Hotels with Breakfast in Shaoxing

The room was fantastic, with stunning sunrise and sunset views. I could spend all day just relaxing on the balcony. The facilities were excellent, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The environment was very peaceful. The camping area was separate, so there was no disturbance. The hotel also offered a mochi-making experience, which the kids absolutely loved. The butler service was impeccable; they even proactively helped us out when they realized we hadn't brought a charging cable.

The rooms are quite spacious, and they even offer fruit porridge. Parking is super convenient with the hotel's exclusive parking lot, which is a huge plus for self-driving tourists – no need to stress about finding a spot, and it feels safe and secure. What really stands out is the service, from the warm and efficient check-in process where the front desk proactively helped us get our preferred room, to every staff member we encountered who greeted us with a smile. Any requests were handled incredibly quickly. The attention to detail truly shows how much care they put in, making us feel really welcome.

The room was spotless and the bedding was comfortable. I especially loved that the bath towels were individually packaged – a great touch! The service was just right, and it was so nice to enjoy a quiet bowl of congee late at night. Breakfast was well-balanced and tasty. The laundry room was also clean and well-organized.

Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped and relatively new. My room didn't have a fridge. A plus is that you can log in directly to watch anything on the TV box, and the internet speed is good. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean; even the corners were taken care of. Environment: The location is decent. It's near Cangqiao Old Street, close to Lu Xun's former residence and next to Xu Wei's former residence. It feels like it's in the middle of all the popular attractions. The distance is probably between 1-3 kilometers. If the weather were cooler, you could easily walk, but it's been too hot during my stay, except for Cangqiao Old Street which is very close. I really love the room; it seems like an old house? It's a Chinese-style room with exposed beams and pillars. Lying in bed looking at the high beams, I think it's beautiful and doesn't feel oppressive. Service: Pretty good; quick responses on WeChat. Shaoxing snacks: They even gave me a coupon for stinky tofu from a shop at Lu Xun's former residence, which was authentic. When I went, the sister there also gave me fennel beans.

Come to see the hotel booked for the show. I thought that the Badger was occupying the place, but I didn't expect the hardware facilities to be unexpectedly very good and the stay was very comfortable. The breakfast is also very rich, and the rare breakfast is not difficult to eat. The two young ladies at the front desk (Ms. Li and Ms. Wang) helped us upgrade the room type for free. The service attitude was very good and very satisfied.

We stayed at this resort for a two-night, three-day trip, and while the building and location were visually impressive, our overall experience fell short of expectations, especially for international travelers. First, the golf course was not well-maintained and did not resemble the pristine images shown online. Additionally, while the archery court was fine, it lacked proper safety protections, making it a concern for families traveling with young children. Despite being branded as an Italian resort, there was no functioning Italian restaurant during our stay, which was quite disappointing. Even though the breakfast was really good, the food options for lunch and dinner were very limited, especially for non-Chinese guests. As visitors from Nepal, we found it difficult to enjoy the meals, and one member of our group who is vegetarian struggled even more to find suitable food options. There were no alternative dining options nearby, so if you don’t bring snacks or food with you, your choices are extremely restricted. Another challenge was the language barrier. Only one staff member could speak basic English, which made communication quite difficult at times. While the venue might be suitable for events like weddings or photoshoots due to its scenic appearance, it’s not ideal for a relaxing getaway unless you come with your own activities planned. Without that, there isn’t much to do onsite, and the lack of entertainment, food variety, and language support made the experience feel isolating. Overall, this resort has potential, especially in terms of architecture and ambiance, but it still needs significant improvements in service, food, and international accessibility to truly be welcoming for global guests.

Two families, four adults and two university students, traveled together and had a fantastic stay. Firstly, it was very close to the attractions, with convenient transportation and easy parking for those driving. Secondly, the street in front of the guesthouse was beautiful, perfect for taking photos and exploring the surrounding area. Thirdly, the owner was incredibly welcoming. The complimentary traditional handcrafted Shaoxing wine was delicious. I absolutely loved this city; our time there was too short, but I'll definitely come back again.

Free parking is available, and there's a laundry room with supplies! The breakfast selection is comprehensive, so you'll definitely find something you like. The front desk staff is very professional.

The hotel is decent, though a bit older. Overall, it offers good value for money, and its proximity to tourist attractions makes it suitable for family trips. We didn't book breakfast.

The B&B has a beautiful environment and the rooms are warm and comfortable. The host is hospitable and the service is attentive. It is convenient to travel around and experience the local customs. It’s a wonderful place to stay while traveling and highly recommended!
