LLuquanliuruThis is absolutely a hidden gem! I was driving from Jinan to Datong, planning a two-day trip, and decided to stop in Laiyuan for a rest. I never expected to find such a beautiful courtyard; I didn't want to go back inside while strolling around. The owners, a husband and wife, were incredibly welcoming and patient, and they had a whole yard full of flowers and plants, including a century-old peony. They even bought some local specialties for breakfast, which was delicious and very satisfying. In the evening, I watched the large-scale light show with iron flower fireworks and water jetpack performances at Laiyuan Lake, along with a band performance. I didn't feel tired even after playing until 10 pm. It was even more fun than a planned trip! I regret not taking more photos of the guesthouse; it was very clean. I would definitely come back again.

MM515227****Overall, it was excellent. The kitchenware and front desk service were fantastic. They had everything you could need, including cooking pots, woks, and knives. The room was fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, refrigerator, and iron. Food delivery robots even came upstairs! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

BBig FheezohI'm a business tourist from the USA, stayed at this hotel almost 2 weeks and they all made me feel at home. This hotel excels in customer service...and I don't say that lightly. I've stayed in almost 12 different hotels in my extensive travels across China and in general, hotel personnel attitudes tend to be cold, formal and impersonal. But staff at this hotel....from front desk, to restaurant and cleaning staff are very personable, warm and friendly. The ladies at the front desk are super sweet, kind, friendly and helpful. The lady that checked me in was very nice. Another front desk lady (she told me not to mention her name) went out of her way to spend hours on the phone and online to help me resolve some serious online order logistics issues because I don't speak Chinese. If I was looking for a Chinese wife, I woulda sly slid a wedding ring on her finger before she knows what hit her 😜😂
I sure 'nuff enjoyed my stay....and heck yeah I'll be back!!!

Environment: Located right next to the scenic spot, just a 10-minute walk straight ahead. You can even enjoy the view from your room in the morning; it's situated right at the foot of the mountain. My husband loved it and said it deserves a rave review. Highly recommended!
Service: The owners are incredibly helpful! It's a husband-and-wife business! The first time we went, we took the wrong route and got off at Yeshanpo. The owners picked us up in the middle of the night and took us to Bailixia! So touching! The owner even personally picked us up! Truly highly recommended! Rest assured, you won't be disappointed! Service is the most crucial factor!

GGuest UserDuring the May Day holiday, my family went to Xiong'an for a trip. We arrived smoothly in 2 hours from Beijing. The check-in time was a bit long due to the full occupancy rate during the holiday, but the staff were fully cooperative and finally lived in the Little Prince theme suite that the children liked.
Facilities: The room is spacious and bright, fully equipped with a small tent, electronic piano, dolls, and drawing boards. Even if you don't leave the hotel, the children can play for half a day. It is strongly recommended to bring children to stay in a parent-child theme room.
Hygiene: Equipped with a full set of Little Prince toiletries and towels, the sheets and quilts are clean and tidy. Staying for two nights, the room cleaning on the second day was also very timely and in place, and the room was cleaned and tidy.
Environment: The hotel is very convenient to the Eye of Xiong'an, the Convention and Exhibition Center, and Yuerong Park. The room has light and dark adjustment, which is very friendly for babies to take a nap.
Service: Very satisfied! A few days before check-in, the hotel staff contacted in advance and informed us of very detailed travel strategies and precautions. Any problems during the stay were solved in time. When I met the hotel staff, they were all smiling, making the guests feel at home!
Of course, there are also shortcomings. There are many guests in the hotel during the holidays, and the waiting time for check-in is a bit long, which is a bit difficult for babies who want to take a nap. However, because the suite comes with afternoon tea for two, we waited in the lobby bar to ease some of the pressure. The windows in the room need to be told to open by the staff. There is a bit of smell in the room, but opening the window for ventilation and adding an air purifier alleviates it a little. There is a queue during the peak period of the breakfast buffet. Another thing is that for electric car owners, there is no charging pile equipment in the hotel basement, which is not very convenient.
Overall, it was a very satisfactory stay experience, and I would recommend friends who come to Xiong'an to choose Sofitel Hotel.

YYuanxiaobaobaoddWe stayed in a spacious double room in the office building, decorated in a slightly old-fashioned style. Although there was no private hot spring, there was a bathtub. Watching the New Year's Eve gala on TV as a family was quite pleasant.
Breakfast was fairly plentiful; the pancakes were good. There was fruit, cold dishes, stir-fries, and various staple foods. The coffee was instant.
Agricultural Park Mini-Pass (Unlimited Entry and Exit): This was excellent; we strolled around. The pass inside was 55 yuan, and we played in the snow world and bumper cars, which was well worth it.
Double Hot Spring Resort: This was my second visit. It was too crowded and rather old. The price-performance ratio was acceptable.

LLishizhishouI am on National Day, I went to Baishi Mountain on October 1, 2023. I stayed on the evening of October 1 and left on October 2. In fact, the time at this hotel is from 6:00 pm to 9:00 am on the second day. Let me talk about the overall feeling below. This hotel is the kind of seasonal hotel. From the end of the National Day Golden Week in May 1st to October, the hotel is closed. The scale of this hotel is relatively large, with more than 100 sets in the yard. For each set, there are three rooms on the top and two rooms on the bottom. You can pack a small courtyard yourself or book separately. If you drive from Baishi Mountain, it is a 5-minute drive from the visitor center and a 20-minute drive from the ABCD parking lot. The biggest disadvantage of this hotel is that there is no air conditioning, and it is a little cold if you go on National Day. But the quilt is very thick and sleeps well. This hotel is renovated for 16 years, so its decoration feels relatively old, especially the windows and doors, which feel like a very cheap alloy material. Hotel breakfast is OK, there are four or five kinds of hot dishes, there are four or five kinds of cold dishes, there are buns, flower rolls, steamed buns, fried dough sticks. Our dinner was eaten at a Guangfa restaurant 7 minutes drive from this hotel. The feeling of dining was OK, that is, a little home-cooked food, the meal was more adequate and more affordable. 7 people spent 370 yuan. There is also a big bone for everyone. After breakfast at 9 am on the second day, we went to the sky grassland an hour and a half away. If you are in the sky grassland, you can go to the price and get a 50% discount. If you have enough time, you can also go to the Baishikou Great Wall to take a look. Remember to turn right at Baishikou Village. If you can't navigate, if you navigate, the Baishikou Great Wall is a gate building and it will be finished in three minutes. By the way, if you book a hotel on Trip.com, you will also send an energy package. One for one room, not for the room.

GGuest UserThe Modern Crystal Hotel of Baoding is an absolute gem and I definitely recommend staying here when you come to Baoding. It is extremely modern and comfortable and has a very convenient location in the center of Baoding. Xiao Li at the front desk was great in helping me check in! It is honestly unbelievable that such a great hotel is available at such a low price point! At first I thought it was too good to be true but it lives up to the pictures and all the amenities promised online!

What needs to be complained is still the breakfast. Although it is included, there is nothing left when I went there at 8 o'clock. There are only a few pickles and two cold dishes, which are also the bottom, and there is no staple food. After everyone's strong reaction, some quick-frozen bean buns came up, which were all cold and not heated through, and they had to be snatched. And there were no basic eggs, at least one per person, and the waiter said we didn't have eggs.
The restaurant waiter said that there were too many people and the food couldn't be cooked, but how many people stayed every day and the front desk didn't communicate, don't they know how many people eat?
