"On my recent trip to Luoyang Longmen, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Luoyang Longmen. It's conveniently located right next to the Luoyang Longmen High-Speed Railway Station, just a 5-minute walk away. Luoyang was quite hot these past few days, but thankfully, the hotel provided immediate comfort upon entering. The facilities were excellent, and the service was very good. Upon entering my room, I found a spacious bed. From the window, I could see the high-speed rail station. I initially thought it might be noisy, but to my pleasant surprise, it was completely quiet, allowing me to sleep very well. The bed was also very comfortable."

"A very nice and comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location, and has a beautiful rooftop terrace. Located on the main axis of the Ancient City, but off on a quieter part so the city will not disturb your rest and relaxation. Also 5 minutes away walk from the subway and busses to the Luoyang Grottoes, White Horse Temple, and the Luoyang Museum, but the real treat is to be able to walk through the old city at night, right at your doorstep. The room was big, comfortable, had lots of electrical outlets and a nice shower. Staff was open and friendly. There are lockers at the front desk for safe storage."

"You might not believe it, but I specifically traveled to Luoyang to stay at this hotel after seeing it recommended in a video! We were offered complimentary fruit upon pickup, and there were more fruits and snacks available to order once we arrived at the hotel. I always appreciate a room with a bathtub, and a soak after a long, tiring day was truly rejuvenating. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering seafood first thing in the morning, alongside fresh-squeezed juices. I did think a coffee machine would be a good addition. While I enjoy Americanos, not everyone does. A machine could offer espresso and, with milk, a variety of other coffee drinks. 😂 The local specialties like beef soup and *hulatang* (spicy soup) were excellent. But the service truly stood out; they went above and beyond to fulfill almost all our requests. There was a minor incident upon check-out. We checked out at noon, but around 4 PM, I received a call stating that the plastic packaging of a condom in the room had been torn open. I asked my two children, and they admitted they were curious and picked it up, even asking me what it was, which I had seriously explained to them at the time. However, I am certain they did not tear open the outer packaging. Ultimately, the hotel refunded the charge they had initially deducted. Reflecting on it, if no one else had entered the room after our checkout, it's possible a child's nail might have accidentally scratched it, but it certainly wasn't deliberately torn open. I also extended my apologies to the hotel for any misunderstanding."

"This is a challenging hotel to review, so I'll just provide an objective description of its pros and cons, and you can make your own decision. I've visited Luoyang many times, and on this trip, I finally managed to book tickets for the Luoyang Museum, bringing my kids along for a few days. Big data truly delivered – right after I secured the museum tickets, Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) aggressively recommended this hotel. Frankly, most of what was shown on Xiaohongshu was accurate. The welcome staff were warm and attentive, room service was incredibly prompt, and complimentary snacks were readily available (including free beer, instant noodles, and ham sausages). But beyond that? The rooms were quite small, lacking a separate shower. The showerhead was fixed directly above the bathtub, only adjustable by angle, not position. I considered a bath, but finding a non-slip mat already in the tub, I ultimately abandoned the idea. The air conditioning was old and noisy at night. The mattress offered poor support, so those who prioritize sleep quality should be cautious. The toilet seat and lid lacked a soft-close mechanism, so you had to lower them gently to avoid a jarring noise. And the water stains on the showerhead and faucet weren't due to poor cleaning, but rather the indelible marks of time. In conclusion, this is a hotel of stark contrasts. While it provided excellent value for money with its room service for around 600 RMB a night, the limitations of its physical facilities and hardware ultimately set a ceiling on the overall experience."

It is said that because he was worried about the aunt cleaning, the boss cleaned it himself to ensure that the hygiene must be up to standard. The boss also took great pains to prepare breakfast for the guests. Several breakfast shops are open every day. Go and buy it yourself. On the first day, I casually said that we should have one less portion of Hu La Tang because I don't eat beef. On the second day, the boss prepared other types of breakfast for me without beef. It was so thoughtful. It is my own problem that I don't eat beef. The boss kept it in mind and arranged it well. By the way, there is one more thing that touched me very much. Luoyang was the first stop of our trip. On the first day when I arrived, I felt so sore in the waist that I couldn't stand. I originally wanted to get safflower oil from Ele.me, but it would be troublesome to carry it if I couldn't use it all. Thinking of giving it a try, I asked the boss. The boss sent three kinds of safflower oil that he had personally tested and found to be very useful. I applied them for three consecutive days with great results.
