This hotel is quite close to Baoding East Station, and it's also very convenient to take a taxi or bus from the hotel to the city center. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Although some of the facilities are a bit old, the cleanliness and service are excellent. They even provide complimentary fruits and drinks. The breakfast offers a good variety, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as some local specialty snacks. I particularly appreciate that the front desk offered complimentary cookies and warm bottled water when I checked out, and even asked if I needed a ride to the high-speed rail station.

Stayed here with my wife and son while visiting family and had a great experience. I was a bit hesitant at first since we usually stick with Marriott properties, but this place exceeded expectations and honestly felt better than many Marriott hotels we’ve stayed at. The hotel feels brand new, very clean, and well maintained. The laundry room was a huge plus for us, especially traveling with a child. Breakfast was convenient and tasty, so we didn’t even need to leave the building in the mornings. There’s also a convenience store right around the corner which made things even easier. What really stood out was the staff. The reception team was incredibly kind and helpful, especially when my son had an emotional moment. Despite the language barrier, check-in and check-out were smooth using an offline translation app. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel location and quality are the best in Yishui Lake Scenic Area! The restaurant exit is the Golden Turtle Wharf, which is very convenient! The roof terrace has a panoramic view of Yishui Lake! The blue infinity pool is integrated with the lake. The room facilities are very clean, the room is spacious, the bedding towels are of good quality! Hotel service is also very warm and thoughtful. During the stay, there was an episode. There were many cars during the May Day holiday. My car was blocked by other cars. The hotel leader on duty (I heard that he was a treasurer), and immediately provided his own private car service! This kind of hotel quality is precious as a matter of your own home! The hotel manager specially prepared local millet for souvenirs! The warm atmosphere is reflected everywhere. The hotel's backyard parking lot is spacious and there are various lake views. A high watchtower, looking at the distant mountains and the lake, refreshing...

The price was very competitive for the area, offering excellent value for money. A hidden gem hotel in Zhuozhou! I wanted to take the mattress home immediately after my stay 😭 I booked the Yicheng Hotel by chance while in Zhuozhou, and I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhuozhou for leisure or business! First, the cleanliness is amazing! There was no unpleasant hotel smell as soon as I entered, the sheets and blankets had a clean, sun-kissed scent, and there was no dust in the corners of the bathroom or the crevices of the table. Even the mirror on the sink was sparkling clean—it made me feel so safe and comfortable! The location is also super convenient, with convenience stores and snack shops nearby. You don't have to go far to buy things or eat, perfect for lazy people. What impressed me most was the service and facilities! Both the receptionist and the housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in was super fast, and they even proactively recommended good restaurants nearby. They were all smiles throughout, making for a fantastic experience! The room facilities were also very new, the air conditioning cooled down quickly and wasn't noisy, the shower had good water pressure and a stable water temperature, and even the hairdryer was powerful! Let me emphasize this mattress! It's absolutely amazing! I'm a light sleeper and often have trouble sleeping in different hotels, but I slept soundly through the night here. The mattress had just the right firmness and excellent support; my back didn't ache at all when I woke up. I asked the front desk for the mattress link the day I checked in, and I'm already planning to get one for my own home! 😂 The room design was also very practical. The bedside table had USB charging ports, the round dining table was large enough for business trips, and there was plenty of space for a clothes rack—perfect for putting away suitcases and hanging clothes. In short, I was extremely satisfied with this stay. It was incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Zhuozhou! I came to this city on a business trip, and I can honestly say this was one of the best places I stayed during my time in China. The hotel is located in an excellent area, everything was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I especially want to recognize the housekeeping staff—the ladies who cleaned and took care of my room did an excellent job throughout my stay. The only real challenge I experienced was the language barrier. Communication in English at the hotel was very difficult, and for international business travelers, having at least one English-speaking staff member available would make a big difference. One other suggestion would be to have a restaurant and bar inside the hotel open in the evening, where guests could enjoy a drink and a variety of international food without having to leave the hotel. This would be especially convenient for foreign guests who may have difficulty communicating outside because of the language barrier. With these improvements, this hotel would easily be a 10/10 for me. Overall, I had an excellent experience and I highly recommend it to my business colleagues visiting the area. Great location, excellent cleanliness, delicious breakfast, and wonderful service. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The hotel also provides a complimentary fruit platter, which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. The room is well equipped with a capsule coffee machine, and there is even a washing machine inside the room, making the stay especially convenient for families and longer visits. Another major highlight is the room layout. In addition to the bedroom, there is a separate small living area. This design is a big plus — my husband can watch TV or work in the living space without disturbing my rest, which greatly enhances comfort and privacy. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for business or families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Citadines to anyone visiting Baoding.

The hotel boasts luxurious facilities and spacious rooms, offering excellent living conditions. However, the carpet in the rooms wasn't thoroughly cleaned, and the lack of a delivery robot made convenience a bit of an issue. The kids' club on the first basement floor was poorly managed. The connecting door to the mall was often left open, allowing many external visitors to flood in and occupy the play area meant for hotel guests' children, making the environment chaotic. The duty manager and the short-haired staff member on that day were very proactive in addressing the issue and promptly removed the external visitors. We thought everything was settled, but a little later, we found that a connecting door was still ajar, and external individuals were re-entering the kids' club area, posing a safety risk. The hotel's access control was inadequate, lacking long-term effective management. Overall, the hardware is excellent. I hope the hotel strengthens its room cleaning details, adds delivery robots, and strictly controls access to the kids' club to ensure the exclusive play rights of its guests. Additionally, I'd like to commend the duty manager and the short-haired lady in the black uniform on the first basement floor for their prompt and excellent handling of the situation. I also appreciate the front desk staff who gave a gift to our child.

Everting is good ,1st time I came into China as a Muslim business man, I found this hotel have HALAL food options in a breakfast as well, location near to all my required factories. One thing management need to focus on: 1- smoking is everywhere almost although they have displayed the sign ,”no smoking “ but no one care even hotel staff as well especially breakfast time staff also does smoking which gives me anxiety and sickness as a non smoker . In rooms people are smoking as well. It’s very good hotel but no following the rules non smoking . Next to the hotel is halal restaurant is available as well for lunch and dinner. Important thing they have prayer room as well.

The layout of the room, with no physical barrier between the toilet and the rest of the room, was really uncomfortable. On top of that, there was a persistent strange smell coming from the toilet. Breakfast was just average. Also, it mentioned a minibar, but the fridge wasn't plugged in and was completely empty. If there are no drinks provided, I think they should remove 'minibar' from the description altogether. Everything else was pretty good though.
