YikehuacongI loved this hotel and wished I could have stayed longer! This time, I came from Tokyo on the Shinkansen and stayed in Sendai for three nights. The hotel's location is unbeatable – right above the Shinkansen exit. You step off the train and check in almost instantly. After breakfast, it's a quick 5-minute walk to the platform for trains heading north to Aomori and Ninohe on the third floor. It's incredibly convenient and perfect for anyone with a JR Pass traveling north. Plus, it's very quiet.
The room, by Japanese standards, was quite spacious, especially the bathroom, which had a separate shower and toilet, and the massage showerhead was a real treat. They provided a full range of samples: facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner/lotion, and hair oil – everything you could need, making it super convenient.
There's a dedicated smoking room on the third floor for guests, accessible with your room key. While there's a gym, it only has cardio equipment. On the fourth floor, there's a lounge with views and drinks, which I didn't get to experience due to my tight schedule.
Laundry facilities are on the 7th and 11th floors. Just bring 100-yen coins. However, there's only one top-loader washing machine and one dryer, so you might have to wait.
Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were very friendly.
The breakfast was Western-style but also included local specialties like beef tongue and fish cake, which were pretty good. There was a wide variety of vegetables, and I made sure to load up before heading out to fuel my day.
There are major department stores nearby for easy shopping. And don't miss the zunda shake (edamame milkshake) inside the JR station – it's delicious.
I love Sendai and will definitely be back!

Guest UserA very nice and convenient hotel. About 8 min walk from sendai main station. The hotel entrance along the road can bit a bit of challenge to find but just keep a eye on it. The room is large and spacious by japanese standard. I did not try the breakfast but they provide free starbuck coffee at lounge from 1400 to 2200hrs. Would be good if they can change that hrs to morning onwards. They provide two type of pillows, one hard and one soft..which is good.
Thanks for hosting me

Keith077852Very nice and clean. The public bath is a plus for travellers who wish to have one in an urban area. The cost per room per night is also very attractive!!!

The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was rich and delicious, and the hot spring was excellent, even with ice cream available. It's also close to the station, and Nishikicho Park and Tohoku University are just a 15-minute walk away. There are many dining options nearby.

OliveycWe came to Akiu mainly to see Lu Xun's former residence, but the hotel itself was also great. Although there wasn't much of a view outside the window, Akiu Great Falls is just a short drive away. The front desk gave me a room on the top floor. The food, especially, deserves a special mention. My boyfriend ate 6 plates of the freshly grilled beef tongue, but he was still outdone by the Japanese gentleman next to us – I counted, he had 7 plates! I won't post other pictures as I see everyone else has posted plenty; I'll just share one of the massage chair. You can enjoy the view while getting a massage. It's very quiet during the day, and you can use it as much as you like without needing coins, which is much more generous than many other hotels. The parking lot is also spacious, so there's no need to worry about not finding a spot if you return late.

Jasper Ng KRThis hotel is located about 15mins walk away from Nakanosakae Station and 10mins walk away from Sendai Aquarium. Mitsui Outlet is also conveniently about 10mins walk away.
Check in can be a chore as it is self service but the staffs are available to help with the information required. Other than that, the hotel is awesome!
Breakfast has a huge spread, especially with the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi to make your own don. After your onsen bath, there is ice popsicle at night and lactic drink in the morning. The hotel also provides their late night Soyu Soba for free if you are hungry. Other than this, there is a comic library to pass your time. Room size is decent. Enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights.

Guest UserI absolutely loved this chain hotel. It's conveniently located very close to the station, though I'd recommend using navigation for the most straightforward route. Upon exiting the station, the easiest way is to head up to the second floor, walk a short distance, cross the street, and then take the stairs down. The room was a good size, and the layout was very practical.

Stayed one night in the main building. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with good amenities. Our package included both buffet breakfast and dinner, which was a nice touch. At check-in, guests are asked to select their preferred dining times. Since the restaurant can get quite busy, I recommend choosing the earliest slot for a more relaxed experience. The onsen facilities were decent and provided a chance to unwind. Overall, it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

I forgot to take photos, but overall the room was incredibly cramped, barely fitting two small beds. However, the management was very well-organized. The mattresses were comfortable, and the cotton sheets were clean, hygienic, and soft against the skin. I stayed for four days, and the bedding was changed daily. Bottled water was also provided. This was the best sleep I had during my entire trip to Japan.

kota0925For the price, the room was clean, and while it's not a grand public bath, there's a good-sized bath and even a sauna. Plus, the free drink bar at the entrance was a great bonus. It was a really nice place overall. My only minor suggestion would be to add a dedicated relaxation area.
