"We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo Bintan, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, always greeting us with smiles and going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Traveling as a family, we really appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating everyone was—it made the entire stay feel relaxed and special. The highlight for us was Ocean Restaurant. The food was consistently delicious, well-presented, and offered a great variety, every meal felt fresh and satisfying. Dining with the sea view made the experience even more enjoyable. The resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with a great atmosphere for families. We had so much fun together, whether it was relaxing by the pool, enjoying the beach, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and enjoyment. Overall, Hotel Indigo Bintan delivered an unforgettable experience through excellent service, great food, and genuine hospitality. We left with happy memories and would definitely return again. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a refreshing getaway."

"The resort arranged free shuttle for pick up from Bintan Ferry Terminal for a nearly 80 minutes drive with bottled waters and cookies served. Quite thoughtful! We stayed at two Garden terrace inter-connected rooms with a family of four. The rooms were quite spacious and well maintained. The resort provides 2 bicycles per room for mobility within the resort, which is a well landscaped expanse. Thoroughly enjoyed our bicycle rides. We also used the buggy rides for getting around the resort, which was quicker and more easier. The staff were courteous and warm. Few to name are 1. Kiki from the Earth Basket who engaged enthusiastically with us to show us around the fish ponds, rabbits and the various plants. 2. Kay and Ganjar from the The Dining Room (main restaurant which serves diverse cuisine) are warm and welcoming. 3. Intan from Rika Rika (Indonesian cuisine) is full of smiles and agile to serve customised order. Weather was just perfect and overall we had a pleasant, refreshing stay. Few areas the resort should focus on - the staff at The Dining Room were understaffed and found to be tired/ sweating. We found the Food variety and quality at the Christmas Eve Dinner disappointing for the price charged. The Indonesian cuisine at Rica Rica was more tastier though less in variety. We enjoyed the Stargazing, leisurely walks at the beach, bicycling, though we missed the water sports due to monsoons. Overall, we do plan to visit this resort sometime again for sure."

"Our stay was just perfect. It is a beautiful Balinese traditional set-up villa, every staff was friendly and so kind and it really touched my heart. It's a bit old property but perfectly maintained, I didn't feel it's old at all and I was rather impressed how well they kept this beautiful villa. You can also notice a great attention to detials, the person (people) came up with this design and architect must be genius! I was worried after seeing the review on bugs, yes there are bugs, but it's perfectly natural cause the villa is in the middle of the nature! That's the charm of this resort. I would be concerned if they use too much chemicals to kill the bugs. I hate bugs but there was nothing harmful - like a roach I always see in HK.. so I was totally ok! There are cute lizards roaming around too, I really loved watching them. I really enjoyed staying in Banyan Tree but most of all it was people who made my stay memorable - everyone smiles and greeted so nicely which really made my trip. They were very attentive and accommodating too. I wish I could go back one day!"

"After watching the rennovation from the golfcourse a few times, now we had the opportunity to stay at the new Movenpick resort Bintan in their soft-launch period. Although they still need to do some work, we absolutely enjoyed our stay in combination with the golfcourse. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. The food in the restaurant is very good, we tried the local food. Probably they will increase the number of dishes when fully opened. Breakfast very good: mix of buffet and a la cart. Local and international. Fresh juices. Little problems , part of opening a new hotel,  were tackled immediately.  Overall a great golf / relax experience. We will come back soon. Also need to try the Japanese restaurant."

"The room rates are very expensive compared to other hotels. The breakfast is not good, and there is no opportunity to taste local food. The restaurant prices are also high. However, the location is good, and the beach is clean. There are no activities available on the beach. The room amenities are perfect."

"Hotel was clean and located in the Lagoi resort area which is where we wanted to be, however the hotel seems old, the gym was a sad excuse with just dumbbells, order food at the rooftop cafe, quiet flavourless, service was good despite the hotel being empty but was still asked to check in at 3pm or pay IDR200k luckily this was not much of an issue as we had activities arranged, that said the room was comfortable enough however the AC stopped working the last night I was there and didn’t come on again causing me to lose sleep."

"Service staff was friendly and smiley. They upgraded us to a suite which was very much appreciated. I have indicated that the stay was for my son's Birthday and was welcomed by the nice decoration and cake which my son enjoyed very much. The Kids Club is quite small. Varieties for breakfast can be improved and the restaurant felt uncomfortably warm with some flies flying around. The massage at the spa was good and we were served a nice pot of tea with yogurt and fruits after treatment."

"We recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests. 1. Room Consistency & Communication Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved. 2. Villa Room Maintenance On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression. We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback."

"It was easy to engage with Sadi Beach House to arrange for transport for arrival and departure. Driver was on time and brought us as requested to shop for some small titbits and snacks along the way. Sadi Beach House also recommended venues for sight seeing as we arrived early on Bintan island. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are clean and facilities are good. Spa services and room service made easy. Food is goood and also have access to nearby restaurants and kelong for seafood. Small little things to do around here like swimming, cockle picking, kayaking and can arrange with vendors to go for other activities elsewhere. Value for money for the peace and quiet and efficient and prompt communication with staff here. Small number of available rooms so it’s nice and quiet."

"Everything was great but please learn to delivery ”no” message to your customer instead of stalling tactic. We requested for early checkin as the ferry disembarked at close to 12pm. The concierge told us it was subjected to availability. They will try to clean up room quickly. We waited close to 3hrs, 15mins before official check in time to get the room. But we noticed neighboring units were empty.. and due to low occupancy, the breakfast was ala-carte instead of buffet."
