Took my kids to Suzhou Tongli Lake Hotel for a weekend stay. Their logo is a hoopoe bird, and the experience exceeded our expectations!
The room was new, spotless, and thoughtfully detailed, making our stay incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The family-friendly facilities were fantastic: outdoors, you can feed bunnies, and the kids' play area was clean and safe – my child didn't want to leave! The heated pool had crystal-clear water, perfect for both adults and kids to enjoy.
The buffet offered fresh, diverse, and delicious food with plenty of choices.
On Sunday morning, we did a travel photoshoot in the Suzhou-style garden right next to the hotel. With its white walls, dark-tiled roofs, winding corridors, and ornate windows, every step offered a picturesque scene.
It's a wonderful family-friendly hotel with a serene environment and attentive service!

The package price on Trip.com was really a great deal. We booked it in advance for our 24th anniversary and stayed for two nights. We happened to be there during a typhoon, so it rained constantly, but thankfully the hotel had everything we needed for food, drinks, and entertainment, so we weren't bored staying indoors. On the first day, we checked into the 'Captain's Suite' on the sixth floor. The facilities were a bit old, but the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking views. The bedding felt a little damp. On the second day, the rain was so heavy that water seeped into the room from the deck area. The hotel upgraded us to the 'Navigator Grand Suite' on the eighth floor. The facilities there were newer and well-equipped, making for a much more comfortable stay than the 'Captain's Suite', and the bedding was dry. The breakfast on the first floor was packed every morning, and the variety of dishes was quite good, appealing to most palates.
We also checked out the afternoon tea at the lobby lounge. It was beautifully presented, but the cakes weren't very tasty. It was good for taking photos and passing the time, though.
The executive lounge on the seventh floor only offered soft drinks and alcohol during the day. However, during dinner hours, there were hot dishes, snacks, and cakes, although the selection wasn't extensive.
Overall, the hotel is a flagship Crown Plaza, so it's quite large and has a clear locational advantage. It's just a bit older now, which is to be expected given its age.

Nestled in the heart of a picturesque landmark, this guesthouse offers stunning views of Pingjiang Road at night. There's a cat café right across the street, which is a lovely touch. The breakfast spread is generous, and you can even do your laundry for free. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making this a fantastic choice for your stay.

Guest UserThe room was clean and had a unique charm. The hostess was lovely and incredibly thoughtful. I've already booked for next year! My trip was a bit rushed this time, so I didn't get to fully appreciate all the creative touches at Zhoushuang Life Inn. I'll save that for next year's visit.

The room was clean, tidy, and odorless. The staff, including the cleaning crew, were friendly and proactive, always greeting us with warmth and hospitality. The location is excellent, right outside Guanqian Street, and after a stroll, you can cross the road to Pingjiang Road. Breakfast was abundant, with both Chinese and Western options.

ZhangWLThis is our second time at Nanyuan Hotel, and this time my brother and I brought our elderly mother to visit historical sites. After seeing the underground project, we reflected on the tumultuous past and were filled with emotion. We really love Nanyuan Hotel; it's a destination in itself. Within a hundred meters, there's the most beautiful garden, the most beautiful university, the most delicious Su cuisine, and the most beautiful street. We feel that the hotel's management is keeping up with the times. Next time, we look forward to experiencing the Yingjie room type, and we hope you continue to surprise us. Also, after reporting some air conditioning noise in the room, they kindly sent us delicious Suzhou preserves, an adorable souvenir fan, and a fridge magnet. Thumbs up for your service!

John SoCame to Suzhou for Zhou Shen's concert. The hotel is in the city center, right next to Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden, making it super convenient for getting around. There are lots of restaurants nearby and 24-hour supermarkets. Guests also get discounts on tickets to attractions. The room was clean, and the front desk staff were really friendly and helpful.

Anonymous UserThis was my fourth stay here, and the service, as always, was excellent. Half the reason I come here is for the food; the dinner at the restaurant is absolutely delicious. The front desk even upgraded me to a suite. Usually, I book a ground-floor suite directly, but this time I booked a standard room and they upgraded me to a second-floor suite. The only thing to note is that the air conditioner's outdoor unit was incredibly loud, almost deafening. I couldn't sleep the first night. The second night, I was so tired I just managed to sleep, thinking it was only one more night, so I didn't bother changing rooms. Then, before leaving, we went to the indoor kids' play area for a bit. There was an auntie (presumably a staff member) lying on the trampoline scrolling on her phone. When she saw us, she just rolled over and went to sleep. My child wanted to play, but seeing her sleeping with her eyes closed, didn't feel comfortable going up. Other children came later and also saw her sleeping and didn't feel comfortable going up. She didn't get up until we left. I can understand that the auntie might need to rest when it's hot and there isn't much to do, but couldn't she find a corner? There's plenty of space. I hope the hotel strengthens its management. Despite these issues, I still give this stay a 5-star rating.

Guest UserI highly recommend this hotel ❤️. It's right on the main street of Pingjiang Road, by the canal. It's not one of those tiny guesthouses; it seems to have nearly twenty rooms, and the decor and facilities are excellent. Most rooms are on the second floor, and downstairs, you're right amidst all sorts of food and shops, which is incredibly convenient. During the day, Pingjiang Road is bustling with people, but the windows have two layers, providing good sound insulation. By about 10:30 PM, the streets quiet down, so you can go downstairs and stroll around leisurely. At night, the streets are mostly empty, making the rooms very quiet. The rooms are clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The staff are also very warm and attentive. The parking lot is right across the street, just over a small bridge. It's also very close to nearby attractions from the hotel.
