The hotel is conveniently located close to the dock. The hotel includes breakfast and can provide lunch and dinner. All dishes are made from local production. The dishes are good. The host and the staff are all very accommodating and try their best to help and are always available. The hotel was fully refurbished when we came. It was clean, well furnished and well maintained. The cost appeared reasonable even during the national holiday. We chose a room with a balcony. The terrasse adds a lot of convenience and is really enjoyable. We used it often. We did spend a pleasant time there. An important reminder comes as the hotel is close, maybe one of the closest to the dock. Therefore the activity around the hotel is intense, starts early and finishes late. This can affect light sleepers and is reinforced by the fact that the island is a heaven of silence. The island is perfect to reconnect to the nature, the slowness of life. We did appreciate our time walking around the island, visiting every small street and enjoying the pleasant view. People are very nice, organisation in the island is good and provides all the necessities. A good place for one or few days stay with or without children.

The environment is great, too suitable for vacation rest, quiet but not remote, wide view, facing the beautiful Taihu Lake. The room is very large and spacious, more beautiful and comfortable than the photos, especially worth mentioning is super clean and the supplies are soft and fragrant. Breakfast is also a surprise, morning, lakeside, summer breeze, a healthy and delicious breakfast, really enjoy Stay here next time!

Hidden away in the beautiful West Taihu Lake is a stunning guesthouse! Surrounded by the lake on three sides and backed by mountains, it's built right by the water, offering direct views of Taihu Lake. The overall design is bright and pristine white, blending diverse elements like Chinese and French styles, earning it the nickname ”Suzhou's Santorini.” The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, with gorgeous sunsets. The service is warm and friendly, and the facilities are top-notch. Each room boasts enormous 180-degree lake view floor-to-ceiling windows, electric blinds, electric screens, sound systems, private projection cinemas, smart toilets, lake-facing bathtubs, and high-quality toiletries. In summer, you can enjoy the outdoor pool, and there's even a 'Sky Realm' on the rooftop! Public facilities like the gym and mahjong room are also fully equipped! It's a one-stop destination for fun! If you're visiting Taihu Lake, this place is a must-try.

In the past 12 months, I have stayed in over 80 hotels around the world. More than 60 in China. Many of them are positively memorable. The Mehoud perhaps tops all of them in terms of unexpected delight. Physically the hotel is a design bonanza. Recently opened, inspiring u architectural details and finishes are evident throughout. Amenities are excellent. Luxury bath robes and bath towels, small gym with good weights, a pool, laundry machines... It is one of the few hotels with balconies and terraces allowing access to fresh air However, its greatest asset is undoubtedly the management and staff. The general manager seems extraordinary. Sometimes tending the coffee shop, greeting guests in the restaurant, and roaming the hotel. Wait staff go out of their way to accommodate guests, and so many speak at least a little bit of English

We went there as a couple and really enjoyed pur stay overall. The hot spring facilities are good and with unlimited access during the opening hours. The breakfast i healthy and tasty, they also offer freshly cooked dishes. The location is also very convenient, close to an easy hike to see bamboo forest and nearby temple. Its also possible to walk to nearby emerald lake. They also have a bookstore/library where can read. The staff is helpful and friendly. Only minus would be for us the amount of families with small children, it can be quite noisy in the public area with kids running around and screaming. Kids are of course innocent and playful but it makes the stay less relaxing. Overall we are very satisfied 🌷very good value for the price! Recommended

Banyan Tree, as always, is wonderfully secluded and comfortable! The butler, a lovely lady, upgraded our room again. And we even ran into Alice Xiaoxiao, the butler who assisted us during our stay last year – it was great to see her again! She proactively reached out before check-in to ask about our needs and was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The concierge service upon arrival was also very thoughtful. The courtyards, lush greenery, and water features are beautifully designed, offering a new picturesque view at every turn. The views from our room were truly refreshing and invigorating! Kids' toiletries were fully stocked, and the complimentary soft drinks were of good quality, not just an afterthought. The hotel also offers free activities like Baduanjin (a traditional Chinese exercise), cocktail making, and night runs! Overall, a very satisfying stay! Excellent value for money! **Dining:** The hotel's Baiyun Restaurant is also fantastic. Even though dinner was a set menu from a group deal, every dish was surprisingly delicious! It's a perfect alternative to the Rongsheng Restaurant next door, where you often have to queue for two hours if you don't want to wait. They've changed breakfast to a mostly buffet style, which can sometimes mean colder food with a less-than-ideal texture. However, they still offer à la carte service upon request, which is great! And the champagne was delicious! **Activities:** This trip, we came specifically to climb Lion Mountain, and we successfully reached the summit – the entire scenic area is very thoughtfully developed! Safety measures are also very well implemented! Whether looking out from the mountain or gazing at it from the hotel, it's a view within a view – perfect for photos! There are several well-designed buildings nearby, like museums and science centers, all within walking distance. The hotel key card provides direct access to Lion Mountain Park, and in the evening, they even offer transportation for a golf course tour. The park has added more activities since last year, including a mini-train, cycling, and boating. This year, we even tried kayaking – so much fun! We'll definitely be back next year! Our sincere thanks to Alice Xiaoxiao, our butler, who made our first stay enjoyable and our second even more comfortable. Also, a big shout-out to the handsome concierge who helped with our luggage! The auntie providing turn-down service gave our child small gifts and drinks, and the three lovely ladies at the bar patiently taught us cocktail making… All the hotel staff made us feel so warm and welcome. Looking forward to our next stay!

My overall stay was excellent. The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, with great housekeeping. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The in-room facilities were comprehensive, with stable hot water and effective air conditioning. The front desk staff were warm and polite, handling check-in and check-out efficiently, and responding promptly to any issues. The common areas were clean and quiet, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The value for money was great, and the experience exceeded my expectations. It's suitable for both business trips and short getaways. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit and highly recommend it to others.

This summer, I took my child to the Marriott hotel by Lake Tai in Suzhou for a weekend getaway. Before our arrival, the hotel butler called and mentioned they'd add me on WeChat, but they only did so at the front desk after we'd checked in. I had already informed the Ctrip customer service to request a room upgrade and late check-out, but when I repeatedly asked about the upgrade at check-in, I didn't get a direct answer. They did grant the late check-out though. The room was just so-so; the pillows were incredibly soft and very uncomfortable to sleep on. The placement of the trash cans was also quite inconvenient; there wasn't one near the sink. The recreation center was pretty good, with both indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pool was 27 degrees Celsius, and the water had just been changed at the end of June. The outdoor pool had a children's play area, which my child thoroughly enjoyed. On Saturday nights during the summer, there was even a pool party with fireworks. The recreation center also had mahjong rooms, table tennis rooms, and billiard rooms, but all of these cost extra. Breakfast was truly disappointing; the variety didn't meet five-star hotel standards, and the dishes were the same for both days of our stay. We even had to ask a staff member for spoons, which was quite inconvenient. On the night of our arrival, I asked the butler for body lotion, but it took a long time to arrive. Overall, the staff wasn't very enthusiastic.

I was upgraded to a room on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view. What really blew me away was the hotel lobby – the design aesthetics are just incredible, absolutely stunning! The whole hotel is filled with lush greenery, giving you a real vacation vibe. The breakfast was Western style, not really to my taste, but the environment was definitely amazing. The food near the hotel, especially the chicken wontons, was surprisingly good – I'll definitely be having them again next time! The service was also great, and they even have a shuttle bus.

Mommy went on a business trip over the weekend, and Xiaobao stayed at home. She said she would take me to Happy Farm, but Xiaobao was very picky about accommodation (very picky, there must be a three-piece suite (large bathtub + large floor-to-ceiling glass + large floor-to-ceiling glass)). Bed) and additional conditions (must have a mountain view), so it was more expensive for me, so I took Xiaobao and left as soon as possible. Within the limited time, I chose this B&B that met the parameters. It has an L-shaped wide viewing angle and a large landing. Extra large bathtub, smart home, with its own parking lot for charging. It is very convenient to drive to Happy Farm, Piaomiao Peak and Linwu Cave. There are also many nearby dining places by the lake. I recommend a Kingfisher restaurant for its dining environment and quantity of dishes. All are OK, the overall accommodation is good value for money
