"I was really satisfied with the room; it offered great value for money. This guesthouse is quite unique, located within an ancient building. Best of all, there was no formaldehyde smell from renovations, which I'm very sensitive to. While it might be a bit old and small, the overall experience was excellent. They even have their own restaurant, which hosts events every night at 9 PM, like movie screenings, dancing, and releasing river lanterns. The value here is truly unbeatable. Plus, the location is superb – just a 3-minute walk to Lu Xun's Former Residence, right within the scenic area. Highly recommend it, it's really good!"

"Perfect for family trips. The family room was cozy and my child loved it. The hotel is conveniently located near Lu Xun's former residence, within easy walking distance. Parking is free and spacious. Staff member number 3 was very enthusiastic and patient. The yellow wine, milk tea, and stinky tofu were delicious. The overall experience was excellent. The room was very clean, with a wet/dry bathroom setup, and large, spacious windows. It also came with a Xiao Ai speaker. Highly recommended for families with children."

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The room was clean and bright, with comfortable bedding – perfect for business travelers! The WiFi was fast and reliable, and the front desk offered 24-hour printing services. The mattress provided great support, and with breakfast available at 6 AM, catching an early flight was stress-free. Even the grout between the tiles was sparkling clean, thanks to the housekeeping staff. A minor flaw with the toothbrush didn't detract from an otherwise superb experience! The front desk staff were warm and attentive, proactively offering tourist guides. This place offers incredible value for money; I highly recommend it!"

"First off, the location is fantastic! Lu Xun's Former Residence and Cangqiao Street are right next door, just a short walk away. The hygiene is also excellent; the rooms are very clean. The facilities are quite basic but sufficient for use. Second, there are so many dining options nearby, and the food is all pretty good. Third, transportation is super convenient. It's only a two-minute walk from Metro Exit B, and there are plenty of bus routes nearby too. My family of three rented an e-scooter from the owner. It had a navigation holder and good storage space for bags, snacks, and so on, which made getting around incredibly convenient. It saved us a lot of effort exploring this way, especially since many places we visited were just a quick scooter ride away. If something looked interesting, we'd hop off and take a photo. The e-scooter rental was also very affordable. Renting an e-scooter was the smartest decision we made on this trip. Shaoxing is great for walking tours, but a scooter is even better – otherwise, your feet would be worn out! Highly recommend it, especially for families with kids."

"Pros: This is an economy hotel. The location is its biggest highlight; it's incredibly convenient for visiting various attractions nearby, very close to Shaoxing Station and the subway. The hotel staff are very friendly. The breakfast is abundant; though it's all basic fare, there's both Chinese and Western options, and a full selection of drinks and yogurt. The rooftop outdoor dining area is very comfortable. Cons: The upgraded rooms (those ending in 10 or 11) have huge pillars inside. Guests planning to stay here should either decline the upgrade or book a higher-grade room. The 'Quiet Elegant King Room (no window)' is extremely small, so small that if the bathroom door is open, you can't walk past it. The bathroom itself is also tiny, with no separate wet and dry areas, and the shower controls are a bit peculiar, making showering inconvenient. Double Self-Service Afternoon Tea: The afternoon tea is self-serve in the lobby. There's a dried vegetable pastry (gan cai su bing) that was delicious; I even bought more from a scenic spot later to take home."

"I couldn't help but take photos the day I checked in, thinking I must leave a good review: Wen Du Yuan – the 'warmth' really comes through in the details. Things like the clothes drying rack near the air conditioner vent, the laundry room on each floor (with hand-washing sinks and dryers), small meeting rooms, and a shared kitchen (not heavily used, but definitely convenient for those with babies). The bathroom fixtures are quite smart, and the direct drinking water and ice maker are big pluses! 👍🏻 I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shaoxing. Oh, and the breakfast has a great variety and everything tastes good; the congee was clearly made with care. The chef was very enthusiastic, hats off to them! Just a small suggestion: the gym is missing some heavier dumbbells. Could you add options like 15-15.25-15.75-20 (kg) for guests who need them? (Awaiting your feedback). "The location is very good, very close to the hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy, and only a 15-minute walk to the hometown of Lu Xun. The room is large and clean, and I am very satisfied with it except that the sound insulation is a bit poor. The price is also very affordable."
