"Overall, a great stay! They offer a generous afternoon tea with seasonal fruits, fennel beans, and a pot of yellow wine, which gives it a wonderful local flavor. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and both the mini wontons and 'mien bobo' (steamed buns) were delicious. The location is excellent, with the front facing the street and the back opening onto the river; there's even a spot where you can sit by the river and enjoy the breeze. My only minor complaint is that the room window was a bit small and faced the street, limiting the view. Also, the dog barking at night was a bit noisy."

"I came to Shaoxing during the full bloom of the Chinaberry trees this time, and when it came to where to stay, there was no doubt – Shaoxing Hotel. I'd walked past it from Xixiaolu to Xiaohe Zhijie at the end of last year, and this Jiangnan-style garden hotel immediately went onto my 'must-stay' list. Shaoxing Hotel is beautiful both inside and out, with stunning scenery everywhere. All the staff are incredibly friendly and greet you warmly. On the day I checked in, the front desk even upgraded me to the second floor of Building 2, facing Fushan Park. The sanitary facilities are, needless to say, exceptionally clean, featuring a smart toilet and a multi-function shower with several massage jets. The sink area also has separate strong and weak voltage outlets for hair dryers and men's razors. The breakfast restaurant is downstairs. I passed it multiple times during the day and evening. It offers Shaoxing specialties, and the food is quite good. After breakfast, you can head to Fushan Park across the street for a panoramic view of the city. Shaoxing Hotel isn't just about its beautiful environment and excellent service; it also boasts a fantastic, central location in Shaoxing. You can walk to Xiaohe Zhijie, Cangqiao, and Lu Xun's former residence. I've compared this over my two visits to Shaoxing in the past six months and have already recommended it to several good friends."

"This hotel is super convenient! It's just 20 meters from the City Square metro station, and there are buses nearby that go to Keyan Scenic Area, Donghu Lake, and Jianhu Lake. Lu Xun's former residence is only a 5-minute drive away, and Cangqiao Old Street and Qiu Jin's Monument are right across the street. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and hygienic, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The views from the window are lovely, and the soundproofing is excellent. The service is attentive, the front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and they were prompt with cleaning during our extended stay!"

"The hotel's location is super convenient, right by the subway entrance, and taxis can pull up directly to the lobby. The surrounding area is also quite nice, and the lake view from the high floors is beautiful and uplifting. The room itself is spacious and clean, and the TV's screen casting feature is a plus. The gym, though small, is well-equipped. Breakfast, however, was pretty average, nothing special, and honestly, it lowers the hotel's overall standard a bit. Also, probably because it's so close to the subway, you can hear a whistling sound every time a train passes by. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider other options carefully."

"Our family stay at the Atour Hotel in Shaoxing's Lu Xun Native Place Joy City was absolutely fantastic! We arrived quite late, and the front desk thoughtfully prepared hot wontons for our child, which was such a heartwarming gesture. The hotel facilities are excellent, with convenient laundry and white shoe cleaning areas, and the delivery robot was a smart touch. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, and we were thoroughly satisfied. What truly impressed us was that we accidentally left some clothes behind, and the hotel proactively contacted us and arranged for them to be mailed. The service was impeccable! Overall, the experience exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Shaoxing!"

"What a pleasant surprise! This hotel is a hidden gem. It's tucked away and a bit hard to find, but their service is top-notch. They contacted us the day before, asking about our travel plans and if we were bringing elderly, children, or pets. Since we always travel with our furry friend, their pet-friendly policy was a huge deciding factor. The hotel is nestled within an old residential area, blending in perfectly without any sense of incongruity – it felt like discovering a new world in a bustling district. The surroundings are surprisingly quiet with low foot traffic. Even better, it's incredibly close to all the popular attractions, which meant we didn't have to trek far to enjoy the sights, while still having a peaceful retreat at the hotel. This was definitely the highlight for our family. The courtyard, with its charming bridges and flowing water, had a lovely spring-like vibe, perfect for artsy photos. After a long day of exploring, instead of going straight to our room, we relaxed by the pool, soaking up the sun – so serene and utterly relaxing. The room was spotlessly clean, and I loved the subtle, pleasant fragrance. The color scheme in the room was particularly appealing, both stylish and cozy. With the pool right outside the window and plenty of sunshine streaming in, it was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was quite varied, featuring many local specialties. The 'yinggao' (rice cake) was absolutely delicious; I ate three pieces myself! The handmade 'xiaohuntun' (mini wontons) prepared by the auntie were also incredibly fresh and flavorful – you could tell the ingredients were top-quality. P.S. It was a bit busy during breakfast, and the wontons and pumpkin 'miangeda' (dough drops) were made fresh to order, which was a very thoughtful touch. Although they accidentally gave our bowl of miangeda to another guest, they quickly prepared a new one for us. We totally understand that mistakes happen sometimes, and we still really enjoyed it. We visit Shaoxing frequently and will definitely be back if we get the chance. We highly, highly recommend this hotel!"

"The room was very clean and spacious, with good lighting. The service was excellent; the front desk even provided hot bottled water, and the breakfast was delicious. When I first arrived, the receptionist thoughtfully put a protective cover on my ID card 🥺🥺🥺. The hotel's location is also great, perfectly matching my impression of a Jiangnan water town."

"Our stay was absolutely perfect! Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, offering beautiful photo opportunities that easily rival popular scenic spots, but with a unique江南 (Jiangnan) style. A special shout-out to Mr. Chen Fu, our shuttle driver. We arrived quite late, around 10 PM, amidst a heavy downpour, and the shuttle service was almost ending. He thoughtfully covered our sleeping child with a towel to prevent them from getting wet. After dropping us off, he walked us to our room, holding an umbrella and even helped with our luggage. Such a small act of kindness truly warmed our hearts. Thumbs up to him! At checkout, Ms. Xiao Xie from the concierge was incredibly attentive, helping us with our luggage to the car and proactively assisting with the checkout process. Big praises for her! Assistant Lobby Manager Mr. Xiao Lü also had a wonderful attitude. We're definitely looking forward to coming back and trying out different room types! Shaoxing is truly beautiful!"

She called me in advance before check-in to understand my needs, thoughtfully upgraded my room, and arranged a late check-out based on my request! She also meticulously prepared a Shaoxing scenic spot travel guide and food recommendations, and even gave me a welcome gift 🎁. The experience was absolutely fantastic 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! Of course, other staff at the front desk 👍🏻 were also very professional and polite, providing excellent service that made me feel incredibly comfortable! 📍 **Location**: The hotel is right in the Tianjie area of Shaoxing, and parking is free for guests 🆓. You can reach the hotel from elevators 5 or 6 to the first floor, then a 2-3 minute walk (Tiffany also provided the location and directions in advance 😄). 🏨 **Environment**: The hotel was formerly an 871 chip factory. After its design transformation, it now focuses on artistic visuals. The public areas have a very stylish feel, with geometric compositions, water features, and natural light blending together. The green plant aesthetic combined with red walls creates a strong visual impact – a unique beauty that is both powerful and serene! Every corner of the public area is perfect for photos! I checked in on Friday and happened to catch the evening ritual performance in the lobby bar, which was very Shaoxing and quite good! 🛋️ **Facilities** are complete, and the room layout is well-designed with a logical flow. The bedding is great (I slept really well ദ്ദി(˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ ) ✧), and the balcony offers lush green views, perfect for relaxing and unwinding! The mini-bar is complimentary and includes specialty Shaoxing rice wine. 🥢 The ”Waking Breakfast” is a semi-buffet à la carte system. The variety isn't huge, but everything tastes excellent! Signature dishes include Shaoxing Ciwu noodles and Shaoxing印糕 (rice cakes). The freshly made omelets and thin pancakes were highlights! The small wontons were also very good! ❣️ I was short on time and didn't get to experience many hidden perks, but overall, it was fantastic and highly recommended! I will definitely choose to stay here again! (It's also a great choice for traveling with seniors and children!)"

"The hotel's setting is beautiful, located within Mirror Lake Wetland Park, making it very peaceful. The service was also excellent; they provided shuttle service for even the shortest distances. The front desk staff even upgraded our room type, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast selection was rich and delicious. You can easily spend a whole day here cycling, taking a boat ride, hiking, and trekking within the park. It's not crowded, and the scenery is stunning. Highly recommended!"
