"Out of the Jinjiang, Huazhu, and Intercontinental hotels we stayed at during our 5-day trip, this Intercontinental was the only one I immediately wanted to give a glowing review to. We were two adults with one child, and at every hotel, we'd ask the front desk for kids' toiletries. This was the only hotel that proactively sent kids' bath towels to our room without us even asking (even though we had our own disposable towels and didn't use theirs). This small detail alone shows how meticulous and thoughtful their service is, and it's definitely made me a huge fan of Intercontinental hotels!"

"This is a good choice when I made my booking to an unknown city. Location wise so near to main attraction such as Louyang Ancient City. It does not sit exactly in the main street so you have to walk a bit roughly 200m inside. With luggage maybe found bit difficulty as uneven stone pathway to the hotel. Though this should not dampen your mood for staying here. I got ground floor. I guess those without balcony were given groud floor. It have high floor to ceiling window/sliding door facing the main pathway. Can't really open the curtain then everyone pass though will see you. Upper floor should not have this issue. There this side upright chair/cusyen where one can just sit and lounge around eating all the snack one just bought outside the street. TV is big I do not have time to watch any. I think tis the subscription version. All necessary amenities is available. đŸ€· There's washing machine but only operational 10am to 10pm and I didn't have time to use it. Ground floor may have issue with sound as I can hear upstairs things moving around but I'm so tired from all day walk so this just temporary nuisance. All in all I highly recommend this place if the area you intended to visit is around the hotel."

"The homestay is located on the pedestrian street right outside Luoyi Old City. It is easier to access through the parking lot at the back, though most taxi driver will refuse to reach there as the street is pretty narrow. Although the homestay follows old Chinese theme for all rooms and furniture, everything is new and clean. We even had water filter machine. There’s a separate laundry room that you can use for free. We were lucky that our room was at the very back, far from the noisy pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who prefer staying close the to old city to take photoshoot in Chinese costumes."

"Stayed at the Tongque Hotel for two days in Luoyang, and overall it was fantastic. They have their own dedicated parking lot. The most crucial thing is the hotel's great location, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The service was exceptional. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. Our room was also very spacious, and we slept incredibly comfortably. They provided four bottles of mineral water daily. The hotel is very quiet because it doesn't have many rooms. I'm really glad I chose this place; I saw other reviews saying this hotel was excellent, and now I'm leaving my own review. Luoyang has low prices and incredibly warm service. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance."

"This stay was truly fantastic; I rarely write positive reviews. First, the front desk staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, maintaining a warm and polite demeanor throughout. Check-in was efficient and smooth, and they patiently and meticulously answered all my questions. Their excellent attitude made me feel comfortable from the moment I entered. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and well-balanced ingredients, with a good mix of meat and vegetables, and delicious flavors, satisfying different culinary needs. The dining environment was clean and tidy, and the service in the breakfast area was excellent. What touched me most was that after checking out, I accidentally left some belongings in my room. I thought I'd never find them again, but the hotel staff noticed and immediately called to inform me. They even proactively and thoughtfully packed and mailed them for me. Their meticulous and responsible handling throughout was truly heartwarming. The overall room was clean and comfortable, with attention to detail. The service was meticulous and personalized. Both the facilities and the service were impeccable, offering excellent value for money. "I usually don't write reviews, but I just *have* to recommend this hotel! For this trip, I booked an Executive Family Room, and it was excellent value for money. The room was spacious; even with two beds, it didn't feel cramped. The double vanity in the bathroom was perfect for three people sharing, making our morning routines a breeze. They also offer complimentary laundry service daily and a nightly 'goodnight milk' service. I especially want to praise the services on the Executive Floor. On the morning of our check-in, hotel staff called ahead to explain the process, informing us that Executive Floor guests could check in at the Executive Lounge on the 21st floor. Adding their WeChat concierge for 24-hour assistance was super convenient. While checking in, we enjoyed afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the lounge itself had a very elegant atmosphere. It was pouring rain in Luoyang that day, so spending the entire afternoon there, sipping coffee, was wonderfully relaxing. The night before we left, I experienced the Starlight Bar in the Executive Lounge. The rooftop garden, with its gentle evening breeze, was incredibly pleasant. After checking out, the staff even gave us peony-themed brooches and fans, which was such a lovely touch and really enhanced the whole experience! Environment: The guesthouse's location is perfect! It's just a few minutes' walk to Luoyi Ancient City and Shizijie. Cleanliness: The room was spacious and spotless! Facilities: The room featured smart home appliances, and the zero-pressure, spine-friendly mattress was super comfortable and helped us relax after a long day. GGuest UserThe room was great, and my dorm mates were all very quiet. The common area is separate from the sleeping quarters, so singing karaoke there won't disturb anyone. The common area also has hot water, daily free drinks, and even mahjong. It's located in a bustling area, not far from the subway or tourist attractions, and the neighborhood feels safe. The female toilets and showers are separate, which I really appreciate. This is definitely one of my favorite hostels.

The service was top-notch, truly. I chose Christine after reading so many glowing reviews, and it definitely paid off! My parents couldn't stop praising the staff, saying every single employee they encountered was warm, friendly, and incredibly polite: from the lobby manager, concierge, and front desk, to the housekeeping staff, restaurant crew, and even the driver who took them to the station – every single one was just wonderful. Such a hotel culture and management level is truly impressive! On top of that, the breakfast and afternoon tea were incredibly rich and delicious. Next time we're in Luoyang, we're definitely staying here again!

The room is also very clean, breaking the impression of B&B haha There is no elevator, but I see that there are old houses around that have been converted into B&Bs, and none of them have elevators, so I can accept that there is no elevator, after all, it is very close to the scenic spot You can tell from the details of the homestay that the owner has carefully arranged it. The service is also very good. When we checked out, he saw us taking our luggage downstairs and ran up to help us get it. Mineral water is free of charge. The disposables are also of high quality. The room itself was quite nice, and the staff were friendly. However, because the hotel is so large, finding the elevators was confusing. The map provided wasn't very clear. There should be more recognizable signs on the walls indicating room numbers and elevator directions. A concerning incident was when I couldn't find an elevator after walking around for a long time, so I decided to take the stairs down. To my surprise, the door on the first floor was locked. I had to go back up to the second floor to find an elevator. For safety, how can the bottom door of a fire escape be locked?

The hotel rooms were meticulously clean, and being able to smoke in the room was a really thoughtful touch! The interior was tidy and odor-free, and both the bedding and bathroom facilities were spotless and hygienic, perfectly meeting all basic daily living needs. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its superb location. It's situated right inside the Longmen Grottoes scenic area, just 200 meters from the grottoes entrance. There's no need to rush in the morning or spend time commuting to and from the site; you can reach the attractions with just a short walk, saving a significant amount of travel time. This is especially convenient for visitors specifically coming to explore the grottoes. Star rating aside, the clean rooms combined with the unparalleled location made me feel like I was sharing a mountain with the Great Buddha.

GGuest UserDecided to try out one of their unique room types. The room wasn't huge, but it was incredibly well-equipped. The little courtyard was so relaxing, and having a private hot spring tub was a real bonus! My child absolutely loved it. The butler was also fantastic, responding to messages 24/7 almost instantly. The front desk lady was very kind, and they even offered a pick-up and drop-off service. The staff member who drove us was handsome and had a great attitude – my husband even commented that his voice sounded like Wang Yibo's! Overall, a great experience and definitely worth checking out.

GGuest UserIt was very quiet after 11 PM, and the view was fantastic; you could see the city walls from your room. The facilities were complete, including a washer and dryer. Transportation was very convenient, very close to the subway and bus stations. The old city was right downstairs, with a lively, bustling atmosphere – it felt like stepping back in time. The room was very clean and odor-free, with 24-hour hot water. Most importantly, it was located on the city walls, so I highly recommend it.

GGuest UserThis is a great place for a tourist. The price and environment are very good. It's next to the train station and the transportation is very convenient. There are buses from the train station to Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple. The lady at the front desk was very warm. She was worried that I might not be wearing enough clothes because of the temperature drop in Luoyang. I recommend staying here.
