"The hotel is conveniently located near City Plaza Station on Shaoxing Metro Line 1, and just a minute's walk from the Supply and Marketing Building bus stop. We received a free room upgrade to a room with two very comfortable 1.5-meter beds. The hotel also has a gym and laundry room on the first floor, which was super convenient. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying. While Joy City is nearby, it was quite deserted. However, you can take a few bus stops to Intime Department Store, which was bustling. Overall, I made an excellent choice with this hotel. This was my second visit to Shaoxing, and it was super easy to get to Fushan Park, Cangqiao Old Street, Lu Xun's Former Residence, and the Former Residence of Wang Xizhi."

"Just a 2-minute walk to Cangqiao Old Street, this thousand-year-old street is built along the river, with smooth, worn bluestone paths, scattered white walls and dark-tiled roofs, and black-canopied boats gently gliding by. Locals still live here, creating a vibrant scene where riverside life and street food intertwine, truly a living scroll of江南 (Jiangnan) water town life. Facilities: Excellent! There's a large freezer for guests to chill desserts and fruits, and the laundry room even has drying racks, which is a thoughtful touch. Hygiene: The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was quiet at night. Environment: This is where you can truly experience the slow pace of life in Jiangnan. Service: The front desk lady was super friendly and her smile was infectious. The restaurant she recommended was incredibly delicious. This hotel offers amazing value for money. Highly recommend!"

"The cleaning was meticulous, even the corners were spotless. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the elevator wait times were short. There are plenty of dining options nearby, making it perfect for a short stay."

"The room is quite spacious, very clean, and free of any strange odors. As it's a newly opened hotel, the facilities are brand new. There's also a laundry room with Haier washing machines and dryers. Breakfast is also good, with a decent variety and great taste. The service is excellent, the hotel has unique features, and it offers great value for money. Plus, it's very close to Lu Xun's former residence."

"Service: The night shift front desk manager and the night shift housekeeping auntie provided excellent service. They were very understanding of guests' needs and promptly addressed housekeeping issues, even double-checking my room's cleanliness. I'm very grateful to all the front desk and housekeeping staff. Cleanliness: However, the room's cleanliness was a major letdown. The first room had stains on the curtains, but the front desk lady quickly helped me switch rooms, which was great (#^.^#)👍🏻. Unfortunately, I was busy at the time and couldn't inspect the new room. Later that evening, when I returned to the hotel, I found both toothbrush cups were dirty, with what looked like toothpaste residue from a previous guest rather than water stains. The spot where you'd place your phone in the bathroom was also dirty. It felt like the room hadn't been cleaned at all. While the room rate wasn't high, I feel that basic hygiene standards should still be maintained."

"The service was great, very warm and welcoming. They even gave me a bottle of water when I checked out. Since I arrived quite late, they made sure to remind me about the supper service times. The location is also excellent, right in the Xixiaolu Historic District and very close to Yangming's Former Residence."

"This is one of the better hotels in Shaoxing, with excellent facilities across the board. Its biggest advantage is its proximity to Lu Xun's Former Residence and Shen Garden – it's literally at the best and closest spot right at the entrance of the scenic area, and also close to the subway. Regarding the accommodation, we booked a garden view courtyard room on the first floor. It was very convenient, saving us from constantly taking the elevator. There were a few more mosquitoes and it was a bit humid, but thankfully, we had two sunny days during our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed the bathroom sink was clogged, but the hotel promptly cleared it after we notified them, which was great. Now, about the restaurant. The menu wasn't extensive, but we tried some famous local dishes like Shaoxing Sanxian, Dongpo Pork, Stinky Tofu, and Drunken Fish. The dining service here is quite different from what you'd find in southern Guangdong. We weren't offered tea after sitting down; when we asked about it, the waiter just brought three bowls for tea. There were no napkins either. Basically, they don't offer anything unless you ask. After dinner, when we requested toothpicks, they pulled out a handful of loose ones and gave us one or two. It's hard to associate this kind of service with a five-star hotel. Perhaps for a second-tier city, this is as good as it gets, so one shouldn't expect too much!"

"What a pleasant surprise! This hotel is a hidden gem. It's tucked away and a bit hard to find, but their service is top-notch. They contacted us the day before, asking about our travel plans and if we were bringing elderly, children, or pets. Since we always travel with our furry friend, their pet-friendly policy was a huge deciding factor. The hotel is nestled within an old residential area, blending in perfectly without any sense of incongruity – it felt like discovering a new world in a bustling district. The surroundings are surprisingly quiet with low foot traffic. Even better, it's incredibly close to all the popular attractions, which meant we didn't have to trek far to enjoy the sights, while still having a peaceful retreat at the hotel. This was definitely the highlight for our family. The courtyard, with its charming bridges and flowing water, had a lovely spring-like vibe, perfect for artsy photos. After a long day of exploring, instead of going straight to our room, we relaxed by the pool, soaking up the sun – so serene and utterly relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean, and I loved the subtle, pleasant fragrance. The color scheme in the room was particularly appealing, both stylish and cozy. With the pool right outside the window and plenty of sunshine streaming in, it was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was quite varied, featuring many local specialties. The 'yinggao' (rice cake) was absolutely delicious; I ate three pieces myself! The handmade 'xiaohuntun' (mini wontons) prepared by the auntie were also incredibly fresh and flavorful – you could tell the ingredients were top-quality. P.S. It was a bit busy during breakfast, and the wontons and pumpkin 'miangeda' (dough drops) were made fresh to order, which was a very thoughtful touch. Although they accidentally gave our bowl of miangeda to another guest, they quickly prepared a new one for us. We totally understand that mistakes happen sometimes, and we still really enjoyed it. We visit Shaoxing frequently and will definitely be back if we get the chance. We highly, highly recommend this hotel!"

"My stay was exceptional, and the room quality far exceeded my expectations. The room was well-appointed with excellent amenities, including a smart toilet, a rain shower with massage functions, high-end bedding, and a fully stocked minibar. The overall facilities easily met five-star standards, making for a truly comfortable stay. Breakfast was very popular, with the restaurant almost always full. During peak times, we had to wait a bit for a table. The food selection was incredibly rich, ranging from hot Chinese dishes, local specialties like preserved vegetable pancakes (Meigancai Shaobing), and pan-fried dumplings (Shengjian Xiaolong), to Western breads, cold cuts, and drinks. With nearly a hundred different items, there was something to satisfy every palate. The breakfast restaurant overlooks a garden water feature, and from the window, you can see koi swimming in the pond. Dining with such a beautiful Jiangnan garden view made for an especially pleasant experience."
