The breakfast was plentiful, and the room, originally an Atour, was very comfortable and modern. What truly stood out was that I accidentally left my LV wallet in the room after checking out, which contained over 1000 cash. The cleaning staff showed incredible integrity, and the hotel's management is clearly top-notch. Within an hour of checking out, I received a call from the front desk notifying me about my lost item. I hope the hotel recognizes the housekeeping staff for their honesty and for upholding such a commendable spirit. Thank you!

ShuijiaohuanghouI booked this hotel for my parents, and they were absolutely delighted. It's conveniently located near all the major attractions, and getting around by taxi or subway is super easy. The service was top-notch, truly. I chose Christine after reading so many glowing reviews, and it definitely paid off! My parents couldn't stop praising the staff, saying every single employee they encountered was warm, friendly, and incredibly polite: from the lobby manager, concierge, and front desk, to the housekeeping staff, restaurant crew, and even the driver who took them to the station – every single one was just wonderful. Such a hotel culture and management level is truly impressive! On top of that, the breakfast and afternoon tea were incredibly rich and delicious. Next time we're in Luoyang, we're definitely staying here again!

Location: Right on Longmen Ancient Street, very close to Longmen Grottoes.
Service: The service was excellent, and they were very responsive to all requests. When I first arrived, I couldn't find the place, and the lady at the front desk came out in the scorching sun to guide me. Throughout my stay, they were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to anything I needed.
Facilities: Plenty of power outlets, including USB direct charging and even a Type-C direct charging port, which is really fantastic!
However, I do have one small complaint. In 36°C weather, a toilet seat that felt like 40°C made me sweat just looking at it. Also, the placement of the door and the trash can is awkward; I scraped my arm on the doorknob while throwing out trash, and it really stung. I'd suggest moving the trash can or adding one near the sink!

The overall environment is pretty good, and the breakfast at 68 is reasonably priced. The room had water and 4 complimentary drinks. The room itself was quite nice, and the staff were friendly. However, because the hotel is so large, finding the elevators was confusing. The map provided wasn't very clear. There should be more recognizable signs on the walls indicating room numbers and elevator directions. A concerning incident was when I couldn't find an elevator after walking around for a long time, so I decided to take the stairs down. To my surprise, the door on the first floor was locked. I had to go back up to the second floor to find an elevator. For safety, how can the bottom door of a fire escape be locked?

Guest UserProblem 1. I arrived at the hotel shortly after 4pm on the checkin day but learned that the room was not available. They rented it out for the hourly rental and told me that the guest just checked out and would take 20 minutes to clean the room for me. I was stuned! As the check in time is 2pm, how could they rent the room out without knowing it was reserved for nightly rental and it only took 20 minutes to clean a room? This kind of operatons is not acceptable. Though the staff was friendly and apologizingly to provide me another type of room, the bed size ( twins) and the window view (no view) were all different and not better. At first I considered to switch what they offered at the time of my arrival because I was very tired. But then I decided to wait because the new room was not better.
Problem 2. At night, when I took a shower, I realized that the water stored in the shower floor like a little basin. It didn't and couldn't get complete dry even till next morning. See photo. The moles have alreay formed a cycle for a period of the time, but the hotel didn't fix it and still rented it.
Problem 3. Another day, I couldn't turn the heater on. The staff then told me they turned the heater off at the end of March.
I will NOT recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Although Dongshan Longyue isn't officially star-rated, my overall stay far exceeded expectations. The hotel rooms were meticulously clean, and being able to smoke in the room was a really thoughtful touch! The interior was tidy and odor-free, and both the bedding and bathroom facilities were spotless and hygienic, perfectly meeting all basic daily living needs.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its superb location. It's situated right inside the Longmen Grottoes scenic area, just 200 meters from the grottoes entrance. There's no need to rush in the morning or spend time commuting to and from the site; you can reach the attractions with just a short walk, saving a significant amount of travel time. This is especially convenient for visitors specifically coming to explore the grottoes.
Star rating aside, the clean rooms combined with the unparalleled location made me feel like I was sharing a mountain with the Great Buddha.

Guest UserDecided to try out one of their unique room types. The room wasn't huge, but it was incredibly well-equipped. The little courtyard was so relaxing, and having a private hot spring tub was a real bonus! My child absolutely loved it. The butler was also fantastic, responding to messages 24/7 almost instantly. The front desk lady was very kind, and they even offered a pick-up and drop-off service. The staff member who drove us was handsome and had a great attitude – my husband even commented that his voice sounded like Wang Yibo's! Overall, a great experience and definitely worth checking out.

Guest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent central location, close to both Yingtians Gate and Lijing Gate. The subway station is conveniently located just over 100 meters away, making travel incredibly easy. The front desk staff were very attentive; they called us around noon to ask about our arrival time and proactively arranged two connecting rooms for us, also inquiring if we had any special requests. The room's cleanliness was quite good, and it featured a smart speaker (Xiao Du). The buffet breakfast was also very generous with a wide variety of options, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The only improvement I would suggest is for the bathroom's wet and dry separation – adding a door to better separate the water would be perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Ismahani SayutiThe location is very close to luoyi ancient city, less than 5 mins walk. When we arrived, the boss pickup us at cross road due to small alley so our driver cannot drop us directly. Boss is very nice even though we do not understanding Chinese. We communicate via translator apps. Breakfast is provided but we woke up late 😂😂 so the kitchen is closed already. But it’s okay tho because when we asked for extended check out, the boss kindly offer no further fee. We explore luoyi ancient city (5min walking), lijing gate (10min via DiDi) and yingtianmen (18min via DiDi). The room is very modern look and using smart system. The lock also using auto lock so no worries for break enter. The bed and pillow so soft we sleep soundly. There is auto lighting at the mirror in the bathroom which is very nice for makeup. There is small courtyard outside room which is very aesthetic. Overall nice environment and experience. Very recommended for foreigners like us.

Guest UserThis hidden gem in the city offers peace and tranquility, blending rustic charm with the owner's thoughtful attention to detail. The yard features a play area for kids, a BBQ spot for adults, fruit and vegetable picking, and even a home for stray cats. September seems to be off-peak, making it excellent value for money.
