Guest UserThis place was the best accommodations we had for my parents and my wife, the rooms were spacious, the view was incredible, the hosts was so accommodating and warm, food was delicious.
To the right of the hotel is a muslim street with morning markets and sometimes night market, to the left of the hotel after the bridge is the Luoyi ancient city. There are performances every night during the golden week. A lot of festivities and a lot of the traditional hanfu places to try out nearby.
We loved this place and will always want to come back here.

Meimei___01A Charming Old Town Homestay in Luoyang: Beautiful but with a Few Quirks!
This is a beautifully renovated homestay nestled right inside Luoyang's ancient old town. If you are looking for a place with local character, this is a wonderful choice, though there are a few practical things you should know before booking.
The Cons (Things to consider):
The Location/Access: Because it is located deep within a narrow alley of the old town, large cars and taxis cannot pick you up or drop you off right at the doorstep. You will need to roll your luggage for about 400 meters to the main road. 🧳
The Breakfast: They serve a very traditional Chinese breakfast consisting of millet porridge, fried dough sticks (youtiao), and vegetable steamed buns. While it tasted good, it was a bit salty, and the menu was exactly the same every single day without any variation.
The Pros (Why I still loved it):
The Room & Vibe: Our triple room was incredibly spacious, spotlessly clean, and the entire courtyard was beautifully decorated with a lot of taste and local charm.
The Hospitality: The owner and the staff were absolutely amazing—super enthusiastic, warm, and helpful throughout our stay! ❤️
The Prime Location: Being situated inside the old town means it is exceptionally convenient. You can easily walk to all the major historical sights and the vibrant Drum Tower (Gulou) Night Market for amazing street food. 🏮🍢
Overall, despite the minor inconveniences with luggage and the repetitive breakfast, the massive rooms, lovely aesthetic, and unbeatable location make it a fantastic base for exploring Luoyang!

This place was surprisingly comfortable and a great stay! First, let me share about the thoughtful touches in the bathroom: they provide hair clips, small hair ties, cotton swabs, band-aids, and disposable paper cups. The most thoughtful part is that they replenish sanitary pads daily – such a warm gesture. Next, the morning music alarm was so uplifting; I'd find myself dancing while getting ready. The playlist is fresh, trendy, and enjoyable. Now, about the room environment: the cleaning staff would come in promptly every day to clean and would always ask if anyone was sleeping, trying their best not to disturb guests. I observed that they definitely change everything out after each guest, and it was always very clean and timely. I also want to share that each room is equipped with fire safety equipment, including emergency lighting and breathing apparatus – something many hotels don't offer. Their fire safety awareness is excellent! Finally, for leisure and entertainment, they have a separate vanity room, a library, a fitness area, a pool table, a mahjong machine, and a lounge and dining area. What I loved most was the cinema room. During my stay, I'd order takeout every evening and relax in the lobby, watching movies while eating. It was incredibly relaxing. I also want to mention the customer service staff – they would check in daily to ask about my stay and were always very helpful in resolving any issues. Very good! Their management is also very organized! When to clean, when to play music, the cleaning procedures – everything is very clear, and the check-in briefing was very detailed. Anyway, you'll know once you stay there! I highly recommend it and hope they open branches in other cities too.

Guest UserA heavy rain caused my train to Lanzhou to be cancelled. Feeling disappointed, a friend told me, ”Perhaps there's a hidden blessing in disguise?”
Maybe? In a rush, I bought a train ticket to Luoyang, thinking these days would just pass by in a blur. But fate showed me that everything is unpredictable.
I've been incredibly happy these past few days. I've almost never spent a full day in pure joy since I can remember, but here, I seem to have rediscovered all my hopes for travel. Perhaps what I seek isn't magnificent mountains and rivers or elaborate decorations, but the people I meet along the way and the stories that arise because of them.
On July 15th, I wrote: ”I don't want to be someone who only fantasizes in words.”
But before coming here, I no longer understood why I was setting out.
So on July 26th, I wrote again: ”I'm a little afraid to set out now. I constantly want to leave, but where to? What are those endless distances?”
Life sometimes feels like an immeasurable void to me, so I need everyone. How grateful I am for the stories that exist because of you all.
I won't forget Yiming and Wang Zhi, who first invited me to eat. I won't forget Sister Shuwen, whose itinerary was the exact opposite of mine. I remember the streets and alleys we walked together, the KTV we sang at, and our 5:30 AM breakfast.
The air that day was humid and muggy, with deep tree shadows. Willow branches swayed faintly, as if bidding a reluctant farewell. I fell back a few steps, wanting to remember your retreating figures. Guitar Bro casually chatted with Wangzi, Teacher Sis hummed a song, and I saw my bag swaying on Wangzi's back. I seem not to have visited many of the so-called must-see places in Luoyang, but it also feels like I've been to many places I was meant to see.
The roads around the building materials market are so confusing, and even now, I still don't know my way. That's because every time, you all were in front of me, by my side. I followed you closely, whether it was in the early morning before the city woke, the afternoon under the scorching sun, or a night that felt like I was walking in circles. I never felt scared.
So, perhaps I really should believe that fate always has the best plans. Thank you, heavy rain.
See you next time, everyone. See you next time, Luoyang.

TDMaoI rarely leave reviews, but this time I just had to because the hotel was so exceptional, and I didn't want the hard work of all the staff to go unnoticed.
I stayed for four days, and the room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, clean, and beautiful. But beyond the room's comfort, the service truly provided an overwhelming amount of emotional value. 👍
The complimentary pick-up and drop-off service was fantastic. The driver was formally dressed, neat, and proactively helped us with all our luggage. The car was also spotless, and everyone received a wet towel and a bottle of mineral water upon entering. The attention to detail in their service was outstanding.
The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and diligent. Every day, they offered a free selection of snacks, beverages, ice cream, and tea bags. Whenever we had questions, they answered with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, and even gave us various small gifts, which was a delightful surprise.
The housekeeping service was absolutely unparalleled; it made you feel like royalty (like even the emperor would bow to you! 😂). All the housekeeping ladies not only fulfilled every request but also proactively anticipated our needs. For example, when they saw my glasses on the table, a housekeeping attendant proactively brought an eyeglass case. When they noticed we had a lot of clothes, a lady would bring a drying rack. And when they saw our cosmetics scattered on the table, another lady brought two small cosmetic bags to help us organize and carry them more conveniently.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, with a comprehensive selection of Chinese and Western, hot and cold dishes. The restaurant staff would also proactively and randomly ask guests daily, 'How was your rest last night? Do you have any suggestions for improvement?' If they saw a guest carrying too many plates, they would offer to help carry them back to the table. For dishes that took a few minutes to prepare, they would ask for the table number and deliver them. If you didn't want to go downstairs for breakfast, they could even deliver it to your room.
The parking attendant was also amazing, helping with parking, moving cars, and safekeeping keys. Whenever you parked, the attendant was always there, truly providing constant assistance. 😂
Across every service, there were so many instances of such proactive service that it truly deserves the highest praise.

Guest UserBEST STAY EVER! Long review, but a meaningful one.
Hotel & Facilities:
I stayed here for 4 nights.
The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained.
The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area.
There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site!
The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay.
Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard.
The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful.
As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help.
Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle:
During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle.
The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night.
The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle.
Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care.
The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice.
Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites!
Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism.
I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition.
As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me.
Overall:
Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel.
The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling.
Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special !

AerbanigegeThis hotel was another pleasant surprise. Right after booking, I received a call from the butler asking about my arrival time and if I needed airport pickup. Since we were driving, they provided parking directions. We arrived late at night, and everyone, from the gate guard to the front desk staff and the team member who showed us to our room, was incredibly welcoming. I asked for only Coke in the mini-fridge and no other drinks, and they executed that perfectly.
The room was very spacious, and I loved that the hot spring bath was indoors and separated from the bedroom by a sliding door – that's a brilliant design.
The hotel butler was excellent and reminded us about breakfast. Oh, by the way, if you stay here, don't miss breakfast; that bowl of beef noodles was a real delight. If you need to go to a scenic spot, just contact the butler, and they'll do their best to arrange for a hotel car to take you there, which is a great service.
Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. Thanks for everything!
Welcome Fruit: Very sweet and a good variety.
Minibar Drinks: If you run out in the room, just grab a Haibi drink from the restaurant to enjoy.
Rose Petals: A whole tub full of romantic ambiance.

QiutangtangThis time, I chose to stay at the Marriott Hotel in Luoyang, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I especially want to commend the staff from all departments. Upon arrival, staff at the entrance helped with our luggage. The concierge and even a little robot delivered items to our room multiple times. The front desk staff were thoughtful and friendly during check-in. Once in the room, we found it to be comfortable, well-designed, and the attention to detail was impressive. The housekeeping staff even left a personalized welcome letter, which was a lovely touch, and all our individual needs were met. It was a truly delightful stay. The dining experience was also excellent, with high-quality food and attentive service. The Executive Lounge was fantastic; the staff were warm and polite, providing meticulous service, and the happy hour offerings were plentiful. Throughout our stay, the service was professional yet warm, with all departments working together seamlessly and responding promptly, making us feel genuinely valued. Whether for sightseeing or relaxation, this is an excellent choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Luoyang. Guest UserThis is a great place for a tourist. The price and environment are very good. It's next to the train station and the transportation is very convenient. There are buses from the train station to Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple. The lady at the front desk was very warm. She was worried that I might not be wearing enough clothes because of the temperature drop in Luoyang. I recommend staying here.
