It's really a good deal to stay in this hotel during the off-season! My kids came from Shanghai after school on Friday, and we saw the most beautiful sunset in Nayuan. When you open the window in the room, you can see the super healing mountain view, which is very comfortable to look at with green all over. The room is very clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and there is nothing wrong with the details.
The bathtub is by the window, and it's super comfortable to take a bath and look at the mountain view! There are also a lot of things to do in the hotel, such as the infinity pool and the indoor constant temperature pool, and the children have a lot of fun. There is also a bamboo bonfire in the evening, and it's very atmospheric to sit around and chat, and sing karaoke to your heart's content. The hotel also has many activities arranged, so you won't feel bored even if you don't go hiking. There are also some animal friends, which the two kids like very much.
I had six meals in the Nayuan restaurant, and every dish was delicious. The meals are all self-produced fresh ingredients. I thought this configuration would be very expensive, but it turned out to be very cost-effective! This off-peak travel experience is great, there are few people and it's quiet, and I had a lot of fun. It's definitely worth coming again!

Facilities: The facilities are complete, the rooms are spacious, and the kids loved the tatami beds. The baseboard heater was always on, so we basically didn't need to turn on the air conditioning. Hot water was plentiful.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was good, with no major flaws.
Environment: The environment is first-class. It's the only guesthouse located within the Keyan Scenic Area, so guests don't need to buy tickets to enter the scenic area. It's perfect for families to book during holidays, allowing you to enjoy the scenic views privately before the morning and evening rush hours.
Service: The manager is very professional, a smart and hardworking young man, and extremely enthusiastic in his service. During our stay, we even encountered the owner's wedding procession and received some wedding candy. The owner must be a very good person to be able to hire such excellent staff.

XiaotianzousifangThe hotel environment is lovely, and the 'Dengyun Ladder' (Stairway to Heaven) is a nice touch. However, there are a few significant issues.
The light control in the rooms is a big problem. While you can turn all the lights off at once, if you need to get up in the middle of the night, turning any light on illuminates the entire room, which can severely disturb the other person. The air conditioning panel also stays brightly lit all night.
The bathroom has a skylight with no blackout shade, so the room gets bright very early in the morning.
Staffing seems to be an issue; you might have to wait up to 20 minutes for the shuttle, and no one tells you this in advance – you just have to stand by the roadside and wait.
The food is expensive and the taste is only average. The breakfast restaurant's hygiene is also very poor.
Also, the scenic area's parking lot charges for vehicles. While the hotel can pre-register your license plate for free parking, the front desk won't inform you, so you only find out when you have to call them back from the exit.

My friends and I planned a trip to Jiangsu and Zhejiang, and this time we booked the Shangyu Marriott Hotel through Ctrip. Six of us arrived in Shangyu from Shaoxing. Since we arrived quite early, the front desk staff kindly advised us to pre-book our rooms and store our luggage. We then spent the morning exploring nearby attractions like Zhonghua Xiaode Park, Cao'e Scenic Area, and Shangyu Museum. We had lunch at Xun Bao Ji and enjoyed a full day of eating, drinking, and sightseeing without feeling tired. We returned to the hotel around 2 PM, and the staff promptly and thoughtfully handled our check-in according to our needs. The hotel's environment and decor are elegant and refined. As a 5-star hotel, the facilities and amenities were comfortable and tranquil, and the cleanliness was excellent. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a variety of Chinese and Western options, including noodles and wontons, all available as desired. This stay included access to the Executive Lounge, and we were so satisfied that we extended our stay for another two nights. Of our 10+ day trip, the last 5 days and 4 nights at the Shangyu Marriott Hotel received unanimous praise from everyone. Although the hotel's location is a bit out of the way, Didi (ride-sharing service) was convenient and affordable. There were plenty of dining options, and the Executive Lounge offered a diverse selection of food and beverages (coffee, tea, fruits, pastries, etc.). This brand-name chain hotel is highly recommended.

Great facility, Great location, Great food, Great service and Great view.
Stayed three nights there with no problem at all.
The place is clean and the staff are very friendly.
Two minutes walk from Keqiao Ancient Town for evening chill and Five to Ten minutes walk from Textile Markets depending on your textile needs
The breakfast menu is same for all day but the taste was great.
The receptionists are not very well in English but always ready to help your needs. Room Service was so great.
The view from our room is not very well but can see the canal and the old home.

We stayed at this resort for a two-night, three-day trip, and while the building and location were visually impressive, our overall experience fell short of expectations, especially for international travelers.
First, the golf course was not well-maintained and did not resemble the pristine images shown online. Additionally, while the archery court was fine, it lacked proper safety protections, making it a concern for families traveling with young children.
Despite being branded as an Italian resort, there was no functioning Italian restaurant during our stay, which was quite disappointing. Even though the breakfast was really good, the food options for lunch and dinner were very limited, especially for non-Chinese guests. As visitors from Nepal, we found it difficult to enjoy the meals, and one member of our group who is vegetarian struggled even more to find suitable food options. There were no alternative dining options nearby, so if you don’t bring snacks or food with you, your choices are extremely restricted.
Another challenge was the language barrier. Only one staff member could speak basic English, which made communication quite difficult at times.
While the venue might be suitable for events like weddings or photoshoots due to its scenic appearance, it’s not ideal for a relaxing getaway unless you come with your own activities planned. Without that, there isn’t much to do onsite, and the lack of entertainment, food variety, and language support made the experience feel isolating.
Overall, this resort has potential, especially in terms of architecture and ambiance, but it still needs significant improvements in service, food, and international accessibility to truly be welcoming for global guests.

I brought my friends to Shaoxing and wanted to experience something cultural. So, I looked for a cultural place to stay, and that's when I found the Zhao Hua Xi Shi Hotel on Ctrip. I didn't hesitate for a second and booked it immediately! I loved the 'Following the Textbooks to Tour Shaoxing' Lu Xun's Hometown Night Tour, and I also really enjoyed the local Shaoxing cuisine right next to the hotel – it suited our taste perfectly. The hotel was quiet, clean, and the staff were all incredibly nice. We ended up extending our stay for another two nights without a second thought! 🥳

I stayed a few times and the facilities in the room are very complete. The room is very clean and tidy when I look inside. The front desk staff are also very good. If you need anything, they can help and reply in time. Overall, I feel good. The location belongs to the city center. It is very close to the Passenger Transport Center, Grand Theater and Science and Technology Museum. It is a 5-minute walk. It is great. Wanfeng is also there for eating, playing and shopping. It is super convenient.

Guest UserBeautifully located about 1.7km from city center at a quiet residential area which is very peaceful and serene next to a river. It's easily access by online taxi booking.
We love the awards winning Southen Song Dynasty design of the property , however we noticed that the management didn't really put in efforts to upkeep the place.
We stayed in the garden room on the ground floor which we have access to the Riverside garden. It's a shame that the garden are not maintained and the furniture in the garden are not clean to tho use.
I'm sorry to say that staffs attitude are pretty standard or below, not warm nor cold , didn't make the guests feel welcomed.
