Stayed here with my wife and son while visiting family and had a great experience. I was a bit hesitant at first since we usually stick with Marriott properties, but this place exceeded expectations and honestly felt better than many Marriott hotels we’ve stayed at. The hotel feels brand new, very clean, and well maintained. The laundry room was a huge plus for us, especially traveling with a child. Breakfast was convenient and tasty, so we didn’t even need to leave the building in the mornings. There’s also a convenience store right around the corner which made things even easier. What really stood out was the staff. The reception team was incredibly kind and helpful, especially when my son had an emotional moment. Despite the language barrier, check-in and check-out were smooth using an offline translation app. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is quite close to Baoding East Station, and it's also very convenient to take a taxi or bus from the hotel to the city center. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Although some of the facilities are a bit old, the cleanliness and service are excellent. They even provide complimentary fruits and drinks. The breakfast offers a good variety, with both Chinese and Western options, as well as some local specialty snacks. I particularly appreciate that the front desk offered complimentary cookies and warm bottled water when I checked out, and even asked if I needed a ride to the high-speed rail station.

Hotel location and quality are the best in Yishui Lake Scenic Area! The restaurant exit is the Golden Turtle Wharf, which is very convenient! The roof terrace has a panoramic view of Yishui Lake! The blue infinity pool is integrated with the lake. The room facilities are very clean, the room is spacious, the bedding towels are of good quality! Hotel service is also very warm and thoughtful. During the stay, there was an episode. There were many cars during the May Day holiday. My car was blocked by other cars. The hotel leader on duty (I heard that he was a treasurer), and immediately provided his own private car service! This kind of hotel quality is precious as a matter of your own home! The hotel manager specially prepared local millet for souvenirs! The warm atmosphere is reflected everywhere. The hotel's backyard parking lot is spacious and there are various lake views. A high watchtower, looking at the distant mountains and the lake, refreshing...

My stay at Fairfield by Marriott Baoding was fantastic! The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was great. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. The overall facilities are new and well-maintained. It offers incredible value for money, perfect for both business trips and short getaways. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Baoding. Highly recommend!

The hotel boasts luxurious facilities and spacious rooms, offering excellent living conditions. However, the carpet in the rooms wasn't thoroughly cleaned, and the lack of a delivery robot made convenience a bit of an issue. The kids' club on the first basement floor was poorly managed. The connecting door to the mall was often left open, allowing many external visitors to flood in and occupy the play area meant for hotel guests' children, making the environment chaotic. The duty manager and the short-haired staff member on that day were very proactive in addressing the issue and promptly removed the external visitors. We thought everything was settled, but a little later, we found that a connecting door was still ajar, and external individuals were re-entering the kids' club area, posing a safety risk. The hotel's access control was inadequate, lacking long-term effective management. Overall, the hardware is excellent. I hope the hotel strengthens its room cleaning details, adds delivery robots, and strictly controls access to the kids' club to ensure the exclusive play rights of its guests. Additionally, I'd like to commend the duty manager and the short-haired lady in the black uniform on the first basement floor for their prompt and excellent handling of the situation. I also appreciate the front desk staff who gave a gift to our child.

Everting is good ,1st time I came into China as a Muslim business man, I found this hotel have HALAL food options in a breakfast as well, location near to all my required factories. One thing management need to focus on: 1- smoking is everywhere almost although they have displayed the sign ,”no smoking “ but no one care even hotel staff as well especially breakfast time staff also does smoking which gives me anxiety and sickness as a non smoker . In rooms people are smoking as well. It’s very good hotel but no following the rules non smoking . Next to the hotel is halal restaurant is available as well for lunch and dinner. Important thing they have prayer room as well.

The soundproofing was great, making for a very quiet night, allowing me to get a good night's sleep after a busy day. The service was professional and appropriate; both security and housekeeping staff were very diligent and responsive to my needs. The facilities were comprehensive, with hot water and air conditioning working perfectly, providing a great user experience. The price was very competitive for the area, offering excellent value for money. The overall experience was impeccable, making it a top choice for business travelers, and I will definitely stay here again on future trips.

This stay truly exceeded all expectations. As foreigners visiting Citadines Baoding for the first time, the overall experience couldn’t have been better — it was absolutely top-notch 👍. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with a sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The hotel also provides a complimentary fruit platter, which was a very nice and thoughtful touch. The room is well equipped with a capsule coffee machine, and there is even a washing machine inside the room, making the stay especially convenient for families and longer visits. Another major highlight is the room layout. In addition to the bedroom, there is a separate small living area. This design is a big plus — my husband can watch TV or work in the living space without disturbing my rest, which greatly enhances comfort and privacy. Overall, whether it was the attention to detail at the front desk, the comfort and quality of the accommodation, or the excellent food and beverage service, this hotel truly delivered on all fronts. It’s absolutely an ideal choice for business or families traveling with children, and we would highly recommend Citadines to anyone visiting Baoding.

The layout of the room, with no physical barrier between the toilet and the rest of the room, was really uncomfortable. On top of that, there was a persistent strange smell coming from the toilet. Breakfast was just average. Also, it mentioned a minibar, but the fridge wasn't plugged in and was completely empty. If there are no drinks provided, I think they should remove 'minibar' from the description altogether. Everything else was pretty good though.

I want to give a special shout-out to Jenny, Louise, and KIKI for their exceptional service during my stay. From check-in to check-out, I felt their meticulous and warm hospitality. They were gentle and sincere, always smiling, and patiently answered all my questions, proactively offering travel tips. When issues arose, they actively helped coordinate and resolve them. They were diligent and responsible, striking the perfect balance—never intrusive, yet always there to assist when needed. I truly felt the hotel's thoughtful and warm service. A big thank you to Jenny for her dedicated service; she truly deserves high praise. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!
