The hotel's location is excellent. It's a short walk to Luoyi Old Town and also within strolling distance of Shizi Street. Luoyang has shared e-bikes everywhere, so finding food and attractions is usually within a ten-minute ride. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. I mentioned something to them before checking in, and I completely forgot about it later, but they reminded me, which saved me a lot of trouble. I really appreciate that! The room was great too. I booked a triple room and asked if there were partitions between the beds, in case we wanted some privacy. When I checked in, the owner said they had specially installed a curtain with a track beforehand, which was incredibly accommodating – truly going above and beyond to meet our needs. Thanks to the owner as well! Overall, I'm very satisfied with everything. If I come back to Luoyang, I'll definitely stay here again.

Open the window and gaze upon a thousand years of history, with the Luo River flowing right outside. This B&B is nestled inside Lijing Gate, a traditional courtyard of green bricks and grey tiles, offering an authentic Luoyang experience. The room was clean and elegant. The owner's hand-drawn tourist map was thoughtful and incredibly useful, and they even gifted us peony cakes as a souvenir. After exploring Shizi Street at night, I returned to the terrace to enjoy a cup of tea, watching the ancient city lights twinkle. It felt as if I was living in history itself. The location is superb, convenient for visiting Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple. It's not a cold hotel, but a warm home. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Cleanliness: Tidy and spotless, the environment is quite nice. It's close to attractions and offers great value for money, highly recommended! 👍🏻 There's a small courtyard which is very cozy. The front desk staff was friendly and even walked us to the entrance of the scenic area.

The location is great, walkable to both the old railway station and long distance bus station. Tons of local restaurants and stores are right downstairs. The room is very clean and decorated with a modern style, equipped with a big TV. The breakfast included is typical with many choices, and some local specialty food like beef soup, hula soup. Although located in the downtown area, the hotel is actually pretty quiet inside. We also like the roof garden very much. It has a live bamboo wall and a couple of pavilions, excellent for resting and light exercises.

The overall environment is pretty good, and the breakfast at 68 is reasonably priced. The room had water and 4 complimentary drinks. The room itself was quite nice, and the staff were friendly. However, because the hotel is so large, finding the elevators was confusing. The map provided wasn't very clear. There should be more recognizable signs on the walls indicating room numbers and elevator directions. A concerning incident was when I couldn't find an elevator after walking around for a long time, so I decided to take the stairs down. To my surprise, the door on the first floor was locked. I had to go back up to the second floor to find an elevator. For safety, how can the bottom door of a fire escape be locked?

BEST STAY EVER! Long review, but a meaningful one. Hotel & Facilities: I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area. There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site! The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay. Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard. The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful. As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help. Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle: During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle. The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night. The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle. Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care. The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice. Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites! Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism. I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition. As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me. Overall: Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel. The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling. Tired of the city's hustle and bustle, I finally found my 'paradise' here. Tucked away in Luoyang Banshan is an absolutely divine hotel. Opening the window reveals a lush green vista, making time seem to slow down. What I loved most was the 'private courtyard with a private hot spring' design. 24-hour natural hot spring water flows directly into your room, so no more crowded public pools. In the evening, soaking in the steamy hot spring while watching the twilight descend over the mountains melted away a whole week's fatigue. The hotel even provides rose petals and mugwort bath bags, which really elevates the experience! It's only a ten-minute drive from the Longmen Grottoes, so after exploring the ancient sites, coming back for a hot spring soak is just the perfect end to the day. Whether it's for a romantic getaway or a girls' trip, this place offers plenty of privacy and a relaxing vibe. The hotel also offers shuttle service, and the butler service is excellent, promptly addressing any issues. Super thoughtful! The room was clean and tidy, and the hot spring water temperature was just right, incredibly refreshing. A truly satisfying travel experience, highly recommended!

I was extremely happy to stay. At Yading hotel . I was very impressed and grateful to the service manager Mr Wang Yi who helped a lot during my stay at the hotel. Problem 1. I arrived at the hotel shortly after 4pm on the checkin day but learned that the room was not available. They rented it out for the hourly rental and told me that the guest just checked out and would take 20 minutes to clean the room for me. I was stuned! As the check in time is 2pm, how could they rent the room out without knowing it was reserved for nightly rental and it only took 20 minutes to clean a room? This kind of operatons is not acceptable. Though the staff was friendly and apologizingly to provide me another type of room, the bed size ( twins) and the window view (no view) were all different and not better. At first I considered to switch what they offered at the time of my arrival because I was very tired. But then I decided to wait because the new room was not better. Problem 2. At night, when I took a shower, I realized that the water stored in the shower floor like a little basin. It didn't and couldn't get complete dry even till next morning. See photo. The moles have alreay formed a cycle for a period of the time, but the hotel didn't fix it and still rented it. Problem 3. Another day, I couldn't turn the heater on. The staff then told me they turned the heater off at the end of March. I will NOT recommend this hotel to other travelers.

The hotel offers complimentary jasmine tea bags in the room. Enjoying a cup while gazing at the ancient city's night view from the window was truly delightful! The lobby also has a tea room where you can relax, perfect for unwinding and chatting over a cup of tea after a long day of sightseeing. These small details, though seemingly insignificant, truly show the hotel's attentiveness and care. Such warm moments during a trip are what make it truly memorable!
