanyuan Hotel
"This is a solid choice for travelers looking for a high-quality stay."
DAYU LIJING HOTEL
"Super satisfied. The location is very good. There are many restaurants nearby. If you don’t like spicy food, I recommend New Bailu. The hotel lobby is just a minute away. It’s very convenient. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable, and the price is very reasonable. I will definitely choose this hotel next time I come. Laundry is also very convenient, there is a washer and dryer. Although the restaurant is small, the food in the small restaurant tastes great. It's just a few minutes away from the subway station, so it's very convenient to go to Hangzhou."
Jia Yue Hotel
"Rooms 8512 and 8516 are connecting, and they're spacious with one king bed and one 1.2m bed, which is perfect for families! The decor is simple and soft, ideal for a younger crowd. The curtains are fully automatic. They provide both regular towels and disposable non-woven towels and bath towels. The toilet in the bathroom is fully automatic and very clean, so there's no need to bring your own toiletries. It's a few minutes' drive from Keqiao Ancient Town (which has a great night view), and there's a large commercial complex about a 10-minute walk away on the northeast side. Hotel parking is free; just tell the front desk when you're leaving, and they'll open the gate, very convenient! The breakfast is very plentiful, with both Chinese and Western options, including noodles, rice noodles, wontons, sweet potatoes, bread, pastries, coffee, drinks, porridge, fried dough sticks, and a variety of fruits – you can grab whatever you like! Bottled water in the lobby, and water, drinks, and small pastries in the room are all complimentary. Near the elevators, there are also tissues, disinfectant wipes, cotton swabs, candies, and red/green tea bags available for self-service, which shows great attention to detail! Minor drawback: There's only one chair in the room. If multiple people visit your room (for tea), most will end up sitting on the bed as there's no other seating. I personally think it could use a sofa, a lounge chair, or another chair. Overall, thank you! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shaoxing!"
