Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon

Stay at 1633 and 1632. 1633 toliet smell even after I flush.. seen like drainage issues.. have told the reception when check out. Lovely renovation but there are some not stuff not up to my expectation. Inform dining is excellent .. Coffee capsule dont taste good.. not like Movenpick standard. Disappointing. Room was nicely removated. Happy to get adjoining rooms. Breakfast on Sunday standard is different to Saturday. Dont taste so good like sat. Beach club is great.. one of the best .. feel like the old times. Pizza is good .. Not enough facilities to support when spa is down .. there should be more massage and facial services.. or may be hair salon.. etc.. there should also be a supermarket inside.. and there are no shuttle to Plaza Lagoi. Japanese food standard is not to my expectation . Food is so sweet.. especially the udon soup base. Expensive and not up to standard. Please review. Scallop is disappointing. Went to the pool with slide.. wondering is the pool clean .. as it looks turbid to me. We were there during Bintan langoon days.. hope to see more new stuff for bigger kids. Kids club is boring for my 9 year old son. No Nintendo switch inside? Haha not much entertainment for older kids since sport club is not ready. Find the game room in bad condition suppose to be quite new ? Not much gaming .. Spa.. i am disappointed as occupancy rate is 60% .. there are no slots for 2 days. The spa cannot meet with the demand of such low occupancy rate? Still not wow like 5 stars yet.. We will not choose to stay here unless there are significant improvement .

Lovely and vast establishment. It may be crowded during hols and breakfast but the place is so big it can hardly be crowded. 3 large swimming pools, kids club, well-equipped gym, 2 private beaches with crystal clear waters and fine white sand, sumptuous breakfast buffet with large spread and decent and new rooms.our second time there. friendly and warm Indonesian hospitality 👍👍 No regrets. Can really chill.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Stay at Mövenpick Bintan – Special Mention to Michelle! This was my first time visiting Bintan and also my first stay at Mövenpick Bintan, and honestly, choosing this resort was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The resort is huge, and since there is so much to explore within the property, they provide buggy services to bring guests around, which is really convenient. As Bintan doesn’t have a huge variety of attractions to explore outside the resort, we specifically wanted somewhere that could keep us entertained for 3 days and Mövenpick definitely delivered. We stayed while the resort is still under soft opening, so naturally there may be a few minor things that are still being fine-tuned. However, what impressed me the most was the service attitude of the entire team. Every staff member we met was professional, friendly and genuinely helpful. They always had a smile, proactively approached guests to check if we needed anything, and even took the time to have small conversations with us. I’m also a hotelier myself, so I can confidently say that the team here is doing a really great job, especially considering they are still in their soft-opening phase. A very special mention to Michelle, who assisted us during check-in. From the very beginning, Michelle was incredibly friendly and made sure we had a smooth and seamless experience throughout our stay. We did encounter a minor room issue during our stay, but she immediately followed up and made sure it was resolved as quickly as possible. What I appreciated even more was that she didn’t just solve the problem and walk away. Throughout our entire stay, she would proactively approach us and check whether everything was okay and whether we were enjoying our stay. That kind of genuine care really makes a difference. Michelle is honestly one of the best hotel staff we have ever encountered, and I truly hope the management recognises her efforts. She is definitely an asset to the resort. The Kids Club is huge, and our kids absolutely loved it! They even have a sleeping room and movie room for the little ones, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The resort also has multiple swimming pools, including the ocean pool, kids’ pool and the pool at the beach club, so there’s always somewhere different to enjoy. I personally loved all the little details around the resort, especially the kids’ amenities. Even the shower amenities provided for children were so thoughtfully prepared. It’s these small touches that really show the resort has put a lot of thought into the family experience. We also absolutely loved the buffet breakfast. There was a great variety of choices, including plenty of pastries, desserts and even ice cream! One of my favourite touches was the kids’ corner, where children can actually get their own food. It may seem like a small thing, but it made breakfast more fun for our kids and was definitely a plus point for us as parents. Overall, despite still being in the soft-opening stage, we had a really wonderful 3 day stay at Mövenpick Bintan The combination of the beautiful and spacious resort, family-friendly facilities, thoughtful little details, great food and most importantly the genuinely warm service from the staff made our stay memorable. For our first trip to Bintan, I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better resort. If you’re looking for a place where you can simply stay in the resort, relax, enjoy the facilities and keep the kids entertained for a few days, Mövenpick Bintan is definitely worth considering. An unforgettable stay! We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We arrived an hour early & were lucky enough to find our room already ready. We joined the 'chocolate hour' session (at 3 PM) & both my wife and son really enjoyed it. We also engaged in various activities at the hotel, such as playing table tennis & PS5, as well as cycling around the resort. We even went to the Sonada Beach Club for a swim (there are 3 swimming pools altogether). The beach in front of the club was stunning (for some reason, the sand texture was different from other beaches - it was incredibly fine). We booked a room facing the children's pool & the entertainment building - so we could relax on the balcony until late night watching other guests doing their activities :-). The breakfast was fantastic. We tried almost every dish available. Not to mention, all the hotel staff were incredibly friendly. Kudos to the hotel for creating such wonderful memories for our family. We hope to return someday!

We spent four wonderful nights here and left with nothing but great memories. The resort is brand new (still in soft opening), and it shows in the best way: everything felt fresh, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Rooms: Our Deluxe King room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Housekeeping was attentive throughout our stay. Location: Right on the beach, with the ferry terminal just steps away — incredibly convenient for a getaway from Singapore. The grounds are lush and beautifully landscaped, and the beach and pools are a real highlight. Dining: We ate across several of the resort's restaurants. Port 19 was excellent for a relaxed dinner with great grilled options, Yokatta served genuinely good Japanese food, and Soñada Beach Club was the perfect spot for a sunset dinner right by the water — the setting alone makes it worth it. Staff were very accommodating with a food intolerance, always happy to suggest suitable dishes. Spa: We had three treatments during our stay, and the therapists were skilled and professional every time. The spa itself is a calm, beautifully designed space — a great place to unwind after a day at the beach. Service: Being a new property, a few small things came up here and there, but every single time the staff resolved them impeccably and without any fuss. That kind of attentiveness says a lot about the team. Overall: We felt genuinely well looked after from check-in to check-out, and we'd happily come back. Highly recommended for couples looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape from Singapore.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable 3D2N stay at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon. The hospitality here is outstanding—every team member, including the on-site contractors, greeted us with incredible warmth. The service level genuinely rivals Singapore Airlines' standard. What impressed me even more was when I submitted our post-stay feedback: the General Manager personally took the time to read and send a genuine reply, rather than sending a generic automated response like most places do. As a newer resort, the facilities are modern, well-maintained, and fully functional. Highlights for our family included the indoor playground, the complimentary arcade, and a gym equipped with treadmills that sync directly with Apple Watches. My hope is that regular upkeep maintains this high quality and that future guests treat these shared amenities with care. The signature complimentary Chocolate Hour was a massive hit with the kids, and the buffet breakfast spread was easily one of the best I’ve ever had. For future enhancement, providing a complimentary shuttle service between the resort and Lagoi Plaza would be a wonderful addition to give guests easier access to more dining and shopping options. Our stay was too short to experience the full lineup of activities, but we will definitely return. Overall, it is an exceptional resort that is perfectly tailored for families!
