This guesthouse is absolutely the top choice for a family weekend getaway! It's clean, hygienic, and the food is incredibly fresh, with all the vegetables picked from the fields on the same day – absolutely delicious! 👍🏻 The housekeeper is exceptionally thoughtful, providing truly attentive service and always willing to help. They accompanied the children while picking vegetables and took great care of the elderly. We will definitely choose to stay at Yaojia again in the future! 💕

Facilities: The facilities are well-equipped and relatively new. My room didn't have a fridge. A plus is that you can log in directly to watch anything on the TV box, and the internet speed is good. Cleanliness: Generally quite clean; even the corners were taken care of. Environment: The location is decent. It's near Cangqiao Old Street, close to Lu Xun's former residence and next to Xu Wei's former residence. It feels like it's in the middle of all the popular attractions. The distance is probably between 1-3 kilometers. If the weather were cooler, you could easily walk, but it's been too hot during my stay, except for Cangqiao Old Street which is very close. I really love the room; it seems like an old house? It's a Chinese-style room with exposed beams and pillars. Lying in bed looking at the high beams, I think it's beautiful and doesn't feel oppressive. Service: Pretty good; quick responses on WeChat. Shaoxing snacks: They even gave me a coupon for stinky tofu from a shop at Lu Xun's former residence, which was authentic. When I went, the sister there also gave me fennel beans.

Parking is super convenient with the hotel's exclusive parking lot, which is a huge plus for self-driving tourists – no need to stress about finding a spot, and it feels safe and secure. What really stands out is the service, from the warm and efficient check-in process where the front desk proactively helped us get our preferred room, to every staff member we encountered who greeted us with a smile. Any requests were handled incredibly quickly. The attention to detail truly shows how much care they put in, making us feel really welcome.

The room was spotless and the bedding was comfortable. I especially loved that the bath towels were individually packaged – a great touch! The service was just right, and it was so nice to enjoy a quiet bowl of congee late at night. Breakfast was well-balanced and tasty. The laundry room was also clean and well-organized.

The hotel is extremely cozy, making you feel right at home. Moreover, the serene environment, surrounded by trees and ancient buildings, makes this hotel the top choice. The rooms are very comfortable, and Puwei even upgraded our room. We enjoyed afternoon tea right at our doorstep. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service, especially from Puwei. He is not only incredibly helpful but also guided us through all the surrounding itineraries. He even picked us up from the car park and assisted with our luggage, which was greatly appreciated due to the uneven roads. Overall, this trip has been thoroughly enjoyable, despite Shaoxing not being fully developed for international tourists yet. It is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

had a decent stay at Zhuji Xian hotel. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were polite. My room was clean and comfortable, though nothing fancy. The location was convenient—close to a few restaurants and about a 10-minute walk to the main attractions. The breakfast was fine, with the usual options. Nothing amazing, but it did the job. The only minor issue was that the walls seemed a bit thin—I could hear some noise from the hallway at night—but it wasn't too disruptive. Overall, it was a solid place to stay. No major complaints, but also nothing that really stood out. I'd consider staying here again if I'm in the area, especially if the price is right.”

Firstly, it was very close to the attractions, with convenient transportation and easy parking for those driving. Secondly, the street in front of the guesthouse was beautiful, perfect for taking photos and exploring the surrounding area. Thirdly, the owner was incredibly welcoming. The complimentary traditional handcrafted Shaoxing wine was delicious. I absolutely loved this city; our time there was too short, but I'll definitely come back again.
