"Excellent value for money, the experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel is within walking distance of Longmen High-speed Railway Station. The room was spacious, facilities were new, and it was very comfortable to stay in. The breakfast selection was rich. The hotel staff provided great service. I stayed for 6 days and didn't feel any inconvenience of traveling; it was convenient and comfortable. Highly recommended."

"I stayed in Luoyang for a night over the weekend and had to switch rooms five times. Although the front desk staff were very friendly, it was truly exhausting because the facilities were just terrible. I arrived in the afternoon and was told I'd received an upgrade. However, I found that the headboard and door were on the same side, the bathroom was almost as big as the room itself, and neither the sofa nor the bed faced the TV. After sitting for a bit and feeling uncomfortable, I called the front desk to switch rooms. The new key card was delivered by a robot. The second room was the standard type I had booked, but the window was tiny, and the room was incredibly dim during the peak afternoon sun. It looked nothing like the pictures, which was very frustrating, so I went downstairs to change again. For the third room, I was upgraded to a lake-view room. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong, industrial smell, like new building materials. I initially thought it wasn't too bad, but after a short while, my nose became completely blocked. I suspect it was due to excessive formaldehyde and benzene, which triggered my rhinitis. So, I went downstairs to the front desk to switch rooms again. The fourth room was also a lake-view, and it had a damp, plant-like smell, but at least no renovation odor. I asked housekeeping to open the windows and then went out to get some food. When I returned, because the windows were open, I turned on the lights and saw a lot of bugs on the bed. When I looked up, the ceiling light strip was covered in them. Housekeeping came to look but couldn't fix it, so I had to go downstairs to switch rooms again. To be fair, this wasn't entirely the hotel's fault since I had opened the windows and turned on the lights myself, but I never expected so many bugs to fly up to the 18th floor. For the fifth room, they directly upgraded me to a suite. I guess the front desk staff were probably at their wits' end. Because the suite had sealed windows and fewer people stay in them, it still had a renovation smell. The toilet wasn't smart, and the toilet seat kept sliding around. Sigh, I really didn't want to bother anymore, so I just put up with it for the night and left the next day. I really don't recommend this hotel; it's honestly the worst Marriott I've ever stayed in. The TV doesn't even support screen mirroring. Last year, I stayed at the Mercure just across the street for less than 200 at the same time of year, and this 600-700 Marriott is not even as good as that. The value for money is extremely low."

"This is a good choice when I made my booking to an unknown city. Location wise so near to main attraction such as Louyang Ancient City. It does not sit exactly in the main street so you have to walk a bit roughly 200m inside. With luggage maybe found bit difficulty as uneven stone pathway to the hotel. Though this should not dampen your mood for staying here. I got ground floor. I guess those without balcony were given groud floor. It have high floor to ceiling window/sliding door facing the main pathway. Can't really open the curtain then everyone pass though will see you. Upper floor should not have this issue. There this side upright chair/cusyen where one can just sit and lounge around eating all the snack one just bought outside the street. TV is big I do not have time to watch any. I think tis the subscription version. All necessary amenities is available. 🤷 There's washing machine but only operational 10am to 10pm and I didn't have time to use it. Ground floor may have issue with sound as I can hear upstairs things moving around but I'm so tired from all day walk so this just temporary nuisance. All in all I highly recommend this place if the area you intended to visit is around the hotel."

"Located in the walking street it's in a very convinent location with many shops and stools nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean. There is a balcony on the 3rd floor of the building and is quite large. It has a great view at night and nice atmosphere definitely recommend going up there once during the stay. The hotel also provided us with tea snacks and tea which was kind but also when checking out gave us multiple local gifts. Sincerely deserves more ratings. Thank you and see you again when in Luoyang."

"Right outside the high-speed rail station, I immediately spotted the purple sign for the shuttle. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and upgraded my room. It happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival, and the hotel lobby had activities like sachet making. The mini-bar offered afternoon tea, and the room itself was clean, tidy, and bright. The bathroom was quite spacious with a great wet/dry separation. Don't miss out on the hotel breakfast; it's definitely worth the price."

"Locarion is nearby to Luoyi Ancient Town. The room service was superb. The hostess upgrades us to bigger room when there's availability. All other staff will help us in making the stay comfortable, including helping us move our luggages to the other rooms when needed. The hostess recommended us places to eat and helped to call to confirm our Empress Wu feast seats. Absolutely a delight to stay there."

"Honestly, this was a pleasant surprise! I didn't expect to find such a charming, elegant, and comfortable hotel in a small tourist city, especially so close to the scenic spots. It perfectly met our needs. Parking was convenient, and the facilities were complete. The lobby, while not extravagant, was warm and refined. The room design was well thought out, with a small balcony, a decent bathroom, and high-quality hardware like lighting and power outlets. The adjacent restaurant, Yiji Luoyang Cuisine, was also incredibly impressive. We ate there twice, trying over ten different dishes, and not a single one was a disappointment! I forgot to take pictures, so you can ignore the few I've included."

The dining environment was clean and tidy, and the service in the breakfast area was excellent. What touched me most was that after checking out, I accidentally left some belongings in my room. I thought I'd never find them again, but the hotel staff noticed and immediately called to inform me. They even proactively and thoughtfully packed and mailed them for me. Their meticulous and responsible handling throughout was truly heartwarming. The overall room was clean and comfortable, with attention to detail. The service was meticulous and personalized. Both the facilities and the service were impeccable, offering excellent value for money. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend it to everyone—it's definitely worth a stay!"

"Our stay at Qichi Riverside B&B in Luoyang was truly wonderful! The location is great, very close to Luoyi Ancient City, and the surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The B&B host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. They helped us hang our clothes to dry and even lent us their phone number to order takeout 📱. Every day, there was hot coffee and milk tea available, and before we left, they even gave us a small gift. It was full of warm hospitality ❤️."

"I usually don't write reviews, but I just *have* to recommend this hotel! For this trip, I booked an Executive Family Room, and it was excellent value for money. The room was spacious; even with two beds, it didn't feel cramped. The double vanity in the bathroom was perfect for three people sharing, making our morning routines a breeze. They also offer complimentary laundry service daily and a nightly 'goodnight milk' service. I especially want to praise the services on the Executive Floor. On the morning of our check-in, hotel staff called ahead to explain the process, informing us that Executive Floor guests could check in at the Executive Lounge on the 21st floor. Adding their WeChat concierge for 24-hour assistance was super convenient. While checking in, we enjoyed afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the lounge itself had a very elegant atmosphere. It was pouring rain in Luoyang that day, so spending the entire afternoon there, sipping coffee, was wonderfully relaxing. The night before we left, I experienced the Starlight Bar in the Executive Lounge. The rooftop garden, with its gentle evening breeze, was incredibly pleasant. After checking out, the staff even gave us peony-themed brooches and fans, which was such a lovely touch and really enhanced the whole experience! I've already highly recommended this hotel to all my friends. Choosing to stay here was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Luoyang, and I'm extremely satisfied!"
