My stay this time was incredibly comfortable. The room was spotless, and the mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—perfect for relaxing and getting a full night's sleep. The mini-fridge in the room was really convenient for chilling drinks and fruit. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were very pleasant. The hot water in the bathroom was consistent, and the soundproofing was also quite good. Overall, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to anyone traveling.

Facilities: The facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious, and the kids loved the tatami beds. The baseboard heater was always on, so we basically didn't need to turn on the air conditioning. Hot water was plentiful. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was good, with no major flaws. Environment: The environment is first-class. It's the only guesthouse located within the Keyan Scenic Area, so guests don't need to buy tickets to enter the scenic area. It's perfect for families to book during holidays, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views privately before the morning and evening rush hours. Service: The manager is very professional, a smart and hardworking young man, and extremely enthusiastic in his service. During our stay, we even encountered the owner's wedding procession and received some wedding candy. The owner must be a very good person to be able to hire such excellent staff.

Back again to the Dongshan Daguan Hotel in Shaoxing 🏨, and it truly surprised me in so many ways! It's definitely worthy of its spot on Zhejiang's best food hotels list and absolutely deserves a 5-star rating ✨. 🌟 Culinary Experience: Simply outstanding! As a foodie, their restaurant is my absolute favorite! Authentic Shaoxing flavors paired with exquisite plating – you can taste the chef's dedication in every dish!~ 💯 Service Details: So incredibly heartwarming! I have to give a special shout-out to Eddie at the front desk! Knowing it was our wedding anniversary, he not only arranged room decorations 🎈 but also surprised us with a cake 🍰! That warmth, especially during a typhoon, was truly touching!~ 📌 Insider Tips: 1️⃣ Highly recommend for couples for honeymoons or anniversaries; the butler service is incredibly attentive. 2️⃣ The restaurant is a must-visit! Suggest booking a window seat in advance. 3️⃣ The hotel grounds are super photogenic, remember to bring a beautiful dress! 👗 4️⃣ If the weather is good, definitely take a walk by the lake; sunset is absolutely stunning! 🌅 I've already recommended it to all my friends! An absolutely perfect vacation! The room was incredibly comfortable, with high ceilings, spacious interiors, and understated yet elegant decor. I could have easily spent both days just relaxing in the room. The hotel is nestled in the serene and beautiful Hanfei River Valley, and you can take a cable car up to the mountaintop for stunning views. The hotel service was also excellent; you can request a car transfer anywhere within the hotel grounds at any time. Our butler, Helen, provided thoughtful and enthusiastic service from even before our arrival, proactively offering information to ensure a smooth trip. She continued to follow up on all our needs throughout our stay, making this vacation truly delightful! The hotel's Tingtao Pavilion restaurant was also fantastic. We had dinner there twice, and the chef's recommended dishes were truly delicious and well worth trying.

We stayed at this resort for a two-night, three-day trip, and while the building and location were visually impressive, our overall experience fell short of expectations, especially for international travelers. First, the golf course was not well-maintained and did not resemble the pristine images shown online. Additionally, while the archery court was fine, it lacked proper safety protections, making it a concern for families traveling with young children. Despite being branded as an Italian resort, there was no functioning Italian restaurant during our stay, which was quite disappointing. Even though the breakfast was really good, the food options for lunch and dinner were very limited, especially for non-Chinese guests. As visitors from Nepal, we found it difficult to enjoy the meals, and one member of our group who is vegetarian struggled even more to find suitable food options. There were no alternative dining options nearby, so if you don’t bring snacks or food with you, your choices are extremely restricted. Another challenge was the language barrier. Only one staff member could speak basic English, which made communication quite difficult at times. While the venue might be suitable for events like weddings or photoshoots due to its scenic appearance, it’s not ideal for a relaxing getaway unless you come with your own activities planned. Without that, there isn’t much to do onsite, and the lack of entertainment, food variety, and language support made the experience feel isolating. Overall, this resort has potential, especially in terms of architecture and ambiance, but it still needs significant improvements in service, food, and international accessibility to truly be welcoming for global guests.

Overall, the hotel was great, and we had a fantastic two-night stay with the kids. The room size was decent, and the view outside in April was a lovely green, very comfortable. Miss Duck reached out to us in advance, she was super enthusiastic, sending us information on all the activities ahead of time and fulfilling every request. She even brought us fruit and sparklers! 🫶 Exceeded our expectations. Facilities: The outdoor playground for kids is large with a good variety of play equipment, pretty good. The indoor play area is indeed quite small, so it's better to come on a sunny day. Food and drinks at the hotel, like coffee and cake, weren't expensive. In the evening, there were bonfire and movie activities, which created a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast was very rich and varied, with all the local specialties. The roasted sweet potatoes and noodles were delicious! We'll definitely come back again.

I stayed a few times and the facilities in the room are very complete. The room is very clean and tidy when I look inside. The front desk staff are also very good. If you need anything, they can help and reply in time. Overall, I feel good. The location belongs to the city center. It is very close to the Passenger Transport Center, Grand Theater and Science and Technology Museum. It is a 5-minute walk. It is great. Wanfeng is also there for eating, playing and shopping. It is super convenient.

Beautifully located about 1.7km from city center at a quiet residential area which is very peaceful and serene next to a river. It's easily access by online taxi booking. We love the awards winning Southen Song Dynasty design of the property , however we noticed that the management didn't really put in efforts to upkeep the place. We stayed in the garden room on the ground floor which we have access to the Riverside garden. It's a shame that the garden are not maintained and the furniture in the garden are not clean to tho use. I'm sorry to say that staffs attitude are pretty standard or below, not warm nor cold , didn't make the guests feel welcomed.

The B&B has a beautiful environment and the rooms are warm and comfortable. The host is hospitable and the service is attentive. It is convenient to travel around and experience the local customs. It’s a wonderful place to stay while traveling and highly recommended!

This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Shaoxing, especially if you're here to see Lu Xun's former residence. It's super convenient, just 100 meters to the right when you exit the hotel. It's also very close to Xu Wei's former residence and the old streets. The room was comfortable, and the owner was very thoughtful; they even provided a therapeutic mat on the bed, which made sleeping very pleasant. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. Highly recommend!
