Romantic Hotels in Phuket

I arrived late at night and initially planned to stay for two nights as a transition. I only started looking for hotels the day before departure, and after getting tired of searching, I just picked one that offered good value for money. I didn't have high hopes at first, but after checking in, I decided to extend my stay for a few more nights. The place smelled lovely from the moment I walked in, and the room was super clean, just like in the pictures! There wasn't any musty smell, and the decor was particularly cozy. Plus, it was a mountain view room. In China, similar guesthouses during the off-season would easily cost 500+ RMB, so this was incredibly good value! Dining and everything else was very convenient. There's a 7-Eleven just across the road downstairs, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the beach. The guesthouse owner is Chinese and very thoughtful; they even offered complimentary drinks upon check-in. The owner also helped us book massages, and we could ask them anything we didn't understand. It felt very safe; I left my money and electronics around freely for several days without anything going missing, though there's also a safe if you're worried. After staying a few nights on Phi Phi Island, I came back and extended my stay here again. Phi Phi Island is beautiful, but the hotel bedding there tended to be damp, and the water quality wasn't great. Coming back here, the blankets felt so soft, and there wasn't any strange odor at all – probably because I had something to compare it to, haha! This will definitely be my top choice next time I visit.

Есть сушилка для белья, шампунь и гель для душа.До моря пешком минут 7 идти всего лишь. Можно дойти до пляжа Карон минут за 15. Постельное белье и уборка каждое утро, но часто белье было с пятнами, полотенца тоже. Мы в целом не привередливы, но все равно малоприятно. Так же присутствует сильный неприятный запах из слива в душе. Мы не знаем с чем это связано, но порой запах был очень резким. В остальном все хорошо. Завтраки скромные, но сытные, на было вполне достаточно. Сам персонал прекрасные улыбчивые тайцы.

This hotel is a solid three-star, nothing more. Pros: - Location is about 1 km from the nearest beach, which is fine. - Night market is right around the corner. - Good hot water pressure. - Clean bed linen. Cons: - The pillows are incredibly uncomfortable, hard as bricks. I suffered every night for six days. - In our room, 404, the toilet seat wasn't original and was only held by one fastener. - There's no kettle in the room, just something like a thermos. There's a water cooler downstairs. This is the first time I've encountered something like this. - Breakfasts are mediocre. The same dishes every day: fried eggs, sausages, ham, salad, bread, toast, fruit, yogurt. These never changed. Only one dish rotated: either noodles with vegetables, rice, or rice noodles. - You won't go hungry, but eating the same thing for 6 days gets boring. Would I recommend this hotel? Probably not. I've been to Phuket 15 times, so I have a lot to compare it to. The price is average, not high and not low.

The Lakeside Resort is indeed an old-fashioned resort. It is not located in several large districts, but in Kathu County in the middle of Phuket, which is also a county with many people. If you don't remember that you have to walk a dark village road at the end, life is actually very convenient. Advantages: ① Very quiet. Very small mountain, very small lake (not a stinky ditch, the kind where you can fish), there is an American-style bar and restaurant by the lake, which is quite comfortable for long-term stay. ② The swimming pool is comfortable and the water is clean. ③ There are few people. ④ There is a public tabby cat in the hotel, which is quite friendly. It will help to be on duty at the bar at night and interact with tourists during the day. Disadvantages: The hotel I stayed in this time should be the lowest-grade holiday cottage, facing the lake, and the facilities are old. There was a rat droppings on the ground in one of the rooms (later I thought it should be a bat 😂), and I changed to another room at my request. However, all rooms of this type still have two common problems: one is that there are many ants on the window sills and frames, which must be closed tightly; the other is that the water in the toilet is okay, but when the hot water is turned on, the lights in the bedroom will flicker due to unstable voltage 🤦🏻♂️ After analysis, it may be that only the single-story townhouses by the lake have this problem. It's a circuit problem that cannot be solved. Next time if I really want to live here, I can try their larger suites. It feels pretty good. Several foreigners have lived here, and it feels like they are all long-term tenants.

Everything is close by, even a medical clinic (on the corner). There's a massage parlor. The staff is fantastic. A taxi to the airport is 1,100 baht.
